I think the way it's worded is possibly misleading.

If a 5 star player is kicking ass at the school he originally signed with, why would he transfer?

Usually it's the kids that aren't quite panning out or getting playing time that transfer.... meaning they might not really be 5 star players to begin with.

You could go to 64 plus "play ins" like basketball and get much less of a backlash because the teams left out would make a very loud noise with very few people screaming. It would require press outrage, which would also be muted because few would care. If its drama people want, go back to 4 and screw Florida State over.

In addition: The conference championship AFTER the regular season should allow all the teams, regardless of regular season, to have a chance. Just to screw it up even more. If you just want to watch endless football I get it. The ever present minor league that inevitably pops up so the NFL can claim it has competition should keep people fully addicted year round. I hear San Antonio has some team, but I dont even know their name.

Its like that guy trying to kill himself eating at McDonald's everyday. Lack of sports "taste buds" I guess.

I would like to compare the time "students" who are getting paid spend doing something football related. Its certainly growing larger. Its a job. More summer workouts are allowed which may make up time spent away from the classroom. I wonder if the majority actually take summer classes.

Playoffs appear to be undecided except we will have 16 teams.
So I humbly ask for the following.

1. If any teams get byes, let the highest seeded team have to choose the team they want to play (fluid bracket). And continue this with other seeded teams that get byes. Obviously the last team that gets a bye would not choose. If it turns out somehow that no team gets byes then please continue to use the "choosing the opponent" model.
2. Give the higher seeded teams home games until the semis so the bowl committee big wigs wont wig out.

Yeah that's pretty amazing even given the dilution of the PAC brand. Gonna be a nice weeknight league though I would personally welcome the Bobcats into the AAC.

The musical chairs leaving Memphis out of a P4 is a little baffling at this point. They're good at the sports that count.

There appear to be no further ambitions within the rest of the AAC teams right now including UTSA, which is fine. UTSA needs to break ground on a 7-10k arena before thinking about anything else.

Florida State getting their NIL contract verbiage ready:

A few schools CBS Sports spoke with for this story have language or have considered adding language that allows them to cancel or alter a player's dollar amount if they suffer an off-field injury doing an unsanctioned activity. Florida State features that language within its rev share contract drafts that it's sent to players and their representation.

But nobody CBS spoke with considered the way Florida State wrote the above injury provision as normal if the injury occurred in a football context.

"That's excessive," said an ACC Director of Player Personnel.

It's different from the NFL where athletes are employees and there are injury protections for players if they were hurt in organized activities and a stated process for medical second opinions and injury settlements.

And while an agent CBS spoke with expects Florida State to ultimately remove that stipulation from the contract, the way it's currently written gives FSU full control to adjust a player's salary when any injury occurs......"

College football will continue to be unequal just like soccer is on the highest levels. No draft in soccer either. But soccer does have transfer fees which could be an interesting idea.
Probably need to look at the soccer model closely. Minus the blood money from that is rampant in the Spanish League.
Also the effects are really being felt at the HS and even MS levels now. Soccer has its academies for the kids and the parents (of these prodigies). Dont think I like this aspect, but have not thought it through.
