It's the story of two men, roommates in a mental institution, who are released and need to learn to live independently in an apartment in the city. It was amusing throughout, but very touching in some spots detailing Elling's struggle with normal life. Anyone who likes foreign comedies should check it out.

You know, I thought it was love when I saw them together but when I look back I should have seen the warning signs. I ignored RB's tight grip on Viva's wrist when they were by each other. I didn't think anything of it when RB would make Viva run and get everyone beers while he played Xbox. I think the thing that should have set off alarms though was when Viva had to sneak to the kitchen to pretend to reheat pizza just so he could make a phone call to his mom and when RB found out he anally raped him in front of everyone. That should have been the point where instead of saying to myself "I ain't into this gay shit I am out of here" I should have thought "Hey Viva is crying and saying no, maybe he doesn't like it so much."

I really like when movies show a first person perspective in night/thermal vision. Predator, Silence of the Lambs, Tears of the Sun. The Mad Real World. Hell, even Basic. I don't really care how shitty a movie is, one jungle scene filmed in night vision and all else will be forgotten. I love that shit.
