It's easy for guys to sometime think they are being set up by groups. Take the false rape story that was published
in the Rolling Stone. When the story came out it said that 7 guys from FI Kappa Psi frat house at the
University of Virginia gang raped a woman at a frat party. Many campus groups including the NOA, called for the closure
of all the male frat houses at UAV. All the guys at the frat house were guilty till proven innocence. All their
lives will be tainted because of the story. As we now know this story turned out to be false, but there was no
front page apology's to each Fi Kappa Pi members. How many false rape claims are made by women who get
caught in one night stands and had second thought's about it. In England two or more rape claims are proven
to be false each month. The guy's face and name are put on the front page and dragged in the dirt but will the get front
page coverage when the claim is proven to be false? Having women sign disclaimers is the extreme but having
a wing man along can be prudent.
There are guys who are s rapist who need to be put away for a long time. There is no doubt that the number of rapes far
exceeds the false rape claims. Look at how many years Bill Cosby got away with it. But story's like the Rolling
Stone and false claims hurt prosecution of true assaults.
