I haven't seen non-moldy strawberries there since I moved to the neighborhood). I miss Kroger.

I just got an amazing gift box from aunt who lives near D.C.

I had to chase the mailman down for it ( I missed him the first time around), but it was well worth it.

My aunt recently took a day trip to New York and while she was there bought me several lovely gifts.

I have never owned anything from NYC before.
Everything is so fashionable; items that Carie from "Sex and the City" would have.
My favorite presents: two exquisite beaded (small) hand bags, a green stone choker ( wearing it now :elephant ), and an elegant cream lace cami with subtle butterflies woven in the fabric.

Some time soon we all ought todress up and go out for a nice dinner some where.

Now should it be a mixed group or a girl's night out?

Oh my gosh, I could just cry for this poor girl Heidi from " the Hills"

Here is a recap for those of you not with it enough to have watched. :lol

The Hills is a real life, reality show. (Yes I realize that is a semi oxymoron.)

Anyhoo....

Heidi had moved to L.A. with her best friend Lauren ( star of the show) to go to college.
Lauren is the one with the Teen Vogue internship.

Lauren's life was working out but Heidi was feeling lost and was contemplating dropping out of school.

So Heidi lucks out and lands this interview to become an assistant with the area's top party planning firm. This is Heidi's dream job.

I liked Lauren in previous shows but she was such a witchy poo in this episode.

For starters, Lauren tells her co-worker ( Whitney?) that Heidi is awful at interviews and she bet Heidi wouldn't get the job.
Then when Heidi called all happy a few minutes later to say she had been hired, Lauren was totally disinterested.

First Lauren mocks Heidi and then she hangs up on her and starts singing " Beauty School drop out."

With friends like that... Geesh!
