I wouldn't look at it that way. I believe the number was always one and with Wilson now out of play, look for Texas to take one of these guys. Plus, Orlando likes length up front and these two are in the 6-5 range, instantly making them the tallest DT on roster. Nelson is 6-1 and Poona is 5-11, which fitted what Strong liked up front.

The guy just simply stated Chaisson had been recruiting for Texas prior to the LSU visits I think this makes it useless information. We all have learned that once a recruit visits LSU things can change quickly especially with targets from Houston we have been on the wrong side of many of these battles. Not saying he's an LSU lock but I think this only tightens the race. If he doesn't commit while in BR then we fight to live another day is the way I see it. This is strange. What am I not understanding. A player gets more study time if he is not performing well on the field. As punishment? Study time is punishment? It does not fit the rest of the narrative. I must be missing something.

I was told coach Herman said that a few weeks into winter workouts, they will divide people into three groups based on their performance. Source said players in the lowest group will receive an additional 18 hours of study hall on top of their current work load.
Source said the lowest group is called, “Crimson”. Can already tell the RRR is about to get really interesting.
Source also said that coach Herman emphasized grades and how they are a reflection of the overall work ethic of a player. “Grades matter. If your grades are higher then you are more likely to get it on the football field. It also shows us that you work hard”.
More on the grades. I’m told coach Herman said that one of the reasons the current team only won five games last season is because the average team gpa was simply not high enough.

This is strange. What am I not understanding. A player gets more study time if he is not performing well on the field. As punishment? Study time is punishment? It does not fit the rest of the narrative. I must be missing something.

I was told coach Herman said that a few weeks into winter workouts, they will divide people into three groups based on their performance. Source said players in the lowest group will receive an additional 18 hours of study hall on top of their current work load.
Source said the lowest group is called, “Crimson”. Can already tell the RRR is about to get really interesting.
Source also said that coach Herman emphasized grades and how they are a reflection of the overall work ethic of a player. “Grades matter. If your grades are higher then you are more likely to get it on the football field. It also shows us that you work hard”.
More on the grades. I’m told coach Herman said that one of the reasons the current team only won five games last season is because the average team gpa was simply not high enough.

Its simple,play well and you don't have to study, don't and you better hit the books.
