I get this feeling you get off seeing how many grown ups you can bug in a 24 hour period, huh? The minute somebody..."go away retard"...you cum all over yourself, huh?

So you can't run that fast.

OK.

As the freak cums all over himself, ha~~~~~

I was a sprinter/running back shorty, with far more speed than Peyton Hillis ever had and being into physical fitness for about 40 yards I haven't lost a step, yes I don't have my 100 speed endurance anymore. Due to lack of endurance training for that event.

Looking at tonights game....

The Bengals are a great home team, one of the best. But.....they have sucked in these "only game going on" "spots".

There is this little gem....Browns 4-0ATS last 4 on Thursday nights. And they are 3-1ATS last 4 vs Cincy. Now add how the Bengals play in night games.

Sure looks like the Browns plus the number is the play. But.....the Bengals are 12-0-1 since 2013 at home. They are great at home.

So we have a conflict here. I never bet a conflict, yep....pass.

Check out Bengal back Jeremy Hill tonight, cat is a stud. Also keep an eye on Terrance West with the Browns another stud.

A few things...

If Jerry Jones let's Romo play vs Jags he's stupid, a rich idiot. He actually thinks they can't beat the lowly Jags without Romo? The Jags can't stop the run, so what's that tell us?

The Niners are losing it, no intensity at all. I blame Kaerpernick, the guy is not a leader and too "punkish".

How RW has done what he has without great receivers..??? Imagine a Gronk, Graham on the Seahawks.

Big Ben needs to start being talked about as being among the best ever. A top 15 ever.

I'll harp on this again.......stop freaking out over "a" game or even "a" season, it's......rookie! The perfect example of this was that KC vs Pats game. It was...THE PATS SUCK!!!!!...BRADY IS DONE!!!!!!!.....hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on people, damn!!!! AND...if you recall the Chiefs lost to....Tennessee.

It's a long NFL season, there are going to be games where a team simply isn;t into it....ok? It has....ZERO....to do with anything else. So slow the fuck down...ok?

Flowers was a wide receiver and would be among the fastest white cats to play in the NFL. The fastest wide player ever to play in an NFL game was John Roderick a 9.3 guy out of SMU. He was a Dolphin but did little.

Johnny Manziel wouldn't make the top 20 fastest white NFLers.

Flowers was a runningback his last season at Tennesee and at times during his first season. Other than that you could call a wingback pretty much just an "athlete" in today's NFL...

But track speed doesn't mean jack shit when you're talking about football anyways. Flowers was a shitty runningback.

You sure great sprint speed doesn't work in football?

When Jim Brown was "Da Man" he was a fullback, his halfback was Bobby Mitchell a 110hh/100 champ out of Illinois.

The great Don Hutson, who was the first great receiver was a 9.8 guy for Bama when that was a great time.

When Jim Brown retired in stepped another HOF to be back....Leroy Kelly...he was a 9.5 guy while at Morgan St.

He wasn't an actual runningback because he had no football skills, but he was definitely a runningback in that he played the tailback position his senior year. Got 111 carries (their top runningback had 135). Problem was he just wasn't any good. He was an "athlete." That's why he didn't get drafted as a runningback. (He wasn't a good receiver either)

Not surprised about Tyreek Hill being the fastest in all of football. They don't stop talking about his track career when he's on the field.

And tbh, world class sprinters work at the college level because no one can fucking catch them. When you get to the NFL when you get against people nearly as quick as them that can also play football they get shut down. You can't be a one trick pony in the NFL. All I'm saying.

No shit people that can run fast tend to do good in a sport where speed kills...

You are only 100% wrong about "world class" speed and the NFL. You didn't see my list?

Curtis Dickey was world ranked....he was a 1000 yard rusher.
Bob Hayes was an Olympic gold medalist, he's in the HOF.
Cliff Branch ran 9.2 nine times while at Colorado, he belongs in the HOF.
Ollie Matson was an Olympic 400m medalist, HOFer.

So ya dumped....sprint speed means nothing in football.....smart move since you were totally wrong.

Richmond Flowers ran the ball about 10 times a game for one season, a season he also caught 20-30 passes. He was never just your basic running back, he was more a Percy Harvin type.

Look at Jamaal Charles with the Chiefs and Chris Johnson, both were stand out sprinters. As was Sammy Watkins with the Bills. Speaking of the Bills, Robert Woods the other receiver was the top 400m HSer in the nation. And their other receiver Marquise Goodwin was an Olympic long jumper.

What? I'll break it down my post for you. I can tell your autism is flaring up tonight.

Turns out guys that are good at football

This means people that are good at the sport of football. Not track and field. Football. I think you already got this part.

also have other football related skills

So these guys, who are good at football have other skills that are related to football. Example, their vision/lateral cutting speed/hands.

other than running fast.

This excludes "running fast" from that list of other football related skills. That means they can do something other than solely running quickly.

You posted a list of guys who had football skills other than playing fast. I wonder if that fits into the statement I made?

Now think shorty, how many games did Tennessee play his senior year? Do the math...ok?

None of that makes any sense since the NFL is choked full of former sprinters and always has been. So stop trying to get out from under being totally wrong, ok?

Check out his second run.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgYYaL--1qc

....the announcers couldn't believe it, Bo Jackson caught from behind....wow! That was a 400m cat out of SMU named Rod Jones, he was a legit sprinter. Like I said, the NFL is full of them.

Educate yourself slick, ok?

You don't run a single runningback in the Wing T, I thought you were a football expert... He was 2nd in carries for Tennesee that year, the top guy having 134 carries. (The guy after having slightly less than Flowers.)

Just don't say stupid shit like....sprint speed means nothing in football...ok? That is 100% wrong.

But....I;m not saying you have to have great speed to be a great footballer...ok? Emmitt Smith/Jerry Rice.....perfect examples.

Oregon once set a world record in 4x1 relay using three future NFL footballers and a world class Canadian.

When O.J.Simpson was at USC he ran on a world record 4x1 team with another NFLer to be Earl McCullouch, a fast white cat and a great Jamaican.

This could be sprinters...Travis Williams, Cecil Turner, Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, Buddy Young, Ollie Matson....etc

Richard Sherman, Russell Wilson doing commercials......5-3

There's Kaepernick doing TV spots, he's sucking.

Cam Newton doing all that TV stuff, look at him now.

I know......what about Peyton and Rodgers, ok, they make it work but they aren't young players either.

I have this theory that the other players the vets resent these guys making that extra $$$ and getting all the attention. Older guys like Manning/Rodgers have more respect.

That is totally/completely/100% wrong. You actually thought you run a single, ONE, runningback in the Wing-T. Anyone's who's played a lick of high school football in the last 30 years knows no one does that!

First off shorty, I never pulled any liberty in Vietnam so just like football you have no idea what you're talking about. And....where in the hell did you get this stupid idea 14 year old kids were allowed in the bars? Dude, hahahaha!!!!!!

Flowers caught over 1000 yards worth of passes while at Tenn, he never had a year where he caught less than 24 passes. At no time was he just a basic running back only, ok little man? He had 9 tds as a receiver, he had 7 as a RB. He lined up all over the place, like I said, think Percy Harvin not Marshawn Lynch.....ok?

Richmond McDavid Flowers Jr. Position: DB-WR
Height: 6-0 Weight: 180 lbs.

He left HS as a wide receiver, he spent most his Tenn career as "just" a wide receiver, he was drafted as a wide receiver. But....ended up playing cornerback. See ya learned something slick.

Now tell me again about how sprint speed means nothing, hahahaha!!!!!!! You do know that 40 times do decide draft status.....right? Let me guess....you didn't know that either.

You must feel pretty stupid trying to run.....sprint speed means nothing in football....and then seeing all those there because of that speed. The Raiders adored speed.

Have a wide receiver run a 4.65 and watch what round he goes in.

Since this is brought up all the time....

That young girl sex slave thing wasn't about the bar scene, ok? Those girls had to be 18, sure some 16 year olds had fake ID's but there was no way we saw 12-15 year old kids n the bars, ok? Those young girls were in the brothels/whore houses.....ok? I was into dancing/drinking and the bars.

Sounds more like a rb that was used in the passing game.

He was a wingback during most of his freshman year, his sophomore year and his junior year. He was definitely a tailback his senior year. This stuff isn't even debatable tbh. Like the UT website even says
Later that fall, he returned to the Vols and moved to tailback. (http://www.utsports.com/sports/m-footbl/fballamerica/flowers.htm)

He got a hundred more carries his senior year than he did his junior year too...

But yeah, a wingback is basically just an athlete position. You have to be able to block, carry the ball and catch it. Most teams back then just put their most athletic player in that position. Walter Payton played it. Basically you just got guys that had runningback like athleticism and told em to play a receiver-like position that blocked more often.

It was closer to Percy Harvin than like Lynch, but a little different. Since blocking was a primary duty of the position you had to be a bit bigger. Like OJ Simpson played wingback early on in his career in the NFL.

I don't know how football savant Avante doesn't know any of this :lol. Especially when every other high school offense plays the Wing T.

Here's the thing. You said a "a wingback is a WR."

Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that.

As someone who is a footballologist who studies football, I am telling you, specifically, in football, no one calls wingbacks WRs. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.

If you're saying "Receiver" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Receiver, which includes things from WRs to RBs to TEs.

So your reasoning for calling a wingback a WR is because random people "call the guys that catch balls receivers?" Let's get fullbacks and punt returners in there, then, too.
Also, calling Flowers a receiver or an Wingback? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A wingback is a receiver and a member of the receiver family. But that's not what you said. You said a wingback is a wide receiver, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the receiver family wide receivers, which means you'd call runningbacks, tight ends, and other position that could possibly catch a ball a receiver, too. Which you said you don't.

It's okay to just admit you're wrong, you know?

Russell Wilson has won....34 games so far in his career, what QB won that many in his first 46?

Who threw for more TD's?

Who won a SB in his first 37?

What QB had a higher passer rating after 46 games?

What QB ran for more yards?

Well?

Before Marshawn Lynch there was.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ui844C3TQVI

The greatest power back of all time is totally lost in obscurity today, and will never be found on any lists.

Mack "The Truck" Lee Hill was signed as a free agent by the Chiefs, he missed most his senior year at Southern U (small black school) injured. He was around 5-9 225 pounds and ran like a deranged camel. It was as if somebody on the defense had said something about his mama, he was that violent. He had little wiggle and not much speed, it was his attitude. In his two seasons he averaged over 5 yards a carry between the tackles.

Before the end of his second season Hill sustained a knee injury that required surgery, he died on the operating table.

How I missed "the spot" I don't know. The Steelers finally going back on the road after a three game home stand playing a bad team heading into a bye week. The Jets 4-1 the last 5 seasons ATS before a bye. When were the red hot Steelers going to cool down....yep, on the road vs a weakling.

Yep......DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Bears quit and I had a feeling they would, I should have played more.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Cards can win without Palmer.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Niners are still done, they got real lucky and they know it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dez Bryant is retarded.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jordy Nelson might be the best "white' receiver ever. Unlike Largent, Biletnikoff, Berry he can run after the catch. I can't count Don Hutson, he played against slow white DB's.
Ignore the above, Lance Alworth was the best white receiver. Welker plays a unique role.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have never seen a QB laugh more in a game than I did Aaron Rodgers last night.

He spent most of his career as a wingback, not a WR. He spent his senior season as a tailback. This isn't even disputable which is why this is so pathetic :lol

:lol I didn't even realize he played runningback in high school too, it makes sense though. You don't waste that kind of athleticism on a high school team on a guy who'll only touch the ball on a quarter of the possessions at WR. Especially not back then.

During his senior year, Flowers Jr. was a standout running back.
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/classic/bio/news/story?page=Flowers_Richmond

But tbh, I'll switch my position on this. Even though a Wingback is more RB than WR, (hence the back in the name, and playing in the slot versus out wide...) he wasn't a full time tailback until his senior season. He had already slowed down by then because of injury, and I don't know how his senior season track feats match up on the GWRBOAT (greatest white runningbacks of all time) list.

Here we go, the fastest "white" running backs ever.

Lindy Remigino won the Olympic 100m in 1952 he was a HS running back.

Marty Glickman was a 1936 Olympian and a running back while at Syracuse.

Glen "Mr.Outside"*** Davis Army was one of the nations top sprinters, he'd win the Heisman and played with the Lions.

9.3 SMU sprinter John Roderick was a running back but once on the Dolphins was switched to receiver, didn't work.

Heisman winner Billy Cannon out of LSU was a 9.5 sprinter, played with the Oilers/Raiders.

Tim Dwight who starred with the Falcons was a WR/RB while at Iowa, a 10.3 guy who would win the Big10 100m.

*** While at Army Davis played along side a big fullback Doc Blanchard. They were the original thunder n' lightnin' duo as far as the college game goes (Bronco Nagurski & Red "The Galloping Ghost" Grange with the Bears the first) Blanchard would also win a Heisman.

Hugh "The King" McElhenny (Washington/Niners) was a stud hurdler in HS and obviously had great speed.

"Jaguar" Jon Arnett (USC/Rams)was a long jumper who ran on the 4x1 team, could really motor.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Right now Oregon has a white receiver named Devon Allen, he won the 110 at not just the NCAA but our Nationals, he's a 13.16 guy which is "world class". He'd be in with another Oregon hurdler/receiver Jerry Tarr, he ran on a WR 4x1 team. Flowers belongs here also.
Ok, week 11
36-29 plus $1210
110 to win 100
Cleveland -3...no Arian Foster, no QB for Houston
NO - 7....won't lose two home games in a row.
GB - 6...Packers at home laying less than a TD?
NE + 3....Belichick/Brady coming off a bye.
Ariz-2....Lions 0-7 ATS last 7 vs Cards. Last season losing 21-24. 2012 losing 10-38.
Atl +2....gut feeling
Wash-7...gut feeling
So I have....Drew Brees,Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady in my corner. The team with the best record and a Browns team that's won 5 of 6 vs a Texan team that has won 2 of last 6.
Will be playing Pitt-6 on MNF just not sure for how much, yet.
Here I have the best MNF team in the league vs one of the leagues weaklings.
I realize ya lay in wait for me to have a bad week, haha!!!!!!!! Since week one...36-26 and I think by now it's pretty obvious I'm not going to be losing any $$$$$, remember I started off -330.
I do see both Denver and Chargers winning but simply too many points to lay in these "spots". That being Denver back to back on the road, Raiders 7-3ATS last 10 vs Chargers.
Yep, fun, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!
The Pats not really known for great backs, their all time rushing leader....Sam "Bam" Cunningham*** (brother of Randall)
Their first good back back in the Boston Patriot days was Larry Garron out of Western Illiois, a speed guy. Big Jim Nance a former Syracuse wrestler was their first 1000 yard rusher. They did have Curtis Martin and Corey Dillon but they did their best work on other teams.
***Story goes when Alabama came out west (with their alll white team) to play USC, Cunningham ran all over them. Bear Bryant the Bama coach knew right then things had to change in the south if they were going to compete on the national stage.
In the Belichick era they haven't really had full time feature backs... they've done a good job with spreading the wealth there. I remember in their early superbowl run Antoine Smith was a big factor but never piled on huge yards. Kevin Faulk was there for ages. Corey Dillon had a good run, Laurence Maroney was a failed experiment. But they've done well to shuffle around and get productivity when needed.
Jerome Bettis gained more yards than any Golden Domer.
Ricky Watters
Nick Pietrasonte...an old Lions fullback
Greg Bell
I said this back in his Baylor days.....RGIII will not make it in the NFL. Then after his good rookie season I thought I was wrong, nope....I was right. People forget that at Baylor his running ability was a biggie, defenses had to play that. We don't see that in the NFL. He also didn't throw into tight windows like what is needed at the NFL level. He pretty much just tossed (instead of throw) it out there for someone to run under. He wasn't throwing guys open. Now add his personality, that....me-itist.
There is a commercial he did in his rookie season that has him running and jumping and we see track times attached to this, times he never ran. Yet he allowed that bullshit to stand. And this..."world class"...hurdler thing is bullshit. The guy never even made the NCAA finals. He was simply a "good" Big12 hurdler, nothing "world class" about him. He has never .."I was just a decent hurdler".
He;s done now as a Redskins QB, you do not talk shit about your teammates like he did. That is the one thing no player can do and get away with it, and he won't.
I expect to see McCoy finish the season as the starting Redskins QB.Then next season either a vet brought in or someone drafted.
Which got me thinking about the SWAC running backs and the NFL.
How about...
Raiders...Clem Daneils, their first 1000 yard rusher, Prairie View
Bears...The great Walter Payton...Jackson St
Rams...Paul "Tank" Younger Grambling, the first player from the SWAC in the NFL. Willie Ellison a 1000 yd rusher, Texas Southern
Chiefs....Robert "Tank" Holmes and Mack "The Truck" Lee Hill, both out of Southern U, both signed on as free agents.
Bengals...Essex Johnson...Grambling
Chargers...Ricky Young...Jackson St
Oh yeah....Jerry Rice came out of this conference, Mississippi Valley State
As we know Terrance West came out of tiny Towson. So what other notable RB's came out RinkyDinky U?
Chris Warren...Furman/Seahawks
Wilbert Montgomery....ACU/Eagles
Dick Bass...UOP/Rams
Dave Meggett...Towson/Giants
Fred Jackson...Coe/Bills
Stump Mitchell...The Citadel
Joe "The Jet" Perry...Compton JC
Not sure we could call the Ivy League RinkyDinkyU.
The greatest NFL back to come out of an Ivy League school....Calvin Hill Yale, he was the first 1000 yard rusher for the Cowboys. A 25 foot long jumper.
How many playoff contenders need a running back? I'd think Tate would want to go with a good team, a place he is genuined to start.
He can only pick a team if he clears waivers.
The NFL needs to try some other system to determine the playoff teams. We need to see the best teams involved. Something we won't be seeing using the current method. No 7-9 teams belongs there, while some 10-6 team isn't.
I also think they need to stop playing inter conference games. There needs to be some mystery involved like it was back in the old AFL days. There was a lot of..."just how would the Chargers do vs the Rams" In a couple weeks we'll see the Patriots vs the Packers, that could be a SB preview, so if they meet up there......we have already seen the game. Where's the mystery?
Avante, I have a trend for you, my nigga..
Home dogs that are getting at least 8 points are 26-9 vs. the spread the past few years, tbh..
Once upon a time the strongest role a team could play was a small (3 or less) home dog, then it kind of dried up.
That is the kind of thing I try to search out and why yes there really is a science to this.
I do have a hard time playing dogs and it does hurt my game. I want the better QB, better team, at home. But....now I have to deal with a big number, something we don't see (usually) backing home dogs.
When we do see a number like that 8 we are going be seeing an elite team vs one of the weaklings. Not unlike Thursdays game with Chiefs at Raiders. It started off at Chiefs - 7.5.
Where did you come across that trend at?
Keep in mind a team will play one of these four roles...
HF...home fav
RF...road fav
HD...home dog
RD...home dog
You find a team that as a HF is 12-2ATS last 14 vs a team at 2-12 as a RD..... there's a play.
I know guys who only play division games, and that is a very smart way to go. You have a ton of trends/stats and will get a real effort.
Breaking down Packers at Vikes
Packers are 5-1-1 ATS last seven in this "spot'. Last time at Vikes...44-31. That was the game before Rodgers got hurt.
Little doubt this Packer team is better than that one while the Vikes are about where they were more or less.
Packers are plus a gaudy 105 as far as points go, the Vikes a weak minus 39.
Why not lay the number?
When we see a stat like that it is important to know the teams involved.
At this stage of a season it really does start coming down to QB play. I want to play Rodgers, Brady, Peyton, Luck, RW, Rivers, Brees.....the best I can. What are the odds of all of those guys losing ATS on the same weekend?
I also look for teams in a serious playoff hunt vs those out of it.
Kansas City Texans/Chiefs running backs.
The first star of the old AFL was a slick running back out of North Texas St named Abner Haynes. He was the leagues first rushing leader, one of those...multi purpose...types, he returned kicks and could catch the ball.
While Haynes was there they also had Curtis "The Count" McClinton out of Kansas, all he did was win the Rookie of the Year Award. A power back with some zip. He would be the first AFLer to score vs the NFL, yep, the first SB (wasn't called that then).
Heisman winner Mike Garrett was the first big name Chiefs running back, cat was quick and elusive.
Then there was...
Woody Green ASU
Ed Podolak Iowa
Warren McVea Houston
Robert "Tank" Holmes Southern U
Mack "The Truck" Lee Hill Southern U
The 1000 yard rushers
Tony Reed Colorado
Mike Garrett USC
Abner Haynes NTS
Priest Holmes Texas
Christian "The Nigerian Nightmare" Okoye
Larry Johnson Penn State
Joe Delaney NWLa
Jamaal Charles Texas....here we have a guy who could have been a "world class" sprinter if not for football. He had that kind of speed. He is the king of the 5 yard average, no player in NFL history matches his average per carry with the same amount of carries. A case can be made that he is the best back in the league right now.
I will add this....
The Raiders could match that when it comes to running backs.
week 12
40-32 plus $1280
Time to start factoring in the weather which doesn't help things any. But....it's also the time playoff contenders start getting real serious.
NE-7....Belichick/Brady at home in November....nuff said.
Miami +7....the Fish can rush the QB, the Broncos are banged up. Historically speaking the Dollphins are 4-0ATS last 4 in Denver.
Dallas-3.5....Dallas is one of the best Nov teams in the league. 40-24ATS as a fav. The G-men 11-28 as a Nov dog. The Cowboys 3-1ATS last 4 vs Giants.
Niners - 9...I hate to lay anything over 7 but here we have a Niners team knowing the Cards could lose in Seattle at home vs a Redskins team that sucks on the road, now add the RGIII factor. Can't ignore the Niners 6-2 in this "spot" either.
Packers-9....the stats/trends all say Vikes in this "spot" but how do we ignore Aaron Rodgers vs a rookie QB with that home field advantage in the playoffs a very real possibilty, so we'll see a motivated Packer team. Beat the Vikes 44-31 last season in Minnesota.
If I go 3-2 or better I'll be backing the Ravens on MNF, the Saints aren't all that and the Ravens are 5-1ATS last 6 coming off a bye week. Saints 8-7 as a HF on MNF, the Ravens 5-8 as a RD.
So I have Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers/Cowboys coming off a bye/a fucked up RHIII/a banged up Broncos team....on my side.
NE-7....Belichick/Brady at home in November....nuff said. Detroit has the best scoring D in the league. Won't be a blowout. Lions +7
Miami +7....the Fish can rush the QB, the Broncos are banged up. Historically speaking the Dollphins are 4-0ATS last 4 in Denver. You don't bet against Manning at home coming off a loss. Broncos -7
Dallas-3.5....Dallas is one of the best Nov teams in the league. 40-24ATS as a fav. The G-men 11-28 as a Nov dog. The Cowboys 3-1ATS last 4 vs Giants. Agree. This one I'm taking at Dallas -3.5
Arizona + 6.5...no team in the league has a better ATS record in 2014 than the Cardinals. A team that has won 6 in a row and 16 of their last 18 getting 6.5???? Exactly. The oddsmakers know something to give a 9-1 team a TD. LOLDrew Stanton. It's a bait job Avante! Seattle -7
Niners - 9...I hate to lay anything over 7 but here we have a Niners team knowing the Cards could lose in Seattle at home vs a Redskins team that sucks on the road, now add the RGIII factor. Can't ignore the Niners 6-2 in this "spot" either. You're being biased because you're a Niner fan. Line is too much. SF plays games close and Washington is a better team on the road. Pass.
Packers-8....the stats/trends all say Vikes in this "spot" but how do we ignore Aaron Rodgers vs a rookie QB with that home field advantage in the playoffs a very real possibilty, so we'll see a motivated Packer team. Beat the Vikes 44-31 last season in Minnesota. I agree even though Green Bay is 2-3 away from home this season, with only one of those victories coming by more than a field goal. GB -9
If I go 4-2 or better I'll be backing the Ravens on MNF, the Saints aren't all that and the Ravens are 5-1ATS last 6 coming off a bye week. Saints 8-7 as a HF on MNF, the Ravens 5-8 as a RD.
Broncos -9.5
Chargers -10
I don't think so. Thrilled to see you disagree with some.
NE at home in November is the strongest "spot" in the NFL. The Lions on the road not the same team. Oh yeah the Lions are 0-15 last 15 on the road vs winning teams.
Denver was 6-4 last season as a HF, what are they this season as HF?
The Skins were 1-5 as a RD in 2013, what are they in that "spot" in 2014?
So the Chiefs can kick the shit out of the mighty Patriots then lose to a winless Raiders.........anyone still not geting "spots"...?
This isn't LSU vs the SWAC where they win 100 out of 100 because the difference in talent is so huge, this is the NFL.....here all it takes is a few turnovers and the Jags/Raiders can beat anyone. So we look for 'spots" where a team has and advantage, yep just like Oakland had over the Chiefs. We could see that coming a mile away.
I won't be playing any of the Thursday games because I'd have to sit down and get involved, as we know with family over...can't do it. But.....the Lions at home coming off an embarrashing loss vs team that hasn't won three consecutive games since the first three weeks of 2013. Detroit 7-1ATS last 8 vs the Bears. Yep, perfect "spot" for the Lions to prowl.
Colin Kaerpernick sucks! He's lost two games all by himself.
The Rams are far better than their record, imagine this schedule....
Dallas
Niners
at Niners
at Arizona
Denver
at SD
And they did beat Seattle/Denver/Niners.....without a legit QB.
They also blew a few of those games late in the 4th when they had a comfortable lead all game(and got robbed by the refs vs. San Diego last week)..they've been competitive in nearly all of their games, pretty impressive considering their QB and their D-line's slow start..
Too bad the Rams don't play in the NFC South.
But...
The Dolphins are in the playoff mix, the Jets are not. The Dophins are plus over 60 when it comes to points, the Jets a woeful minus 110. The last two games the Dolphins have played at Jets....
2013 Miami 23-3
2012 Miami 30-9
Under Joe Philpen the Dolphins have owned the Jets in NY. Keep in mind those Jet teams were better than this one while the Dolphins weren't as good.
Will also play the over of 50 for 550 to win 500.
The Saints defense the reasoning there.
The password on those forums in one I picked. The password here is 8 numbers that was sent to me, 8 numbers I have written down on the side of the computor. I've never tried to memorize them, never had to.
arcxzB6s
Who remembers that? (yes those are made up but similiar)
I made the bet and have already gotten my $$$$. I'm showing this board how my first serious season of picking NFL games "here" is going. I mentioned making that Ravens play right here, if I hadn't done that then I wouldn't have mentioned it. I said I might take them and I did.
So 46-37 plus $ 2130 is where things stand.
Miami - 6.5 for 500 tonight.
You do not yank your starting QB in an NFL game during a game. He is there because of a decision you made. You don't embarassh him in front of team/fans like that. Dumb dumb move on the Browns behalf. Hell no Manziel isn't ready to play.....yet. So now what? Now you have a QB.....nervous.
Stupid move.
It's looking like the Seahawks now have a legit chance at winning the AFCWest. There are getting healthy as the Cards begin to fade without Palmer.
Being realistic...
Seattle
loses to Philly
beats the Niners at home
beats the Cards
beats the Rams at home
11-5
Cards
can they beat the Chiefs at home...hmmm?
could lose at St. Louis
could lose vs Seattle
could lose at Niners
Let's give them two wins, so...11-5 but lost twice to Seattle.
Players with some longevity of greatness don't go bad....ok? Sure they begin to age like we all do but to think the coaches don't see that and do what needs to be done......come on.
Carlos Hyde was brought in because he's a power guy like Gore, yep a 30 plus year old running back is past his prime. Time to start addressing that situation.
Guys like Drew Brees, Big Ben, Peyton are on the downside of great careers but nobody in the organisation is drafting their replacements, why not? They all have another couple/few years left and it's obvious.
NFC playoffs....
Packers
Eagles
Seahawks
Saints
Cards
Lions/Cowboys
AFC
Pats
Broncos
Colts
Bengals
Ravens
No he meant Miami (look at his posts on the page before this) But they didn't cover so he lost 550.
I misread your post a bit. But he has no standing to say he meant Jets +6.5.
I have the Jets - 6.5 tonight, will play 550 to win 500.
I noticed your...Avante Bet Tracker...thing sorta back fired didn't it? Not too much fun posting....plus $2130...is it?
a) we can't count your falsified picks on that monday night game... for all we know you've made all sorts of losing bets on other websites that weren't posted here. we can't count those against you, and so by those standards we can't count those wins for you. For those are 2 "wins" you are counting (one for the game, one for the over/under), you bet 550 for 500 apiece. i have to deduct those
that puts you at a total of 44-37, plus $1,230
b) you lost your pick tonight, where you laid $550 to win 500. that leaves you at a new total of:
44-38 (53.4%), plus $680
Ok the last 4 weeks....ATS.
Now it's all about the best QB at home. With a few exceptions. Playoff wannabes at home with the better QB.
If you would have simply played.
GB
NE
Indy
Seattle
at home ATS would have gone....19-5.
Now those weak teams totally out of it on the road like...
Jax
NYJ
Ten
Caro
NYG
try...8-22 ATS.
That's where ya zero in on in December. Good QB's with playoff aspitarions at home and sucky team going nowhere on the road.
Just this week...
GB at home covered
Indy at home covered
Caro on road...nope!
NYG on road...nope! A dumb play!
Tenn on road...nope!
That's five winners simply playing that trend.
That trend I mentioned to you won again tonight, as we discussed a few days ago..
Home dogs at 7.5 or higher are now 28-9 in the past 37 games..big trend, hope we get a few more shots at some of those this season..I only bet 1 unit, sadly, was too scared to bet more on Geno Smith..
I can see you get it and understand the "science" of it all. It is comical how some simply don't get it.
I bucked that trend and a couple others because I did see a Dophins team all jacked up over being in the playoff mix vs a lowly 2-9 team with....Geno Smith.
Well the Dolphins were totally flat and the Jets ran and ran and ran totally taking Geno out of the game. Yep...I fucked up and am done taking road teams.
Week one....the Steelers blow a 21 point lead, and the Jets go for two. I end up losing all three games (simply fucked up with Carolina) BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....330 in the hole. Then I start chopping away....BOOM!!!!!!...plus over 2100. Now think stupid, yep....EXPERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If ya knew anything about this at all you'd know that 60% is amazing. Being an idiot, you don't.
Check out these handicappers, some of the best in the country. Look at their winning %.
Sure you'll have that season where things just went your way, ok....ya got lucky and hit over 60%. But....nobody...does it on a consistant basis it cannot be done. This isn't the NCAA, all it takes in the NFL to fuck up everything....a couple turnovers.
in the interest of fairness, i'm only counting what you shared here in the timely manner. think of spurstalk like a bookie. you cant tell a bookie "i promise, i made that play yesterday!"
you talked about picking baltimore... but you CLEARLY said "if i go 3-2 or better I'll be backing the Ravens" in this post. i'll put it in bold for you
week 12
40-32 plus $1280
Time to start factoring in the weather which doesn't help things any. But....it's also the time playoff contenders start getting real serious.
NE-7....Belichick/Brady at home in November....nuff said.
Miami +7....the Fish can rush the QB, the Broncos are banged up. Historically speaking the Dollphins are 4-0ATS last 4 in Denver.
Dallas-3.5....Dallas is one of the best Nov teams in the league. 40-24ATS as a fav. The G-men 11-28 as a Nov dog. The Cowboys 3-1ATS last 4 vs Giants.
Niners - 9...I hate to lay anything over 7 but here we have a Niners team knowing the Cards could lose in Seattle at home vs a Redskins team that sucks on the road, now add the RGIII factor. Can't ignore the Niners 6-2 in this "spot" either.
Packers-9....the stats/trends all say Vikes in this "spot" but how do we ignore Aaron Rodgers vs a rookie QB with that home field advantage in the playoffs a very real possibilty, so we'll see a motivated Packer team. Beat the Vikes 44-31 last season in Minnesota.
If I go 3-2 or better I'll be backing the Ravens on MNF, the Saints aren't all that and the Ravens are 5-1ATS last 6 coming off a bye week. Saints 8-7 as a HF on MNF, the Ravens 5-8 as a RD.
So I have Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers/Cowboys coming off a bye/a fucked up RHIII/a banged up Broncos team....on my side.
but you didn't go 3-2. you went 2-3. you won your Dolphins and Patriots picks, lost the Cowboys, Packers, and Niners
that means you didnt intend to pick baltimore here
I visited a bar up at my home at the Lake, the bartender is the guiy who I do my plays thru. He got me into this stuff years ago, he's an old HS football buddy. We started talking football he talked me into going ahead with that Ravens play and the over, plays he'd made. So I did but I was away from this computer so he let me get on his, I get here and I'm logged off for some unknown reason. And I don't have this password written down. If not for bogus weather reports add another 200, if not for a computer fuck up, add another 1000 only to lose 500 so only add 500.
I showed you guys how to win $$$$$$ vs the NFL point spread and it isn't easy.
Now I'm done "here' for this season. I said I'd make my legit $$$$$ plays here this season and I did. It was fun.
I'll end the betting aspects of it with this advice....
December is the easiest month to make $$$$$$, now you will get 100% effort (playoff teams), something we don't always see early on. So you'll be looking at that better QB/home play. Now is the time to play those stud QB's as HF's. Put your $$$$ in the hands of Rodgers, Peyton, RW, Luck, Brady now, go against the weaklings like Jax, Tenn, NYG, TB on the road.
Good luck!
For the millionth time, it's the win/loss record I'm talking about, because that's what you were originally bragging about for the better part of the last three years. You're only moving the goalposts to money now because the record isn't favoring you.
