You're basing it on an ideal two-way lineup in '23, but that's a different question.

If you're in the age range I suspect you are, then it's the equivalent of 80s/90s players to us. We may have only caught their late/post prime, but they're still far more relevant to us than the 60s/70s players.

Posting up 20-25% of the time is normal and expected though, and if he’s shouting 55% on those shots, he’s an elite post player. Being interested in the skyhook (which is just a hook shot by a player tall and long enough that the release point is above the basket) means he recognizes his similarities to Kareem, is a student of the game, and wants as many weapons in his game as he can develop.

Played the Nuggets without Murray and Porter Jr., the back half against the Grizzlies without Morant (who were were up 2-1 at the time), the Celtics with a banged up R. Williams and Smart and never had to play inner circle title contenders Suns (COVID ran through them before game 7 vs Mavericks), Clippers or Bucks.

Obviously not his fault, but dims the accomplishment significantly and would be remembered and perceived that way if it weren't golden boy or a select few others.

Isiah Thomas led his team to B2B championships in the 80's. Curry would no doubt be a star if he played in the 80s/90s. Sure, he would probably not play exactly like he plays today, but I don't think his style would change as dramatically as you seem to suggest. Besides being the greatest shooter of all-time, Curry is also an elite ball-handler, finisher and all around bucket getter. He would kill it on any era.

I think Curry would adapt better to the 80's/90's than Magic to today's NBA. Magic was arguably the best plsyer of his generation, he wouldn't be anywhere close to that in today's NBA with the glaring flaws he had on shooting and defense.

I think wemby will score around 18ppg, 8rpg, 3 apg and 2bpg. His passing is something I’m really interested in seeing in the new year, especially how it will integrate with the overall offence.

i used to hate the 90's version of the fiesta colors but i've been surprisingly pleased with the more recent versions - especially the one from a couple of seasons ago. but when it comes to the shoes, i really love the look.

It wasn't Charlene McCombs, it was Russ Bookbinder. And I hated them with a passion, too. They took such an iconic, elegantly simple black and silver concept and candied it up with pastels. Drove me crazy.

I don't mind them as much now, though, but that is also after multiple 50 win seasons and Championships. I'd never want them back as regular colours, so I don't mind them as a very occassional alternate.

I also wonder, didn't TD also not like them and wanted them gone? I can't remember if he had a say in it when the switched to basic colours like you said. I seem to recall also that he wanted the players to have dress code as far as shoe colours go when he was still playing.
