I said it in the offseason: he needs to learn the Dirk fadeaway. He can shoot over anybody.

I think the pull up mid range jumper would help his game a lot because he still isn’t the best at finishing at the rim so the pull up would be nice for him. Not too mention folks are going to figure out he is either shooting the 3 or going to the hoop.

He is a decent ball handler overall and good for a big but he doesn’t have enough shimmy or advanced handle to really beat guys off the bounce. He beats most players because they are closing out in his shot or playing him to shoot the deep jumper. So using the quick first step and then driving half way for the mid range jumper works nice for him.

He also gotta use his left when finishing at the hoop more

I only got to see the second half but I was impressed with how much he looked like a ready made player rather than a WIP project.
A small sample size undoubtedly but he played with an elitist aura about him, and I mean that in absolutely a complimentary fashion.

I only watched the condensed game (will none of the GL games be broadcast "regularly" so everyone can watch? smh), but Luka's looking like a really different player, both compared to last season and his first stint in Austin. It really looks like he don't want anymore of the "small boys club" and is proving that he can dominate lower level competition. We'll see whether he keeps it up, but these two games have been extremely promising.

I only watched the condensed game (will none of the GL games be broadcast "regularly" so everyone can watch? smh), but Luka's looking like a really different player, both compared to last season and his first stint in Austin. It really looks like he don't want anymore of the "small boys club" and is proving that he can dominate lower level competition. We'll see whether he keeps it up, but these two games have been extremely promising.

I've been hesitant looking at guards just because if we look at this season, the guys who look like they securely have a spot in the line-up next year are: DJ, White, Vassell. Tre might be that fourth guy, and then the fifth...

You basically have to spread 96 minutes across five guys.

I mean, to me, Lonnie's job isn't looking safe. So if you're drafting someone like Keyontae, then you're probably moving on from Lonnie. Isn't this the guy that collapsed? That isn't a long term thing, is it?

I was looking at a few in the top 10, and Kuminga looks like a surefire star to me.

The guy I do see dropping is Scottie Barnes. Dude has nice physical tools, but his head is not there. He would be intriguing for the Spurs, but would probably take a few years until he gets on the main team due to his lack of an outside shot. I'd still take Franz over him.

Luka’s minutes are really high. And good for his conditioning as he was playing out of breath early this season. I still want him stronger defensively as he said he wanted to become a better defender as that would get him minutes in the big team. But his offense is looking really good.

Thanks for the Vids Dejounte - Starting to really like this cat he is very athletic likes to play defense and has no problems playing above the rim. I think he can be a good project he just needs to work on his 3 ball and mid range game but he is really good in a lot of other areas and definitely plays to his height

Just doesn't know how to be happy for his teammates and find his spots later on in the game. Feels like he's playing with pressure to have good stats instead of just naturally playing well.

Tre is gaining respect in the bubble. The broadcasters keep saying he's the best PG in the bubble. His vision is amazing. His shots are now going in. The guy is dominating GLeague. Just heads and shoulders above the rest.

He would get shots if HE MOVED AROUND ON OFFENSE MORE. Stop playing lazy and run around screens, get open. He's always being spoonfed the ball. Seems that's the only way he prefers it. Then pouts when it doesn't happen.
