Props to Jimbo he is kicking ass right now, I like seeing Texas high school guys stay instate. And since we don't play you guys, I'd rather see elite Texas kids go to A&M over Oklahoma.

Looking ahead to 2019, I see recruiting in this state is going to be a free for all. I hear Saban has already offered every junior in the state and we know that Jimbo is off to the races.

Texas and Oklahoma are going to get their share as well. I don't think anyone is going to run away with it like last year. As of right now, I'd put the aggys as the favorite to win the state, but no one is going to get 12 of the top 15 like Texas did.

As of right now I don't even know what needs Texas in the coming cycle. More offensive and defensive linemen but that is every year. We got our QB but I'm pretty sure Jimbo is going to whispering in his ear Jameis Winston. This coming year is going to be fun but probably an emotional roller coaster for everyone that follows recruiting in this state.

Forget my post from this morning. Tom Herman and Texas are back from the dead in this recruitment. The Longhorns are making a strong push for Jackson as we speak, and it looks like they're making some progress. We don't expect him to announce for at least another couple of hours, so this one is getting really interesting. We'll have more details soon.

Man the Aggies had a really good "off" year.

We got our main men so I'm good.
If we can get the team to perform I think we will be fine.
If not, Jimbo might just rule.

Again, I totally don't get how Baylor ends up with a class ranked in the 30s and TT is a page down?

When Baylor/Briles had that first kid get in trouble, and it was basically proven that the Boise St. coach at the time had warned Briles and said maybe you can get the kid to work at your school, he's from Texas etc... and Briles denied ihe was told? I believe it was Harson gave ESPN and other outlets the letter he wrote Briles!
The kid had attacked a girl I believe, anyways; My cousin and I said Briles is so gone. Two years + later, to our astonishment; and after fighting tooth and nail.....

Baylor actually puts quite a few kids into good Med schools (like FB will be attracted) but seriously, it's Waco topped off with admin that is stubborn as hell... I too am at a loss. Are they just telling the kids they have cleaned it up and there are starting spots wide open and then blindfolding the kids until they get on campus? The denials so blantantly uncaring, right after PSU. Their coach just walked, wtf..... Are they pulling a Louisville with girls?

On another note, this maybe Gary Patterson's best rated class. If any team should draw attention for coaching kids up, TCU.

i read something about it may tie into the fact that A&M also signed 2 RBs yesterday and that this may actually be the position that Jackson thought he was being recruited to play. it's just speculative though.

If the Baylor coach stays for more than 4 years, I think he will bring them back to the same level that Briles had them. He is a very good coach he just needs time to distance himself and the program from the rape.
