- Other than how the game went, hats off to CDC. The gameday experience was A+.

- They need to take the training wheels off of Sam starting this weekend and moving forward, if we are going to be a bowl Team. He has to use his legs early and often or we're doomed.

- LJH and Ingram are the best playmakers on O.

I saw a not ready Boyce on the field again.

I saw Gary Johnson unable to get off blocks.
I saw Ingrahm as our quickest back and it’s not even close.
I see a very good young group in the 2ndary until they wear out.
Our QB pressure went to zero from bad. D line was exhausted I guess.

Watched some of the USC game. They are not very good. Their QB has a rocket arm but his foot speed is nil. Their D is pretty tough. We can win. But not based on our displays these first two games.

I don’t feel well. A sense of dread is beginning to set in.

On the sidelines, I don't see any coaching inbetween series, and if there is, it isn't much. with a secondary like we have, getting the young pups sitting down, listening to coaching will help with the exhaustion we are seeing out of sterns. Boyce shouldn't be on the field, Anthony Cook should, similar body types and at least Cook will not be timid and he will PRESS a damn WR. I wanted Patterson when we still had Mack Brown. I saw TCU kick our ass in Austin without even a worry about us moving the ball. Patterson still had an inferior offense at that time and just let us beat ourselves. Lesson learned.

I doubt Major cared about Kendal's reputation, and you can get away with that hire at Houston.

His personal issues aside and speaking strictly football, Kendal's mentality is exactly what UT needs right now.

He runs a simple, highly effective scheme and doesn't care if he's up by 7 or 77 because he's going for your throat.

Herman and Beck so far have shown they'll run tempo when they're losing, or sit on leads and be conservative when they're winning.

If Texas was playing well I’d be more worried about losing recruits and maintaining high status among the rest of college football’s elite teams. But man, they struggle just preventing mistakes and executing with discipline. Honest assessment is the best kind, and honestly they’ve recruited really well all things considered. I don’t want to lose recruits and think it’s naive how some kids want to “play for a winner”, but I don’t blame them either. We’ve seen many things improve under TH besides the lockers, but the rate of improvement definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Wishing them luck against SoCal, I can only dream they’ll one day share the same conference.
