...Baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience. - 1 Peter 3
See my last post, not most recent, not final, not next, not first, not previous, and not prior. Past tense, idiots.
...Baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience. - 1 Peter 3
And what have I been telling you all along from my first to last post? A good God given conscience is what you need, but sorely lack.
So go back and read my last post, it was there too.
You don't even have the scriptures on marriage or judgment correct, thus it is impossible for you to have a God given good conscience. Impossible. "The scripture cannot CANNOT CANNOT be broken." Not even by a pathetic little worm like you.
There's nothing anywhere in the NT that refers to the OT as just parables.
the new testament itself clearly says Jesus was walking on water. If he didn't, then the word of God lied.
Troll. Success!
"All your troll are belong to us."
Thats not how it works. The scriptures are veiled. Only those with spiritual eyes can see.
I personally believe He did, but it wouldn't surprise me if He didn't. It doesn't change the point being made.
Also, you show your ignorance of scripture. I have already quoted Christ and Paul explaining that the OT is prophecy and testimony. That Christ spoke in parables because He saw God doing so. That they are Jewish myths and fables.
You keep spewing your false gospel and you keep judging me where you have no right to judge. You don't even know me, so yours are the empty meaningless words from a false Christian and demon worshiper. You've already been established as and discovered to be a troll.
Why should we ever believe any of your hypocritical lies?
And the only thing veiled is your twisted conception of the truth.
You may as well admit you failed miserably.
Nothing anywhere says the scriptures are veiled.
You made that up.
Okay, genius. Why did Jesus speak in parables then?
prophecy/testimony do not equal parables.
You're making up your own reason as to why Christ spoke in parables.
Epic fail.
For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. 15Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. 16But when oned turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. - 2 Corinthians 3:14-16
There are many others. Answer why Jesus spoke in parables. Come on...
Good analogies help make speaking points.
Looks like Blake is closing in on a Sunday Internet win.
How right you are!
But you'll never convince skull, because he is a troll trying to get under your skin and failing miserably to do so.
Oh, I am? Really, bag?
Okay numb nuts. I will do the work for you in the hope you might see...
9And when his disciples asked him what this parable meant, 10he said, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’ - Luke 8:9-10
And from Matthew with more detail...
10Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” 11And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 13This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:
“‘You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.
15 For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and turn, and I would heal them.’
16But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. - Matthew 13:10-16
Not even close. Do you know how to read?
The analogies they draw are veiled, you stupid azz.
And so are your eyes, to the Truth.
Don't you see?
Oops, I guess not, asswipe!
You just don't have the balls to admit when you lose.
Epic fail on your part.
The scriptures aren't veiled. Their hearts, minds, eyes and other body parts I guess are veiled.
epic meltdown.
Wrong!
"All this I have spoken to you in veiled language. The time is coming when I shall no longer speak to you in veiled language, but will tell you about the Father in plain words." - John 16:25
And the veil is only removed in Christ. You cannot see Heavenly things as a carnal person. Period.
You have to be in Christ.

Yeah, sounds like a long winded way of saying that although the disciples get the message, other people need a good story to make it make sense.
It's pretty obvious that you are not in Christ.
More like you think you are Christ risen from the dead.
