Tankathon has us taking Usman Garuba...

I'm not sure Garuba will be a lottery pick at all. He has a big buy-out attached, which also hurts.

This is my dream pick. He's outta reach though. I don't want to fantasize about him being a Spur.

yeah he’s probably going at 4 or 5

The thing is if the top 6 ( green, mobley, cunnigham, suggs, barnes, kuminga) will be gone when the spurs draft so as bouknight . Plus the others picks before us ( nightmare scenario) are sengun, giddey, moody, wagner then there's a lot of options at 12 and imo garuba will be one of them.

I really hope one off my top 11 big board will fall to us, if not it will be a race between Kispert, Garuba, Jones and Keon Johnson imo.

Yeah, I saw that. And the buy out increases each year. But for teams with two picks, I suppose they could stash him with a pick and figure it out later. OKC possibly, but in truth they’re more likely to trade one of their picks than draft Garuba. And though I like Garuba, I think stashing him would cause some Scola-esque dysfunction.

Are you still believe in Murray being PG of the future, or are you prefer moving on from this project and trade him? If you need to choose between Murray and Giddy for our future PG who is it?

Love his leadership and defense, but if he cant shoot in this league, its time to move on.

DJM should be our alpha defensive leader who also happens to play the 2 guard.

Goddey also can't shoot though. Not saying Murray is the only way. But giddey can't shoot that well too

Rather than Kispert, I’d consider this guy in the second round.

38% 3P
89%FT

He takes deep threes, too, off the dribble.

Happy to see this guy eventually found his way to us. Sensational summer league so far. I don’t see how McDermott plays in front of him tbh.

I think McDermott plays in front at least until the trade deadline. Got to keep his trade value as high as possible.

Because no one knows who Doug McDermott is?
