All Hail Biden!
If you’ve never been in a major accident and you don’t have a stack of speeding tickets to your name, you should pay the lowest possible rate on your car insurance, right?
Not necessarily. Insurance companies use a whole host of factors to decide what you pay, many of which have nothing to do with how you behave behind the wheel.
Sound strange? That’s why the Biden administration is taking a hard look at how auto insurers set their premiums — an investigation that could have a dramatic effect on how much you pay.
In May, the Federal Insurance Office (FIO), a part of the U.S. Treasury Department, said it would launch a study on the affordability of car insurance, particularly in low- and moderate-income areas, and the impact that “non-driving” factors have on premiums.
Critics of this system believe the use of non-driving factors is unfair and discriminates against lower-income and minority drivers — one of the main reasons the government is taking a look.
The FIO’s investigation follows a February CNN town hall meeting in which President Joe Biden ridiculed the fact that some people pay higher insurance premiums because of where they live.
Those factors include credit history, homeownership status, marital status, occupation, education and where you live.
Insurance companies have relied on such information for a long time. They say these factors are closely tied to a driver’s risk of making a claim, and thus ensure people who should pay more do pay more. That allows people who pose lower risks to pay less.

Trump left behind a 'political quagmire' for Biden with his disastrous trade policies
Donald Trump's steel tariffs (https://www.politico.com/news/2021/09/06/steelworkers-biden-tariffs-503185) that saddled consumers with higher sticker prices on goods with businesses and has European trade partners urging him to roll them back.
While noting that Trump's trade policies put some steelworkers back to work -- and cost others their jobs --due to foreign imports burdened by the tariffs,
companies that were unhappy with Trump's decision are hoping Biden will reverse them.
Trump's tariffs on steel and aluminum (https://www.rawstory.com/2018/04/trade-war-backfire-steel-tariff-shrapnel-hits-us-farmers/) created pain for American farmers, with the report stating that they boosted the "costs for equipment and infrastructure and causing some farmers and agricultural firms to scrap purchases."
the tariffs had backfired (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-steel-insight/trump-steel-tariffs-bring-job-losses-to-swing-state-michigan-idUSKBN26U161) and led to job losses that may have contributed to his 2020 re-election defeat.
higher steel prices resulting from the tariffs dented demand from the Michigan-based U.S. auto industry and other steel consumers.
And the Trump administration has never followed through on an infrastructure plan."
"The Biden administration understands that simply lifting steel tariffs without any solution in place, particularly beyond the dialogue, could well mean layoffs and plant closures in Pennsylvania and in Ohio and other states where obviously the impact would be felt not only economically but politically,"
political minefield Biden and his trade and labor advisers are entering.
the steelworkers don't represent a huge number of voters because there's just not that many of them, but they are important voters in important states,"
passing and signing the infrastructure bill could soften the blow for the president if decides to roll back Trump's tariffs.

That's because some places have more car accidents than others. I insure 4 cars - when college address is listed, it's less than when my S. Florida home address is listed. And that's with 2 college aged, male students with relatively new licenses in north Florida vs 2 older, experienced people who haven't had accidents/tickets in ages in South Florida. This stupid Biden comment is similar to people paying higher homeowner premium because of where they live. What does he not understand about RISK?

Political considerations overrode science and alienated scientists, another point of continuity with Trump.
It also looks like the Biden Administration could miss their Sept 20 booster rollout
Former officials say the White House jumped the gun by announcing the September 20 date before booster shots had been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration and recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention…
The issue has caused such tension within the administration that two senior FDA officials last week announced their retirements from the organisation’s vaccine department.
Allies of Marion Gruber and Philip Krause said the two had been upset by the way in which the FDA’s role had been undermined over several months.
The FDA declined to comment on the retirements, but one former administration official said: “Those resignations were shocking. And with cases near record highs and booster shots about to be rolled out, they come at the worst possible time.”

‹According to one official, Moderna produced inadequate data for the FDA and CDC to approve the third dose of its vaccine, and the FDA has requested additional data that is likely to delay those boosters into October. Pfizer, which is further along in the review process, in part because of data collected from the vaccine’s use in Israel, is still expected to be approved for a third dose for all by Sept. 20.https://www.wric.com/health/coronavirus/plan-to-start-covid-boosters-by-sept-20-may-be-limited-to-pfizer-shots/

sadly, it appears this was Biden's plan to beat COVID
So the Administration, having put all its chips on the magic vaccines, can only double down on them and hope they work well enough (or they get lucky and contagion rates wane as the public increases its level of precautions) that infections fall off enough for them to escape blame. But the flip side is while not all that many get worked up at old people dying, even hale and hearty elderly who could well have lived a decade longer, kids perishing or suffering from Long Covid or other morbidities won’t be well tolerated.https://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2021/09/us-as-failed-state-covid-booster-shot-mess.html

the announcement of Biden's plan to fight COVID has been announced
US President Joe Biden (https://www.scmp.com/knowledge/people/joe-biden?module=inline_pop_up_no_uuid_non_article&pgtype=article) on Thursday will present a six-pronged strategy intended to fight the spread of the highly contagious coronavirus Delta variant and increase US Covid-19 vaccinations, the White House said.
The United States, which leads the world in Covid-19 cases and deaths, is struggling to stem a wave of infections driven by the variant even as officials try to persuade Americans who have resisted vaccination to get the shots. Rising caseloads have raised concerns as children head back to school, while also rattling investors and upending company return-to-office plans.White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters travelling with Biden aboard Air Force One on Tuesday that he will lay out the strategy “working across the public and private sectors to help continue to get the pandemic under control”.https://www.scmp.com/news/world/united-states-canada/article/3147962/coronavirus-joe-biden-outline-plan-curb-delta

Psaki Defends Mass Firing of Trump Holdovers Like Kellyanne Conway:
They Stood By Trump as He ‘Supported an Insurrection’
Jen Psaki added a dramatic dimension to the administration’s decision to oust about a dozen Trump holdovers from various advisory boards, including the likes of Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer.
Biden administration’s decision to seek the ouster (https://www.mediaite.com/biden/biden-administration-tells-kellyanne-spicer-and-other-ex-trump-officials-to-quit-military-advisory-boards-or-be-fired/) of 11th-hour Trump appointees, which

Psaki added “I will say that there are some people, of course, on these boards, who have supported or stood by silently while their former boss supported an insurrection. That’s not really okay with us either.”

Thank you President Biden. Greatest diplomat ever!
At least 200 Afghan dual nationals, including Americans, leave from newly reopened Kabul airport.
The first international commercial flight out of the Afghan capital since last month left on Thursday evening with around 200 dual nationals aboard, marking a reopening of the airport after it was damaged in the chaos following the Taliban takeover.
Roughly 200 people — including about 30 Americans — were granted permission to leave the country Thursday, as the airport was declared repaired and ready for some commercial flights.
The manifest for the Qatar Airways flight granted permission for 211 passengers to leave from Kabul, according to diplomats in Kabul who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media. It was not immediately clear how many passengers made it to the airport to board the flight, but footage showed a group of men, women and children boarding the plane.

Former Trump official says she was told to withhold news of troop injuries in Iran attack
Trash's White House asked her to delay and minimize reports that U.S. troops had suffered traumatic injuries from an Iranian missile attack last year in Iraq.
Alyssa Farah, who was press secretary for the U.S. Department of Defense at the time, said
the Pentagon initially told Trump there had been no casualties in the Jan. 8, 2020, strike,
but she said the White House then applied pressure to make that appear true even after it became clear some of their injuries were serious,

Something something something that ducks thinks sounds smart
Here are the trump quotes where he said covid would disappear, so you know he lied to you.
You know, a lot of people think that goes away in April with the heat — as the heat comes in. Typically, that will go away in April.
Feb 10, 2020
China is working very, very hard. I have spoken to President Xi, and they’re working very hard. And if you know anything about him, I think he’ll be in pretty good shape. They’re — they’ve had a rough patch, and I think right now they have it — it looks like they’re getting it under control more and more. They’re getting it more and more under control. So I think that’s a problem that’s going to go away.
Feb 25, 2020
…when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.
Feb 26, 2020
It’s going to disappear. One day — it’s like a miracle — it will disappear. And from our shores, we — you know, it could get worse before it gets better. It could maybe go away. We’ll see what happens. Nobody really knows.
Feb 27, 2020
I don’t think people are panicking. I said last night — we did an interview on Fox last night, a town hall. I think it was very good. And I said, ‘Calm. You have to be calm.’ It’ll go away.
March 6, 2020
We’re prepared, and we’re doing a great job with it. And it will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away.
March 10, 2020
You know, we need a little a separation until such time as this goes away. It’s going to go away. It’s going to go away.
March 12, 2020
Stay calm. It will go away. You know it — you know it is going away, and it will go away. And we’re going to have a great victory.
March 30, 2020
It’s going to go away, hopefully at the end of the month. And, if not, hopefully it will be soon after that.
March 31, 2020
It is going to go away. It is going away.
April 3, 2020
It did go — it will go away.
April 7, 2020
But a lot of movement and a lot of progress has been made in a vaccine. But I think what happens is it’s going to go away. This is going to go away. And whether it comes back in a modified form in the fall, we’ll be able to handle it.
April 28, 2020
It’s going to go. It’s going to leave. It’s going to be gone. It’s going to be eradicated. And it might take longer. It might be in smaller sections. It’ll be — it won’t be what we had. And we also learned a lot.
April 29, 2020
And I think we’re doing very well on the vaccines but, with or without a vaccine, it’s going to pass, and we’re going to be back to normal.
May 5, 2020
Because, you know, this virus is going to disappear. It’s a question of when. Will it come back in a small way? Will it come back in a fairly large way? But we know how to deal with it now much better. You know, nobody knew anything about it, initially. Now we know we can put out fires.
May 6, 2020
Well, I feel about vaccines like I feel about tests. This is going to go away without a vaccine. It’s going to go away, and it’s — we’re not going to see it again, hopefully, after a period of time. You may have some — some flare-ups and I guess, you know, I would expect that. Sometime in the fall, you’ll have flare-ups maybe. Maybe not. But according to what a lot of people say, you probably will. We’ll be able to put them out. You may have some flare-ups next year, but eventually, it’s going to be gone. I mean, it’s going to be gone.
May 8, 2020
We think we’re going to have a vaccine in the pretty near future. And if we do, we’re going to really be a big step ahead. And if we don’t, we’re going to be like so many other cases, where you had a problem come in, it’ll go away — at some point, it’ll go away. It may flare up, and it may not flare up. We’ll have to see what happens.
May 15, 2020
So I think that’s — but even without that [a vaccine or therapeutics], you know, at some point this stuff goes away and it’s going away.
June 15, 2020
I always say, even without it [a vaccine], it goes away.
June 16, 2020
if you look, the numbers are very minuscule compared to what it was. It’s dying out.
June 17, 2020
But I will tell you, we’re very close to a vaccine, and we’re very close to therapeutics, really good therapeutics. And — but even without that — I don’t even like to talk about that, because it’s fading away. It’s going to fade away.
June 17, 2020
And it is dying out. The numbers are starting to get very good.
June 18, 2020
And I think we are going to be very good with the coronavirus. I think that, at some point, that’s going to sort of just disappear, I hope.
July 1, 2020
I’ll be right eventually. I will be right eventually. You know I said, ‘It’s going to disappear.’ I’ll say it again. It’s going to disappear, and I’ll be right.
July 19, 2020
Well, the virus will disappear. It will disappear.

And frankly, you know, we’ve had a tremendous — a tremendous market, you and I have talked about that, the stock market. Think of it, we’re almost back to where we were, and we’re still in the pandemic, which will be going away, as I say, it’ll be going away. And they scream, how you can you say that?
July 21, 2020
We’re gonna beat it, yeah. We’re going to beat it. And with time, you’re going to be it — time. You know, I say, it’s going to disappear. And they say, ‘Oh, that’s terrible.’ He said — well, it’s true. I mean, it’s going to disappear. Before it disappears, I think we can knock it out before it disappears.

President Biden has withdrawn US troops from Afghanistan, leaving a vacuum with the country's allies the Taliban has since filled. The insurgent organisation that claimed power after retaking Kabul over the weekend is now on the cusp of forming a government. As the west's Afghan allies risk severe retribution, much of the blame has landed at Mr Biden's feet, which will soon make itself clear through his already suffering approval rating.

18 Trump appointees have either resigned or been terminated from military service academy boards, White House official says.
Eighteen Trump administration appointees serving on the advisory boards of military service academies have either resigned from their positions or were terminated, following a request from the Biden administration earlier this week, a White House official said Friday.
The appointees had been serving on the advisory boards of the Air Force Academy, Naval Academy and U.S. Military Academy at West Point, with six on each board, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.
Among the Trump appointees were former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, former White House press secretary Sean Spicer and former national security adviser H.R. McMaster.
On Wednesday, the White House defended the move, arguing that it was about qualifications and values, not politics.

Fox News Accuses Biden of Using Federal Government to Improve Country
WASHINGTON —Calling President Joe Biden “an authoritarian dictator of the most reprehensible kind,”
Fox News has accused him of using the power of the federal government to improve the country.
“Joe Biden came into office claiming that he wanted to be the President of all the people,” Sean Hannity said.
“Now, however, his real agenda has become clear:
he wants to increase Americans’ life expectancy.”
“How long one lives should be a personal choice,” Hannity continued.
“But not if Joe Stalin-slash-Biden has anything to say about it.”
Tucker Carlson agreed, arguing that Biden’s push for a
$3.5 trillion spending package “is no more and no less than a totalitarian dictator’s plot to raise the nation’s standard of living.”
“To those of you who think I’m being an alarmist, let’s learn a lesson from history,” he said.
“This is exactly like what happened in Germany under Angela Merkel.”

citing the old Supreme Court case Jacobson v. Massachusetts (https://www.oyez.org/cases/1900-1940/197us11).
"For 105 years, the Supreme Court has made it very, very clear that
they endorse vaccine mandates with regard to public health and particularly critical public health issues.
105 years ago it was smallpox.
And one state government actually forced a smallpox vaccination on its population.
There was an action, an appeal to the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court said, look.
Public safety, public health warrants government action.
That is the essence of our society.
If government can't take action on behalf of the people with regard to public health,
then what good is the society?"
https://www.rawstory.com/robert-reich-vaccine-mandates
Mr Reich, the corrupt SCOTUS6 respect no stare decisis. e.g., Citizens United nullified 100 years of precedents that corporations AREN'T people.

Anytime we contest a Dem action the Dems trot out the same Tired Old Shit Bags to assure one and all that our legal action doesn't stand a chance in hell of affecting the action. See, what this does is sends word ahead to the (courts & judges) that CNN has their back should they rule in the CNN's/mother fucker Biden's behalf.

Is there a major religious group in US that is opposed to the vaccine?
Not jewish religion, not catholic religion, not protestant religion, not muslim religion, not jehovah’s witnesses, not christian scientist.
Is it just the Dutch Reformed Church?

President Joe Biden commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States on Saturday with visits to each of the sites where hijacked planes crashed in 2001, honoring the victims of the devastating assault.
Trump, a divisive figure who did not attend any of the three Sept. 11 tributes, appeared instead at a friendly police precinct near Trump Tower in Manhattan.

He's got much to gain scuttling all the Dem business, rewarded now and after the Senate. He wants no re-funding of the IRS.
and will lose many $Ms if he votes with the Dems. How can the Dems counter that?
MSNBC found Manchin in early 2021 wanting a $4T infrastructure deal, he was probably telling the oligarchy he was open to be bribed, and he was bribed.

Murdoch Media, GOP Fabricate Tale Of White House Cutting Biden’s Mic
In Biden's schedule from Monday (https://twitter.com/ddale8/status/1437398212319535105) the video feed of his briefing with federal and state fire agencies in Idaho is designated as "Out-of-Town Pool Spray at the Top."
That means that the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smPWmFkqLSg) presented online and fed to television outlets was always intended to include only the comments from Biden and other officials made before the start of the event, not the entirety of the meeting.
"Translation of 'pool spray at top' -- reporters will hear some opening remarks and then leave as the president begins to engage in the briefing," noted (https://twitter.com/GlennKesslerWP/status/1437800763405778944?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5 Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1437800763405778944%7Ctwgr% 5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonpost.com%2Fpol itics%2F2021%2F09%2F14%2Fjames-risch-anthony-blinken-microphone%2F) Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler.
CNN fact checker Daniel Dale tweeted (https://twitter.com/ddale8/status/1437799828298379264),
"Prompted by a Republican National Committee tweet,
right-wing media covered this like the White House was nervously censoring Biden as he went off script.
In fact, as you've probably seen, it's entirely normal for the press to be ushered out/the cam to be shut off mid-meeting."
the circularity of the entire episode:
the Republican Party claiming that ordinary operations are somehow an example of a White House feeling the need to shield the president from his own words;
right-wing outlets Fox News and the New York Post boosting the false claim;
a Republican senator calling the false story "widely reported" and
asking a Cabinet secretary to confirm it during a Senate hearing;
and Fox then picking up the hearing as news.

Republicans Reeling As Nearly 2/3 Of Voters Support Biden’s Build Back Better Plan
A new poll reveals that 62% of voters support President Biden’s Build Back Better plan.
by a margin of 64%-24, likely voters support the infrastructure part of Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Plan. These numbers include 79% of Democrats, 66% of Independents, and 47% of Republicans.
Sixty-two percent of voters support the reconciliation part of Build Back Better. 85% of Democrats, 58% of Independents, and 39% of Republicans support the second part of the plan.
The most supported part of the plan is investing in long-term care, with 79% support. The second most popular is modernizing school buildings and the electrical grid (73% and 74%), followed by allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices.
The least popular piece of the plan is expanding the child tax credit, and even that has net (+9) approval of 50%-41%.
