And they also need to watch their record. If they have the worst record among the 3 division winners in the AL, that will give them a likely first round matchup with the Yankees. The Rangers have to finish better than the AL central winner in order to have homefield advantage in the first round. The wild card is going to come from the AL East and teams from the same division cannot play each other in the first round.

I bet a lot of them at the game bitched about the heat yet they left New York to come live in Texas because of the cheap prices of houses. Rangers should have won last night. You're given them way too much credit, to be a Yankee fan all you have to do is

1) Stand up when the Yankees take a lead and point to your shirt that says "World Champions"

2) Chant "Let's Go Yankees" when the rest of the crowd does

3) Brag about the fact that you have more titles than anybody else
