???? A prosecutor that specializes in sexual assault cases, including ones that have occurred years in the past, interviewed Ford. No reason to do it again unless something turns up that requires clarification. As for Kavanaugh, he was cross examined by several Democrats that were federal prosecutors. No reason to question him again unless something new turns up. I'm sure the FBI looked at the testimony and did some rounds trying to check what each side said. If nothing new turns up, then why go talk to Kavanaugh or Ford again. It's not like either is going to change their story.
Besides, you are missing the playbook. The Dems have shifted from wanting the FBI report to investigate the Ford allegations to wanting the FBI to investigate how much beer Kavanaugh drank in college and high school.
Counselor - you are as bad as that corrupt group of senators.
The white house - had kavanaugh - all day long-every day for a week - just making him recite talking points.
Over and over and over - to hide his impropriety.
("I want a fair process") ("I'm not saying dr. ford didn't suffer something, somewhere")
He might as well have been a GOP robot.
The FBI could catch him off guard, ask him to answer yes or no questions - and NOT allow him to go on his filibustering bullshit tangents about "precedents" and "judge assholio mentioned in his decision in 1973" garbage that he used to evade questions and not answer until - either GRASSLEY - rescued him - or the 5 minutes ran out.
That prosecutor was a joke - she was placed in there - with two people to interview, no witnesses, no FBI investigation, no accomplice under oath, etc...
I have never seen so many people so scared of a proper impartial investigation - yet steadfastly defend a very shaky suspect, a liar, a man with no business serving on the SC.

The FBI people are much better interrogators than senile, biased fucks on the Sen Jud Cte
eg, if the two's public statements match their private statements, very good chance of being true, honest. Else, suspect.
I bet K, swamp monster par excellence, can't repeat to FBI the shit he said in Congress, because he's stressed out from his lying and being accused. He's too fucking stupid to be a good liar. And this flaming asshole, wimpy, emotionally fragile prick is a Repug Federal judge? holy shit

Major Coalition of Churches Denounces Kavanaugh and Decries His 'Extreme Partisan Bias' and 'Outright Falsehoods' as Disqualifying
The nation's largest association of churches is calling for Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to be withdrawn.
the National Council of Churches — the nation's largest coalition of churches, including over 40 Protestant and Eastern Orthodox denominations — released a letter condemning (https://nationalcouncilofchurches.us/ncc-calls-for-withdrawal-of-kavanaugh-nomination/) Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and calling for him to be withdrawn.
"Judge Kavanaugh exhibited extreme partisan bias and disrespect towards certain members of the committee and
thereby demonstrated that he possesses neither the temperament nor the character essential for a member of the highest court in our nation," it said in a statement.
In addition, they noted,
Kavanaugh made "several misstatements and some outright falsehoods," in conversation with the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Furthermore,
"Judge Kavanaugh’s extensive judicial and political record is troubling with regard to issues of
voting rights,
racial and gender justice,
health care,
the rights of people with disabilities, and
environmental protections.
This leads us to believe that he cannot be an impartial justice in cases that are sure to come before him at the Court."
"We are deeply disturbed by the multiple allegations of sexual assault and
call for a full and unhindered investigation of these accusations."

I think Heitkamp will vote no. Looks very certain she's going to lose her Senate seat and a yes vote kills her chances of future positions in the party. She's young enough to care about that.

You are aware Ford never named Kavanaugh when speaking to her therapist correct?
You are aware that this has nothing to do with the discussion.
The discussion the above was involved in was FORD’s credibility.
That her therapist might have considered her unreliable from her notes.
Thanks for your input.

Kavanaugh was crossed by DEMs. Mitchell barely asked him a question. She questioned Ford, but did an investigation, not a cross examination. If you put a defense attorney on her with cross examination, you would acknowledge that her story does add up. Every inconsistency and every back track would be used to call into question all her memories. Frankly, the whole hearing couldn’t have been more favorable to DEMs. Ford got kid glove treatment and Kavanaugh got ripped to shreds by DEMs.
Kavanaugh is not some two bit. He’s a smart dude. FBI isn’t going to play some magic mind game and trick him into some confession like a Hollywood movie.

Judiciary Dems: Claims that past FBI probes gave no hint of Kavanaugh allegations are 'not accurate' (https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2018/10/3/1801291/-Judiciary-Dems-Claims-that-past-FBI-probes-gave-no-hint-of-Kavanaugh-allegations-are-not-accurate)
Committee Democrats (excluding Sens. Chris Coons and Amy Klobuchar) are asking Grassley
to correct what they say is a misleading tweet about Brett Kavanaugh's confidential FBI background investigation.
And what they are objecting to is quite the revelation.
This is the tweet the Democrats are objecting to:

As part of Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to
#SCOTUS (https://twitter.com/hashtag/SCOTUS?src=hash), the FBI conducted its SIXTH full-field background investigation of Judge Kavanaugh since 1993.
As part of these 6 prior FBI investigations,
the FBI interviewed nearly 150 different people who know Judge Kavanaugh personally. 1/2

in any of these six FBI reports, which the committee has reviewed on a bipartisan basis,
was there ever a whiff of ANY issue – at all – related in any way to inappropriate sexual behavior or alcohol abuse. 2/2

And here is their extremely pointed public response (https://www.durbin.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/Letter%20to%20Chairman%20Grassley%20-%20October%203,%202018.pdf) (emphasis ours):
Each of us reviewed the confidential background investigation of Judge Kavanaugh before the hearing.
While we are limited in what we can say about this background investigation in a public setting,
we are compelled to state for the record that
there is information in the second post that is not accurate.
We urge you to ensure that these Twitter posts are promptly corrected.
It is troubling that the Committee Majority
has characterized information from Judge Kavanaugh's confidential background investigation on Twitter,
as that information is confidential and not subject to public release.
If the Committee Majority is going to violate that confidentiality and characterize this background investigation publicly,
you must at least be honest about it.
Translation, not that it needs much:
The Senate Judiciary tweet (the account is controlled by the Majority and has been explicitly partisan in its statements)
is factually wrong
when it claims there was never "a whiff" of information on "inappropriate sexual behavior or alcohol abuse" by Kavanaugh in his already-compiled background checks.
But those records are to be kept strictly confidential:
Senators are not allowed to reveal their contents,
even (seemingly) when the information is directly pertinent to public allegations and testimony.
In the public Republican claims that those records do not contain information on "inappropriate sexual behavior or alcohol abuse",
Senate Democrats are accusing
Republicans of both breaking that confidentiality and lying;
while Democrats cannot directly reveal what is in those files,
they feel they can publicly respond to a Republican announcement of their contents that,
each of the Democrats who have seen those files believe, is untrue.
This is resulting in a Senate knife fight (https://twitter.com/senjudiciary/status/1047606859610435594) on Twitter, because this is our lives now, but it seems
Judiciary Committee Republicans may have opened the door to revealing possible concerns over Kavanaugh's record
that could not have been made public
if it were not for Republicans botching things with improper public assertions about those government files.
If Democrats are right, however,
Kavanaugh was nominated for the Supreme Court
despite a record that contained questions either about his "inappropriate sexual behavior" or "alcohol abuse."
That's not too surprising, given the revelations his former classmates have been willing to pipe up with in recent days,
but it's also another reminder that none of this is going away.
Reporters are finding out about it;
witnesses continue to come forward.
https://www.dailykos.com/stories/1801291
in short, the Repugs play really dirty, with no consequences. So the Repugs, knowing about K's huge problems with booze and women, still nominated him.
Why aren't the Dems, like Schumer etc, raising bloody hell in press conferences, on TV, in the press?

Whoa? No I don’t. Sure GOP defended Kavanaugh. Just like DEMs went after him as hard as they could. But no one went after Ford bc they were afraid of backlash. But if you put a good defense attorney on her that treated her like a witness in a court room and cross examined her, her story would get destroyed and she’s look like she had no credibility. That’s bc her story changed enough on important details. A good defense attorney would poke so many holes that no one would take it seriously but the most naive partisan. This does mean one could not have an opinion based on what was said and reactions.

McConnell stating he spend all his energy on thwarting anything Obama. The 1/3 that follow Trump through whatever had to endure 8 years of a smug black president. That sets up excessive dirty tactics by all involved. The latest involves Trump not giving up tax returns. Blu team and the press gonna get that spilled next.
The nice things for red red team is that blu team fighting about what kind of candidate to run in 2020 and more to date. Trump being coronated by red team because he is the incumbent is red meat for blu team in 2020. So they will infight for that spot. Anyone can win against Trump 2020. Except a crooked Clinton.

You even have someone claiming to be the founder of the name "Devil's Triangle". You have people saying they lost at Devil's Triangle. Perhaps if the Dems weren't having a giant fluff session and were interested in investigating the issue they could've got to the bottom of this. Why bother though when you spin something as devious to tarnish a good man in front of a nation.

Democratic Senators Accuse Republicans Of Lying About Kavanaugh’s Earlier FBI Reports
Democrats (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/topic/democratic-party) on the Senate Judiciary Committee (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/topic/us-senate-judiciary-committee) accused their Republican (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/topic/republican-party) colleagues of
mishandling confidential information contained in Supreme Court (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/topic/supreme-court)nominee Brett Kavanaugh (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/topic/brett-kavanaugh)’s past FBI background checks on Wednesday and
alluded that the files may contain evidence of inappropriate sexual behavior or alcohol abuse.

Bro, her case is all finger pointing. She has contradicted herself on everything when she's not saying she can't recall.
You're "wishcasting" with the 2020 Trump will lose to anybody stuff. Maybe Dems will win these midterms. The apathy of Repubs is right on cue these midterms. Then again, we were lied to last cycle, big league.
If you got butt taped by a priest at that age you would have a similarly difficult time. But you would damn sure remember who. And I guarantee you would not go crying to parents immediately, especially if the priest had groomed you. You would be especially embarrassed and shamed and mad I'm betting. So telling anyone, I betcha hold off because of lack of self confidence.
So don't give me this shit on who is more believable.
And then when you were called a liar you would grovel. This probably needed to happpen to you to get it. Have a priest feel you up during confession for your inability to empathize. Then ask him to forgive you.
Sounds good. Get on it.

No way.
Takes 2/3 of the Senate.
But there will be hearings.
Lots of hearings if blue takes the House. And while those hearings go on they plug the Orange Haired efforts to get anything thru while looking at a picture of Mitch McConnel. Bad for blue short term. But long term... we are looking at real animosity and zero getting done. Next is you want some SC case brought forward that threatens Roe. Then the presidency is back to blue by a landslide.

Next up: he's gonna fire the AG which will shut down the Mueller investigation. Now I think Mueller is smart enough to ensure contingency plans for in case his investigation is shut down. But with Kavanagh on the bench, that's David Dennison's ace in a hole.

Perhaps if the Dems weren't having a giant fluff session and were interested in investigating the issue they could've got to the bottom of this. Why bother though when you spin something as devious to tarnish a good man in front of a nation.

Remember the details because this will bite a lot of complicit officials in the ass.
The FBI - made sure of one thing- complete accurate documentation of exactly how badly the white house/GOP

The single copy of the FBI's Kavanaugh report is behind closed doors. Here's what senators have to do to see it
All 100 senators will be able to review the supplemental background investigation throughout the day.
A reminder that barring some dramatic disclosure in from that inquiry,
95 senators have already made up their minds.
How the remaining groups sees the new background information -- and how it factors into their decisions -- will drive the day.
It all comes down to five senators -- three Republicans and two Democrats
-- and what they see today behind closed doors.
Here are the rules senators are following to review the documents.
Judiciary Committee Republican staff got the first look at the FBI's findings starting at 8 a.m. ET. At 9 a.m. ET,
Democrats took over the room.
Control of the room is scheduled to rotate, every other hour, for the rest of Thursday with most, if not all, of the 51-senator GOP conference is expected to file into the room at 10 a.m.
The staff that is cleared to review the material will provide briefings, likely to groups of senators, and
the senators will be able to review the raw 302s themselves.
The rules
This FBI's work is not public. It will likely never be public. There will be no summary. There will be no release.
There are 109 people who have clearance to access what was delivered to Capitol Hill at 2:30 Thursday morning -- 100 senators, four majority committee staffers and four minority committee staffers, one committee clerk. That's it.
There is a single copy of the FBI's findings. It is currently in a vault, in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility -- or SCIF, if you'd like to use the Washington short hand. It cannot leave the room.
Senators can't bring their phones into the SCIF when they go to review the documents. If they take notes, the notes must be left in the room when the senator leaves.
Senators are not allowed to discuss or characterize in detail what they've read (though they most certainly will try.)

Here’s a list of people the FBI did NOT interview. Okay with this, Flake and Collins?
a lot of new reporting has now emerged that starkly illustrates just how much about the new allegations was not investigated by the FBI.
It’s important to note that this probably was not a failing on the FBI’s part but rather
was the result of restrictions the White House placed on the probe, a process that itself remains shrouded in disingenuous rhetorical games.
Here’s a list of the people who we know have not been interviewed:
A suitemate of Kavanaugh’s has now told the New Yorker (https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/will-the-fbi-ignore-testimonies-from-kavanaughs-former-classmates) he remembers hearing at the time about the incident Deborah Ramirez has recounted. Ramirez, who has been interviewed, had claimed (https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/senate-democrats-investigate-a-new-allegation-of-sexual-misconduct-from-the-supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaughs-college-years-deborah-ramirez) that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her during a dorm party at Yale. The suitemate, Kenneth G. Appold, now says he is “one-hundred-per-cent certain” that he was told the culprit was Kavanaugh. He does say he never discussed this with Ramirez, but he claims an eyewitness described the episode to him at the time. Appold has tried to share this story with the FBI, but there’s no indication the FBI is willing to hear from him.
A classmate of Kavanaugh’s at Georgetown Prep now strongly challenges one of Kavanaugh’s assertions under oath. The person told the New Yorker (https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/will-the-fbi-ignore-testimonies-from-kavanaughs-former-classmates) that he heard Kavanaugh talk repeatedly about Renate Dolphin as someone “that everyone passed around for sex” (the witness’ words), and even heard Kavanaugh singing a rhyme that included the words “you wanna get laid, you can make it with REE-NATE.” Kavanaugh (and many others) described themselves in their yearbook as a “Renate Alumnius,” but Kavanaugh has denied under oath (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/national/wp/2018/09/27/kavanaugh-hearing-transcript/?utm_term=.d43312b71e79) that this was a sexual reference, claiming, ludicrously, that it was intended to show “affection.”
This classmate is not named by the New Yorker. But he put his name on a statement (https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/senate-democrats-investigate-a-new-allegation-of-sexual-misconduct-from-the-supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaughs-college-years-deborah-ramirez) to the FBI and Judiciary Committee that makes this claim, and he is prepared to talk to the FBI. There is no indication this happened.
James Roche, one of Kavanaugh’s roommates at Yale, has written a piece for Slate that claims (https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/10/brett-kavanaugh-college-roommate-jamie-roche.html) Kavanaugh lied under oath about his use of slang and his drinking. Roche claims that Kavanaugh “regularly” blacked out. Roche has offered to talk to the FBI, but there’s no indication this happened.
Roche also pointedly added (https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/10/brett-kavanaugh-college-roommate-jamie-roche.html) of Kavanaugh: “He said that ‘boofing’ was farting and the ‘Devil’s Triangle’ was a drinking game. ‘Boofing’ and ‘Devil’s Triangle’ are sexual references. I know this because I heard Brett and his friends using these terms on multiple occasions.” Roche concluded that Kavanaugh “has demonstrated a willingness to be untruthful under oath about easily verified information.”
NBC News reports that the FBI has not contacted (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/dozens-potential-sources-information-have-not-been-contacted-fbi-kavanaugh-n916146) dozens of people who could potentially corroborate the allegations against Kavanaugh or testify to his behavior at the time. This includes many people who knew either Ford or Ramirez at the time, and people who actually approached the FBI offering information.
The Post reports (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/as-fbi-background-check-of-kavanaugh-nears-its-end-probe-appears-to-have-been-highly-curtailed/2018/10/03/2fa4e93e-c72f-11e8-9b1c-a90f1daae309_story.html?utm_term=.2069d2923e51) that Ramirez’s lawyers provided the FBI with a list of more than 20 people who might have relevant information, but “as of Wednesday, Ramirez’s team had no indication that the bureau had interviewed any of them.”
Neither Ford nor Kavanaugh have been interviewed by the FBI. As the Brookings Institution’s Susan Hennessey points out (https://twitter.com/Susan_Hennessey/status/1047585022289608705): “It is inconceivable they could close a real investigation without re-interviewing Kavanaugh.”
https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2018/10/04/heres-a-list-of-people-the-fbi-did-not-interview-okay-with-this-flake-and-collins/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.75494fc09330&wpisrc=nl_most&wpmm=1

It's your conspiracy theory -- step up and say what it actually is or back down again.
It’s obviously being implied that Feinstein might be implicated in the doxxing or knew of the doxxing beforehand because of her husband’s ties to doxxer’s dad.
Your animus towards twitter users that uncover facts the MSM refuse to report on reeks of jealousy. Would it make you feel better if Spurstalk allowed followers and the ability to “like” a post?

Psychiatrist: Brett Kavanaugh should seek psychological care for his disturbed mental status
“In none of my interviews, however, did I behave like Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate hearing,” he wrote.
“Whether Judge Kavanaugh lied, whether he did or currently does suffer from alcohol abuse or dependence,
whether he is or isn’t guilty of sexual abuse in the past,
his interview behavior alone was, in my opinion, appalling and disqualifying.
Despite extraordinary coaching in preparation for his testimony,
he behaved with hostility and belligerence.
He was, at times, demonstrably abusive.”
If that interview was similar to a stress interview, Kavanaugh failed, according to Dr. Greenspan.
He noted he can’t believe any employer would ever determine he was an acceptable candidate.
“Certainly, if he were a candidate for a psychiatry residency and I had been stress-interviewing him,
I’d have urged him to seek psychiatric or psychological care, given his disturbed mental status,” he wrote.

As Justice Kennedy has stated, judges do not make decisions to reach a preferred result. Judges make decisions because the law and the Constitution compel the result. Over the past 12 years, I have ruled sometimes for the prosecution and sometimes for criminal defendants, sometimes for workers and sometimes for businesses, sometimes for environmentalists and sometimes for coal miners. In each case, I have followed the law. I do not decide cases based on personal or policy preferences. I am not a pro-plaintiff or pro-defendant judge. I am not a pro-prosecution or pro-defense judge. I hope everyone can understand that I was there as a son, husband and dad. I testified with five people foremost in my mind: my mom, my dad, my wife, and most of all my daughters.
Going forward, you can count on me to be the same kind of judge and person I have been for my entire 28-year legal career: hardworking, even-keeled, open-minded, independent and dedicated to the Constitution and the public good."

I've already pointed out a relevant difference on why I think this is so damaging long-term. "We believe her" and it's derivatives is applicable ideology that will send innocent people to jail. People looking at the details of Clinton like her smashing phones or something and thinking she is guilty isn't going to carry over to some average Joe/Jane. It's a massive difference. It's not different at all. It's exactly the same.
Presumption of innocence is a goal for the country.
You don't believe that at all so don't pretend that you do.
And you never answered the question.
Do you presume Clinton to be innocent of everything she has been accused of doing, Nathan?

"As I explained that night, a good judge must be an umpire—a neutral and impartial arbiter who favors no political party, litigant or policy. I am a pro-law judge."

Rumor is that the Repug Senators don't care about the sham FBI report, aren't bothering to go read it, don't care about K's lying now and years ago to Senate Judiciary committee, and don't care about his obvious fragile mental state.

Kavanaugh Is Spooked:
Here’s Why His New Op-ed Shows He’s Desperate —
and It’s Based on a Lie
Kavanaugh’s testimony last week before the Senate Judiciary Committee was an
unmitigated trainwreck that saw him devolve into
rank partisanship,
bitter sniping, and
aggressive attacks on the Democratic lawmakers in attendance
— none of which befits a Supreme Court justice.
The nominee appears to have realized that he completely disgraced himself before the country while trying to defend against allegations of sexual assault
He begins the op-ed with a headline that is just another clear lie and something he obviously wouldn’t have to say if it were true:
“I Am an Independent, Impartial Judge.” :lol
I was there as a son, husband and dad. :lol pitiful
I testified with
five people foremost in my mind: my mom, my dad, my wife, and most of all my daughters.” :lol pathetic
“I was very emotional last Thursday, more so than I have ever been. :lol
I might have been too emotional at times. :lol "might" :lol weasel words
I know that my tone was sharp, and I said a few things I should not have said.” :lol
he should not have said was
his demanding to know whether a Democratic senator who admitted to having an alcoholic father drinks to excess herself.
He doesn’t admit that he yelled at and interrupted senators repeatedly, especially Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), in
an apparent show of misogynistic rage.
He doesn’t admit that he blamed the accusations against him
on “Democrats,”
the “left,”
“revenge for the Clintons,” and
“pent-up anger about President Trump.”
Kavanaugh also doesn’t address the fact that he outright threatened Democrats for opposing him, saying,
“What goes around, comes around.”
he dropped the veil of being an impartial judge and
revealed himself to be an unabashed partisan Republican.
Kavanaugh has shown himself to be:
Someone who should be more comfortable wearing a MAGA hat than a black robe.
