Overloading on pancakes once in a while isn't going to kill you.
That being said, if I want pancakes, I'd rather just pay for them and not have to deal with the hoi polloi that'll be cramming the IHOPs on free pancake day.
I can afford several pairs of Beats. Coming out of pocket for pancakes isn't going to hurt.

Not always. The initial choking and resulting lack of oxygen can cause several body organs to shut down.
My guess is that the ultimate cause of death was catastrophic vagina failure.
