I am not a huge fan of Sony products in general, but I think that at least, aesthetically it is more pleasing. The Amazon one looks really convenient because of the wireless download. Never again.I decided I'm flying first class next time I go on a long flight. Having broad(ish) shoulders makes it impossible to get comfortable in any of the seats.

I can read, though. Burying your nose in a book is a good way to make sure that no one talks to you.

I remember (well, I guess the point of this story is I don't remember) driving home after Game 6 of the 2005 NBA Finals.

I was in Frisco that night covering the Texas League All-Star Game and had already decided that if the game was still going on -- and since we all expected to clinch that night -- that I would try to drive into town to come celebrate. I think I got into my truck after postgame right at 10 p.m. and just headed out. Mind you, I could have simply drove to my friend's house in Denton and she would have let me stay an extra night, but I was a dumbass.

So I remember being out of Dallas when the game ended, so I just decided to keep going (I was living in San Marcos at the time). I remember hearing spurschick call in on Game Night React and talking about the two guys that told her she was cheering too much.

Anyway, I honestly have no idea how I ended up making it home without dying. I remember getting to Austin and I remember falling into my bed at 3 or 4 in the morning, but nothing else in between. I do know that I was falling in and out of sleep most of the way home, too, especially since I had nothing to listen to on the radio.

Not fun, not something I'll ever do again.
