Robz4000

Great adjustment by LeBron changing the Cavs defensive strategy..

Indiana is a 1-man team, just like the Spurs..Warriors begged anybody but Aldridge to beat them and it's been impossible on a team full of role players..LeBron deciding to do the same for the Cavs, Oladipo getting trapped on virtually every play in the half..

Difference is Indy's role players aren't old/unathletic/non-NBA players.

Eh, I don't think Love was that open because Love had a guy in front of him. There was no one guarding Clarkson. The guy that was suppose to guard Clarkson abandoned him to go after J.R. Smith very early. That Pacer defender is lucky that J.R. Smith is an idiot because Clarkson could've gotten the ball with over 2 second left.

Zero chance Lebron staying at Cleveland, win or lose..That's much clear..

Definitely think Philly have vaulted themselves seriously in his sweepstakes..People will bring the fit with Simmons; to that the answer is clear: You don't ever fuckin say no to Lebron..

There are no guarantees in this league..You got a chance at title, you got for it while it's there..

Could you imagine the damage MJ would do in today's NBA? He'd average 50.

LBJ would get laid out prancing into the lane by the likes of Oakley, Ewing, Tree Rollins, Laimbeer, Worm, Salley, etc.

That's the type of rough and rugged frontline that awaited MJ when he got by the names of players CN tweeted. And they would give his ass a forearm shiver (common foul - not flagrant like today's NBA) which made him think thrice about going to the rack.

LBJ doesn't worry about such things and still took an L by some no-name G Leaguer after being up 17 :lmao

Not doubting LBJ's skillset. Due to his defensive abilities, I'd say his overall skillset is higher than Magic's (my favorite player of all time). With his skillset he'd be a really good player but not what we see today.

What I question is his mental toughness. LBJ complained about lil dudes fouling him in today's NBA. Back then they could clothesline you and get away with it. After they pull you off the floor, you just go shoot your freebies. Remember that forearm shiver Mailman gave Zeke? Damn near killed him. How about the one he gave the Admiral? Knocked him out cold. How about Rudy T getting knocked the fuck out back in the day? It goes on and on.

All them times LBJ was on the sideline doing the cabbage patch while his team was up 20 in the 4th with 3:21 left in the game? The very next time he played that time he played that team, the 11th man on the roster would be a starter that night. He'd use all 6 of his hard fouls on LBJ. I guarantee you he won't be dancing no more after that shit. :lol

I also don't think he has the mental fortitude to deal with The Jordan Rules, per se. They used to kick MJ's ass, literally. I'm sure they'd concoct some LeBron rules too. Depending on which dance he performed on the sideline would determine his "punishment" :lol

He wouldn't survive the same shit MJ had to, despite being the best in the game. But that's just me.

And of course Bill said that. Like Zeke, he hates MJ. Take anything they say with a grain of salt tbh.

Would LeBron have been as good if he was 6'4 220, of 6'8 250? If not then you have to question how skilled is he really. Being big and overpowering isn't a skill.

What an impressive series from the Pelicans, came out of nowhere..a team that specialized in close wins with a 1.41 SRS and underdogs in the series without HCA, yet still thoroughly dominated Portland..

Hopefully they can at least challenge the Curry-less Warriors a little..Klay covering Holiday and no option vs. Durant will hurt, but they're on such a nice roll..

It's not a big deal- if they don't lose in this round they'll lose in another round, so whatever. But LeBron is human like the rest of us and he has his foibles, which include not making an effort to get back on defense from time to time if he isn't in the mood to.

Anyway, I agree that a ridiculous amount is asked of him. But he didn't have to play 82 games. I'm sure LeBron has the clout to take a game off every now and again. I wouldn't think less of him for doing so. The man deserves to take a break from time to time.

Context. Yes he chases down and blocks. But, show me a clip where he turned the ball over on one side of the court, then immediately got after a player going for a layup way on the other side of the court, then swatted it away. That takes a ton of energy and drive. Kobe had it. I haven't seen that with LBJ.

Remember, Kobe taught him to play defense in the 2008 Olympics. You need proof? Show me one all-defensive team LBJ made before that year (Kobe already had a couple). You can't. Even Coach K said Kobe set the tone on that team ever since their first practice. Facts.

one good thing about the celtics youngs, is that they are usable even if playing off the ball. Brown has been the top defender in the league according to some metrics and has no visible weak point. Granted, he doesn't have Kawhi's absurd quality, but he's a winner type of player.

KL is an unknown right now, health wise. He's coming off a bad injury that kept him out a full year. We don't even know his long term prognosis.

OTOH, if he were 100%, sure, but I'm not giving up my best two young forwards for what might be. He might be DPOY again - nobody knows if he'll be the same player again. Just like we don't know what BI or Kuz will become, given how young they are.

OTOH, if he were 100%, sure, but I'm not giving up my best two young forwards for what might be. He might be DPOY again - nobody knows if he'll be the same player again. Just like we don't know what BI or Kuz will become, given how young they are.

If I'm Maginka, I say one or the other - with BI being plan Z. If CIA Pop balks, oh well.

One of the two don't get it done. Luckily for the Spurs there are a Lot of suitors with interesting assets out there, someone will offer a desirable trade off. And if not, keeping Kawhi is still the best option.

You don't get full value for a star to begin with. Especially not now that he's disgruntled. For example, Shaq was worth more than just Odom and spares. We should have gotten Wade too.

I'd be shocked if ya'll get a kings ransome for Kiwi.
