there isn't really a consensus. i think people acknowledge that brady/montana are the top 2. nostalgic old farts put montana up there, everybody else has brady by this point.
after that, i'd probably still say peyton manning. even with his postseason shortcomings in mind, his greatness was on another level. his body of work is goat-worthy which at some point has to matter.
i'd go brees/rodgers/marino/favre after that. next tier is the "winners" who weren't quite as prolific, as in elway/aikman. they have clutch moments but spend most of their careers throwing like 17 touchdowns per year. you can talk all you want about eras, but those numbers were pedestrian even during those times
