Jerry Hamilton said he might be closer to 6' 3" After seeing some pictures of him he looks heavier than 180 lbs. And he looks like he could easily get much more weight as he appears to be long tightly wound muscle. And if he is not done growing skeletally, he will probably have to move positions.
I know he wants to play CB. If he does choose us, and he adds the muscular weight like many of the other kids like him... He might get too big for safety as well, eventually. Thinking Overshown like.
I just want UT to make a reasonably timely decision on his position so he does not get stuck not knowing the fine points of any position and is merely an athlete.

Getting drafted high and then getting a second contract; more assurance in longer term income in football.
If they can’t build on their talent under certain college assistants, that’s not good.
Also the premium in the NFL is clearly on QBs and then LTs and then apparently DTs and CBs. So these positions possibly need to be coached properly at the college level.

But good WR and RBs can make a really big difference at the college level. Many more spots available on a college team for these types. In the NFL, not so much. Which makes this NIL stuff more interesting. Does position NIL follow NFL demand?

These kids are getting paid so they will used and abused not unlike an NFL team.

More playoff games is awesome and you'd receive no complaints from me as I'd happily watch them all. I love the FCS playoffs too.

My view is that 12 is sufficient to the point where nobody should be able to say "well, why was that team left out?"

I know people will bitch no matter how big the playoff gets ("why the fu** is Citadel not in there?!?"), but I think 12 takes care of all the favorites and a few underdogs being able to go at it.

As an example, I don't need to see a random MAC team thrown in there to feel like all of our bases are covered.

"I definitely have thinking to do," Williams told Horns247 about where things stand in his recruitment right after his OV. "I'm going to be back for another game (at Texas). This was an amazing weekend. It was so much fun. I definitely have some thinking to do."

"As soon as I got out of the car at the hotel, everybody was cheering, the energy is great here. It's a great place. First time being in Texas, it was very welcoming. I got to speak to every coach. Every coach said they really want me. Everything was great. I really loved it."

Not a surprise with the way DT recruiting is going so far, but OTF saying expect Texas to seriously pursue JJ Hanne of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.

He's from Germany originally and has only played football for two years, but Georgia offered him on the spot after he camped with them this summer.

He is likely to schedule an official visit to Texas this fall.
