He had a problem with the media misrepresenting him (in his eyes). He never said to halt the political discourse. Big difference there.
He threatened to go after the media like he was Goebbels.

And yet not one single video of him doing this despite the 1,000s of balls and parties he has attended over the pat 30 years. He just in tellin it like it is. Trump is a one woman man. When he was having an affair with Marla Maples, he wasn't even having sex with Ivanka. And in court, it was brought out that she use to hit him and throw silverware and plates at him b/c he never spent any time with her. The woman was bonkers.

Dude, most guys talk like this. I have seen ugly guys, dorks, nerds, etc. say worse. Most guys are just primitive animals when curbing their primal urges. Until Trump starts ordering pros utes in the White House and getting head in the Oval Office, I don't think ANYONE who supported Bill Clinton has right to say a damn thing about him. Bunch of in Hypocrites, actually than hypocrites.
I wouldn't have any problem with Trump inviting pros utes to the white house. That's a consensual agreement. Walking up and just kissing women isn't.

Pop can do whatever he wants. I'm saying it's not really business savvy in the business he's in--entertaining people, a large portion of whom will inevitably lean the opposite political direction. I never said people have to shut up about their political views. Pop is just in a position now where he has the professional capital to burn, thanks to his success.
The NBA has pretty much given up on the conservative base of America. The majority of the NBA fan base is liberal hence why Silver and NBA tries hard to market towards that base. Pop is actually not hurting himself business wise when you consider that.

Pretty much. I didn't grow up in this country, so this whole red-blue rah rah is pretty amusing, tbh...
I'd be right there with ya if I weren't from here, tbh

I'm used to folks close to me disagreeing with me (being black and a conservative, it kinda comes with the territory), but the past decade or so, it's gotten to the point where cordial conversation on the micro level between the sides is almost non-existent.

It's annoying because I genuinely enjoy a spirited debate. Just hard to come by these days.

Why? Was he diagramming a march down SW Military in a timeout last night or something?
No, because you live in a Military town where you are taught to respect whomever is in office. He is not setting a good example for his community. If he care so much about society, he would be more choice with his words and the time of his presentations. Like I said, if coaching isn't his passion no more, go be an activist. Problem with American society today is people don't have etiquette and propriety. Just anarchy.

The man has lived his life in the public eye for decades, but only magically became the worst racist/sexist/xenophobe/bigot in the world as soon as he put an "R" next to his name. It's a little silly.
That's bull . Trump has always been known as a piece of . His run to the white house just made it more transparent to the masses.

True. I was referring moreso to the supporters of his own team, but, yeah, the NBA as a whole is decidedly leftist.

Doesn't make a difference to me--I'm a fan of the game itself and civic pride spurs me to watch the Spurs. In general, though, if I were in his position, I just wouldn't even with it, tbh. But Pop can do whatever he wants to do--that's his prerogative. If he runs for public office, I'll re-evaluate his positions then. Until then, just get us river parade #6, please

This has nothing to do with conservative. This has to do with being a complete piece of when it comes to important social issues.

In my eyes, not a damn thing. Should be legalized across the damn board.

When it comes to sex, I'm pretty moderate/liberal, actually

Go solicit someone right now right in front of a Police Officer, or better yet, one of these women marchers that you applaud Pop for standing up for and come back and tell everyone about your exploit. I am sure we all would love to hear the outcome and what others think of pros ution.

I agree. I know people like to demonize women for selling sex, but many of them are nice people.

I remember David Robinson being a huge Pro-Bush guy in '03 when it came to the Iraq War. Robinson condemned anybody who was against the war by saying they were unpatriotic for not supporting the president. I was one of those people who were anti-war and thought it was stupid of him to say that but I still had no problems rooting for the Spurs. I think some people don't realize that you can still root for your favorite team or athletes even if you disagree with them politically or just the way they live their lives.

The people that demonize pros ution are the very ladies that Pop is supporting. Go watch interview of Nina Hartley on Oprah, 90% of the women are booing her and calling her trash. Yet I tell my wife, those same damn ladies should be thankful for these pornstars b/c many of them didn't get rape going out the past few weekends b/c most perverts are at home taken care of their business b/c of these very pornstars.

That is what I don't like. These feminist Nazi condemn these women, yet they supported a man who abused these very same women. Bunch of in HYPOCRITES. And Pop supports them. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of feminists are for legalized pros ution. I don't see your point. Ooh, what if trump smoked Cuban cigars in the white house? Go tell the customs guy you're bringing them into the country and see how that goes too.

I don't have a problem at all with a woman (or man) putting a price tag on consenting relations. , that's what the majority of dates are, anyways, when you stop and think about it

That's what it comes down to. I don't need the entertainers I watch to be lockstep with me politically. That's not why I watch them in the first place

Pop gives a reason for half of the country to care less about the NBA.
