Depending on Germany - Ecuador, the game could still mean a hell of a lot. If Germany doesn't win, they'll be fighting to avoid a side of the draw with Brazil, Germany and England, so that should be a prime motivator. And if not, there's always avoiding Brazil until the final, so I'd rather finish first than second.
