But then you get tidbits like they let Overshown play LB and he got dinged. This guys film really struck me from HS. I was happy he just got in at LB.

This is really really good news. I'm curious who is running at RT right now? I actually thought Kerstetter did a pretty good job last year, all things considered. He obviously never should have been put in that spot, but you can't account for injuries.

From all the reports I've read here are the linemen I'm hearing most about that will be getting the majority of the snaps as of right now.

LT - Calvin Anderson, - Snone walled Hagar, that is saying something.; Denzel Okafor
LG - Patrick Vahe; Tope Imade; Patrick Hudson

I think we have our LT in Calvin Anderson, everything is pointing to him being a impact player. I think our interior will be in good hands between Kerrstettler, Imade, Hudson, Shackleford, and Vahe. that is 5 guys for 3 spots, may the best man win. The real key is who will be the RT. I have high hopes for Sam Cosmi, if he can make that his spot, we are going to have a hell of a offensive line.

Just need to stay healthy.

Bonney is not a great athlete, but was getting the knack for getting to the right places if I remember correctly. He also played out of position at CB because he was all we had on occasion. He is a safety.

Anyway, good to see those CBs for 2 good players. Texas really needs to load up at LB (at least 2 more) and Brown will be a solid RB take. Starting to sound like Ingram is the real deal. Carter will transfer and Young will be a Jr. next year. You still take either Cain or Sanders if they want in, but if not you go with 1 back (Brown) and go all in for Evan's next year.

Interesting side not but while I was running down the list of top LB’s in state, 2 names stood out Jake Ehlinger and Phillip Ossai. Brothers of Sam and Joseph, not sure either are takes for scholarship offers but if not I know the staff will push hard to get them as walk-ons.

I am starting to get good feelings about this team, not 05 good feelings, but maybe 1998 good feelings, or 2004 good feelings. Actually, when I compare this team to the 2009 team, it's pretty much a wash, That team had McCoy and Shipley, but other than those two, not much else, I think this team has better DE, LB, WR (as a group), and RB.

I am going to be very disappointed with anything less than 10 wins.

I believe the last time Texas had a QB start every game in a single season was 2009, and Colt may have started the national title game but he got knocked out pretty quick.
