If a felon did his/her time then their debt has been paid to society and they should be allowed to vote.
Did you see John Oliver's segment on felon voting rights in Florida where people would have to go to Tallahassee and plead their case directly to Scott to get their voting rights restored? One of Scott's cronies would keep asking people where they went to church before determining whether they got to vote or not.

Hope it works. Pelosi was a great speaker last time. Too bad Reid was such a piece of and couldn't get the votes for Pelosi's original ACA bill with the public option.
Yeah, if it's going to be gridlock, might as well get the woman who triggers Trumpistas the most.

She's talking like she'll pass the baton at some point, so there's that.

The issue is whatever to me. Wouldn't preach for or against. Just found it funny OP felt accomplished like his family members are felons or himself actually. I imagine if I had a felony on my record there would be far more pressing issues in my life than elections

ya for Felons! Now if only you guys can push forward the illegal and non citizen vote
Nah. We will have just enough power in 2020 to have control of state legislatures to gerrymander the out of you asshats, and that will end you as a national party. Maybe then you will care about the issue.

Maricopa County looks to finally be 100% in and all the rest are 98% in or better. Didn't move the needle at all for Sinemy. Looks like McSally has won, with pretty significant thanks to green party/socialist candidate Angela Green.

Not if it's a violent crime, but definitely for a white collar type fraud felony

Sad like $10 minimum wage, expanding medicaid or going into a universal healthcare is considered moderate but I guess it is. Just going to $9 or $10 minimum wage paying off social security and even lowering the full minimum social security age to like 62 or 63 would be phenomenal for me
Why do you want to lower SS age when we are living longer? I want to raise it to 70.

Some gains? They took the house, and now have subpoena power. They took a ton of governorships. Passed a law in Florida to allow felons to vote. It was not a good night for Donald. Oh and when Mueller takes down Trump and Pence, guess who is third in line of succession
I fail to see how Mueller would take down Pence - him of the not being alone with any woman except his wife.

I want to make the end of people's lives easier and also its a proven, popular program so would be a well liked move. Also, a way to stand up to Rs who have been trying to minimize/gut/do away with it since FDR's days by pushing in the other direction and expanding it

That was the plan when they set it at 65. Average life expectancy at the time was 61.

The good old days. Before HRC turned him into a delusional conspiracy theorist. I’ve never seen a failed presidential candidate have such a profound effect on someone’s emotions the way she did TSA.

Florida Gov and Senate races still being counted, both are currently within the threshold for automatic recounts.

McSally/Sinema Arizona Senate race still too close to call.

I thought Gilliam already conceded the gov race?
