GZ said he saw TM at one point just standing on the grass near a residence looking around, in the pouring rain. Not illegal, but certainly suspicious.
Like I said earlier, GZ wasn't on watch at the time. He was acting as a concerned citizen trying to get the location of a suspicious person so he could relay that info to the police. Upon being told by the police dispatcher that they don't need him to follow the suspect, he replied "OK", turned around and headed back to the truck.
You watched the video so you know what GZ said happened after that. He didn't ID himself as a NW volunteer probably because he wasn't officially on duty at the time, and also TM didn't give time to say much, sucker punching soon after they met.

Yeah, I saw that. But arguably this confrontation doesn't start if little George does what he's told, doesn't follow this guy, and let actual professionals handle it.

But beyond that, AFAIK, no witness can conclusively say what happened and who started what as far as the actual confrontation. That works better for the guy that's still alive. The other guy can't tell his side of the story.

Lets look at the facts irrespective of what zimmerman has said.

1. zimmerman's vehicle was parked on the curve of the street almost near the entrance of the unit of townhomes where the shooting occurred.

2. at 7:11:33 pm zimmerman tells the non emergency operator that martin is fleeing into the town homes to which george admits to in that direction that martin was heading.

3. 7:16-7:17 pm Rachel makes the last call with trayvon before the phone went dead and the fight started around this time.


What we know is that the shooting occured near the mouth of the entrance of the townhomes close to zimmerman's truck. That's 5 min's that passed between the time zimmerman lost sight of martin and the fight occured.

If you claim that zimmerman was the one who initially agressed. then why did the confrontation happen closer to his vehicle, once martin already took off. This evidence is consistent with GZ's claim that TM came back to confront him as he was walking back to his car after walking further to look for the street sign on the adjacent street. If Zimmerman followed martin any further, the confrontation would have either happened earlier than 5min after martin got away, or near the house of the Martins.

Seeing how we both been watching the same trial and you continue to bring up distortions that have already been clarified, shows that you have no interest in real justice. You're an example of an irrational person that is caricaturized in your culture.

IMO this whole thing never would have happened if both people acted intelligently and civil. It took stupidity on both sides.

GZ never should have stalked the kid. There was no legitimate reason to.
GZ should have told TM what his business was because he lacked any reasonable suspicion to withhold his identity.
TM shouldn't have initiated physical confrontation, especially in a State that has stand your ground law. He should have been more diplomatic (ie why are you following me).
TM never should have threatened GZ's life while he was beating him up. His threat is what triggered GZ to draw and shoot.

I don't know if Sanford Police Investigator Chris Serino is done testifying, but I'm hoping the defense gets a chance to ask him this question: "Well if the evidence to you showed that Zimmerman was telling the truth and was indeed defending himself, why did you charge him?". To which his answer SHOULD be " Special Prosecutor Angela Corey ordered me to". He should then be asked if he knows why she ordered it.

Her testimony that the injuries on the back of GZ's head were consistent with being impacted on the sidewalk ONE TIME was incredulous. If there were any inconsistencies in Zimmerman's story, they were inconsequential, so much so, the investigators weren't troubled by it. GZ thought he had told the dispatcher TM circled the car when in fact he hadn't mentioned it. Whoop Dee Freaking Doo. Somebody please tell me of any MAJOR inconsistencies in his story.
