So I went to a Cowgirl forum for some more lulz, and here are a few gems:

Having no running game doesnt allow Romo to be a game manager.

He threw the picks but there were 10 other guys who could of made a tackle to save the pick 6's.

People here tend to think that replacing a quarterback will automatically make us better. If that project fails, we could be set back even further. A quarterback of Romo's caliber is really hard to come by. I'm sorry, but if anybody thinks that replacing the quarterback at this point is a good idea, you are mistaken.

lol, gladly. Romo is still the QB I want leading this team. The Cowboys offense needs a running game. That's really what this all boils down to. It all starts up front. Our offensive line is getting better, but they are still clearly a work in progress. In time, we'll see how much better they improve in the run blocking department as our young guys get stronger and more experienced.

Knowing Romo he will come back with an amazing game against the pats.

I disagree, Romo is still the guy, he's out there playing with Broken ribs and our entire team is hurt. I still think we win the division pretty handily with this team.

Another good thread discussing Rob Ryan's brain fart when he said he preferred Miles Austin and Dez Bryant over Megatron:

Calvin Johnson doesn't even crack the top 20 in receiving yards this season. Miles Austin is ahead of him despite playing one less game. Sure CJ has great TD numbers and if he scores 2 more tds and we win 30-14, who gives a hoot!

Miles is 3rd in the league in yards/game. Johnson is 24th! Rob hit the nail right on the head!!!

As I said in my last post, you can't really compare Austin and Johnson. Having said that, I'd still take Austin over Johnson.

It might have been a stretch to say Dez is better, but Dez has a lot of talent, especially when healthy. Dez is just as effective in the red zone, and i have yet to see a player beat him when jumping for a ball. That's basically where Johnson gets his praise, his red zone ability.

We are fucking fine!!!

Did you guys see Romo punch the air after that 3rd int? that shows he has heart. Give him a chance. He's only 30 and been choking away games the past 6 seasons. Your expectations for him are unrealistic, like protecting a 24 point lead against a team that wasn't doing jackshit on offense. Again bro.....only 30 in his 6th season as a starter.

Can't wait to crush the Pats after the bye. Should be a good one with the top 2 QB's in the NFL duking it out

Crush the Patriots after their bye? You're kidding right? Brady and Wes Welker along with the New England defense will beat the living shit out of those choking, failing, overrated fucking cowpigs. It's going to be an absolute laugher. And don't you dare pretend to put Tony Homo in the same category as The Champion. That's beyond stupid.

Yep, that's the one I went to. Some of them seem to be waking up and smelling the coffee regarding Romo, but there are several who still talk about how they wouldn't be SB contenders without Romo, and how play-calling is holding them back from dominating the league :lol

Don't remember if we've had this conversation on here before. I know I have with a couple others. But if it wasn't obvious by my sig being the same over there as it was here for a few months...I'm royallypwned over on CF.

pheyevoh is the one who goes around and seemingly just looks for someone to give an infraction to. I can't tell you how many times I see his name pop up in the infraction/reports forum.

Skeety is definitely a gigantic homer. He'll post something on facebook about the Cowboys. I'll debate him; and he'll go off on me. :lol

Cowboys waived RB Tashard Choice.

A surprising decision on the surface, but Choice's recent health woes were making it increasingly difficult to overlook his lack of production. His dismal Week 7 performance as fourth-stringer Phillip Tanner went for 34 yards on only six carries was likely the final straw. Over his past 22 games, Choice has averaged just 3.4 yards on 94 carries while contributing nothing in the passing game. Depending on how DeMarco Murray performs against the Eagles, Dallas could be looking at a backfield that uses Murray as the feature runner, Felix Jones as the third-down back and Tanner as a short-yardage specialist once Jones is over his shoulder issues.

We know these things.

The best thing that's happened to the Cowboys in recent memory was the hiring of Bill Parcells. Bill's drafting and roster decisions actually helped Wade Phillips look borderline competent for a little while.

You can change the coach and you can change the players, but it won't matter because Jurry is the one pulling all the strings. Until the Cowboys have a coach that doesn't give an eff about JJ, they will continue to struggle.

Cowboys ILB Sean Lee will try to play through his dislocated left wrist.

Lee visited a hand and wrist specialist on Monday, and hopes to avoid surgery. An operation could end his season, but the expectation for now is that Lee will play with a cast on the wrist. The Cowboys remain hopeful because backup Keith Brooking has clearly lost a step and was exposed in Sunday night's loss.

OG Daniel Loper was waived by the Cowboys on Saturday.

He was waived to make room for punter Chris Jones, who is needed because starting punter Mat McBriar is questionable with a foot injury. Loper is a replacement level talent that could easily return to the Cowboys once they don't have to carry two punters.

Owner/GM Jerry Jones acknowledged Thursday that FB Tony Fiammetta (illness) and backup QB Jon Kitna (back) may not play again this season.
Fiammetta experiences nausea whenever he exercises. It sounds like a lingering concussion symptom, though the Cowboys medical staff has yet to nail down the origin of the ailment. DeMarco Murray has averaged just 3.4 yards per carry the past two weeks with Fiammetta out of the lineup. Jones confirmed that Kitna's back injury led to Cowboys putting in a claim for Kyle Orton on waivers. Nov 24 - 9:36 PM

The plane ride from Dallas to Phoenix was so quiet, you could hear a season drop. Mavericks officials will tell you that's an exaggeration. They reject the notion that the club stands at a season-altering crossroads after the trade that wasn't. What did you expect them to say? Ask the Mavericks their thoughts heading into the All-Star break, and you get more spin than substance. The next six days leading up to the trade deadline are about emotional survival rather than a reflection on the state of the franchise.

Giants will win the NFC East. Cowboys blew their opportunity. :lmao

The Cowboys certainly haven't shown that they deserve it. The Giants looked pretty good. I seem to recall them just barely losing a game to the undefeated Patriots the year they won the super bowl.

Jason Garret:

“The play clock was running down. We just wanted to make sure that he had a real clean opportunity at it” .... “It was at about 6 (seconds) and we were still getting settled in, so we banged a time out to give him the opportunity to get the snap, hold and kick as clean as possible.”

Ken Whisenhunt:

“I was glad they iced their kicker so I didn’t have to!”

The FUCKING REFS should have known Garrett didn't really want the TO. They should not have called it.

They know the Cowboys are the best team in the NFC. The Packers haven't played anyone and are looking beatable. The Boys are getting robbed by the refs and the media!

I'm all for blaming the kicker but the clock management at the end was horrible.

I don't blame anything on Bailey. This L is on Garrett. 30 seconds left on the clock to get better field position but Garrett decides 49-yard field goals are easy money. In what world is a 49-yarder a chip shot?
