It's also a little hard to see how good Arch really is when he is playing behind 5 star lineman with 5 star running backs and throwing to 5 star receivers against lolutsa and Missy St.

last year they had a few games like this against crappy teams on par with miss st and nearly lost them. lots to work on, but also a lot to like from this game. the main concern I saw that isn't fixable is the lack of a monster body on the DL. they miss having a guy like tvondre sweat out there. otherwise, they are pretty solid all around personnel-wise.

Banks is awsome.
Tre Wisner was jumping around after a big run and Banks put a big thumb in his face "back to the huddle" we are calling a play quickly.
Then Banks proceeds to drive a LB off the field into and over the sideline.
Banks has started since his freshman season, and in that season he drove some of the best DEs to the other side of the formation including Will Anderson of Alabama.
Saban and company literally just moved Anderson to the other side wanting nothing to do with Banks.
Im sure UT has had better OTs and some point in college, I just cant name one.

Aside: I cant wait for the Aggie game when Banks will have to get either Scourton or Shemar Turner. True battles.

After watching the running plays in the Miss St. UT game I think the best RB on the field was on Miss St.

So I gotta give UT some credit for still being able to run the ball well in the 4th quarter (kind of like what we did to Alabama last year in grinding down the last 8 minutes). We have lost some significantly good RBs and the “healthy” RBs seem to be limping after multiple carries.

However this situation worries me when playing OU. OU tries so many different blitz formations it would be nice to inhibit their risk taking by gashing them on running plays. They have a seriously good defense. It would be nice to make them pay for their risk taking. Especially when their offense is trash.

They can be super confusing. And Our Oline can be confused. (even though its talented as well)
I did see that Oklahoma's best player on defense is wearing a neck collar now and he is not flying around like a mad man anymore.

In a game involving a rivalry like this we must play clean because we are better imo.

There's definitely some gamesmanship involved because it's recruiting, but it's looking like a legit possibility.

Turning defense into offense.
It’s exactly the kind of shit that they pull because their offense can only get a few big plays per game.

Yeah give Auburn the win due to yardage.
And change the other games Auburn has done this to a W as well.
Maybe smart and great at taking advantage of turnovers is a better description.

Point is we remain clean and we can beat them, and probably badly. Know that they will give up yardage to RB holding him up while trying to strip the ball. They teach this because they have to rely on it. It’s why guys on the dline are dropped into a comfy passing spots. Watch their games. Their LBs and safeties try this stuff and it can be taken advantage of.

Maybe their craftiness in winning games they should lose, starts with their defense is a better description. There is no Dillion Gabriel to dink and dunk us. So we gotta be smart. Unlike Jadon Blue in our last game. It’s definitely the type of defense that can turn a close game on its head.
