I'm not sure the fact that they haven't moved on to other things is a sign of confidence. It's mostly just the reality of the situation -- why panic and take yourself completely out of the running? At least at this juncture, there's still a possibility (who knows, maybe even a strong probability) that Aldridge will join the Spurs, which would be a better move (talent-wise) than any other move they could make right now. It would be one thing if, say, Gasol was still in play and waiting for Aldridge might cost you Gasol. But that's not where we are. Wait out the best available talent and give him a chance to join you before you shit the bed and move to lesser options.

Nice. The 883 will give you what you're looking for. It's a little on the heavy side but it feels solid all around. The 48 isn't too bad either.
