Your entire team failed. Kobe failed. So what does it matter? They suck with Kobe on the bench or on the court, Pringles needed to find him some rest and he failed miserably. You don't play a 35 year old in his 17th season 45mpg and routinely the entire gamePERIOD. At least Kobe may still have been around for the Lakers' inevitable sweeping at the hands of the Thunder. Agreed. Last night, even though Dwight had a nice box score game, there was fear there. Fear of the Bag as he summoned some of his historical form late there in the 4th. No. I'm saying the stakes would have no relation to '84-'85, or, '08-'10. Howard has no heritage, and Bryant settled all family business in '10. Perhaps something in the future could rise to such a level as the aforementioned years, but, not this. This is their own birddog. There are no slings & arrows of outrageous fortune here. We did this to ourselves. Nobody "helped us." You can't take vengeance on yourself. There is no payoff.
