They blew it with two straight lottery picks who played the same position (McLemore and Stauskas). Last several drafts all picking in the top 10:
2015 Cauley-Stein (6th) - jury out, but could have cashed in for king's ransom from Boston (wanted Winslow)
2014 Stauskas (8th) - already dumped with a 1st and a pick swap
2013 McLemore (7th) - KCP, McCollom, Greek Freak, etc. all sitting there
2012 T Robinson (5th) - ahead of Lillard, Barnes, Drummond. Gone before season over for no return
2011 Fredette (10th) after swapping out of Biyambo at 6th - Klay and Kawhi on the board
2010 Cousins (4th)
2009 Tyreke (4th) - Curry, Derozan and others available
They arguably did just as well with their second rounders - Whiteside and Isiah Thomas, but also have nothing to show for those guys. What a joke of a franchise.
