Marvel Studios & Sony Pictures officially unveiled Spider-Man: Homecoming as the official title of their next Spider-Man film late last night at CinemaCon and sixteen hours later, we have some potentially major casting news.

According to Variety, Academy Award-nominee Michael Keaton (Spotlight), remembered by many as The Dark Knight in the two Tim Burton-directed Batman films, is currently in very early negotiations to play the villain in the upcoming Spidey reboot. Details on the role in question were not provided, but if a recent rumor is to be believed, he could be in talks to play Adrian Toomes a.k.a. The Vulture. However, there have also been rumors suggesting the film could utilize multiple villains, so he could possibly turn out to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of Norman Osborn, Mysterio, Scorpion, or even J. Jonah Jameson. Nothing is confirmed just yet, so we'll have to wait and see.

Jon Favreau Confirms Return To The Marvel Cinematic Universe


The Jungle Book looks set to be Favreau's biggest movie to date, and while a sequel is reportedly already in development, the filmmaker is returning to the MCU considerably sooner than anyone expected.

was on the ps2, loosely followed the spiderman 2 plot (doc oc). was the best game as far as the traveling new york, swinging around freely, choosing when you wanted to start a mission. sorta like a poor mans GTA but with spiderman

the cool thing was that the city was an actual model of NYC (scaled 1/3 tho) so you could actually visit landmarks like empire state, twin towers site and their locations relative to the city were accurate. if you managed to find a helicopter you could attach web to it and it would pull you to liberty isle and you could climb the statue

as far as other games, batman arkham asylumwas pretty top tier.

i also really enjoyed x-men legends rise of apocalypse (but thats a much older game during ps2 era). huge cast of playable characters, could also unlock ironman, deadpool, prof x, etc.

but i basically haven't touched a console for a while now, basically since 720 and ps4 came out. i didnt feel like spending money on a console when i was starting school, and its not worth to buy games on outdated consoles, so i dont game anymore

I think instead of 'reboots' or what not, that Fox should focus on period-piece one off movies. Make an 80's setting movie of Mutant Massacre. Or a 90's movie of Onslaught. Don't worry about continuity, don't waste years and years for shitty fucking reboots that they're incapable of maintaining continuity for....bc
1) The movies will be hits as long as they don't make it the most expensive movie ever
2) Majority of comic fan movie goers will still be able to follow any one-off movie and doesn't need perfect continuity....hell the comics even break away from that with alternate universes and obvious ret-conning.

The CGI was horrible; though, I didn't hate the movie up until the scene where he met up with Gambit, it took a dive after that.

The Wolverine was better by comparison but slowly paced and the fight scenes didn't really make up for it.

Making Drax be 100% goofy comedy got tiresome, and they want you to care way more about Yondu than anybody probably will. But it's still really funny, Rocket is still awesome, and Baby Groot is awesome.

They fucked up taking kurt russel and making him the bad guy, wasted character. They also spent too much time on ego part of the charm from the last one was all the environments they went to. I wouldn't say it was a bad movie but it definitely wasn't a great movie
