Look at this guy. He looks terrible.
The hair, always ridiculous, is going to shit. The jowls are sloppily giving up. Skin looks like its been in Russia for every winter since 1978.
The guy is stuck with kids who are a complete disaster and will probably require pardons before his term is up.
A wife who doesn't love him.
A total clusterfuck for a staff.
The worst poll numbers.
The serious prospect of impeachment.
Agenda stuck.
Five months folks.
The presidency is taking its toll at five months.
What a mess this guy is.

And we still don't know the results of a (so-called) President's customary health checkup at Bethesda Naval facility.
I'd love to know how much and what BigPharma that Trash is sucking down daily, his BP, his AC1, his cholesterol, etc.
Notice how Trash, after elected, has lightened his hair and makeup from "made for teevee" orange to much less colorful.

She'd of invited O back in there and their new found buddy, George Bush, Jr.,,,oh, yeah, all you hear now is how chummy her and O & Bush were & are. Oh, yeah, when he was President they called him everything but a white man, but, it turns out that was nothing more than a big fuckin' crock of shit...why? Simple, to rile the countryside, keep (us) on our toes, while the (3 of 'em, et al) laughed their fuckin' asses at us while living the good life. Now? Trump ain't one of 'em. Just an interloper in the way of the line of succession. The aforementioned 3 of 'em, et al are working their asses off trying to remove him, by, hook, or, by crook. Can't just sit and take it for 4 years. Nope.

The prevailing view of Trump has only worsened: He’s ‘unpresidential’
A new Post-ABC poll shows a whopping 70 percent of Americans describe Trump as acting “unpresidential.” (https://www.washingtonpost.com/page/2010-2019/WashingtonPost/2017/07/17/National-Politics/Polling/release_481.xml?uuid=0zGVYGreEeervKU0gGcihg) Only 24 percent say he's acted in a way that's “fitting and proper for a president of the United States.”
Even Republicans are surprisingly split on this question, with 54 percent saying he's acted in a way that's fitting and proper, and 38 percent saying he's acted in a way that's unpresidential.
A strong majority of registered voters — 56 percent — say Trump's behavior isn't just unpresidential but is “damaging to the presidency.” Even about 1 in 5 Republicans — 18 percent — agree.

Transparency Victory: Trump Forced to Release Mar-a-Lago Visitor Logs
'The public deserves to know who is coming to meet with the president and his staff.'
Watchdog groups are claiming victory (https://twitter.com/CREWcrew/status/886945456508588033) on Monday after the Trump administration said it would release the visitor logs for Mar-a-Lago, the resort estate the president owns in Florida and which he dubbed (http://www.politico.com/states/florida/story/2017/01/trump-dubs-mar-a-lago-the-new-winter-white-house-108841) the "Winter White House" after facing a lawsuit.
Citizens for Ethics and Responsibility in Washington (CREW), the non-profit National Security Archive, and the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University in April sued the administration (https://www.commondreams.org/news/2017/04/10/facing-stonewall-groups-sue-white-house-mar-lago-visitor-logs%20) for records of the logs at the resort, as well as those for the White House and Trump Tower residences.
Their suit said that Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which has control over the records, had refused to turn them over in response to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
The suit also pointed to a letter sent the previous month (https://www.tomudall.senate.gov/news/press-releases/as-concerns-with-secrecy-mount-udall-democratic-senators-call-on-trump-to-release-white-house-visitor-logs%20) by a group of senators who similarly demanded the release of the records, writing "the cloak of secrecy seems to be falling over more and more parts of your Administration."
A statement (https://www.citizensforethics.org/press-release/crew-get-mar-lago-visitor-records/) from the groups says DHS will turn over the logs for Mar-a-lago, and that CREW would then publicly release them by September 8th.
https://www.commondreams.org/news/2017/07/17/transparency-victory-trump-forced-release-mar-lago-visitor-logs
My guess is that they will be, and continue to be, heavily redacted.

Let's outline Trump's achievements during his first six months in office
-Embraced autocrats in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Egypt and abandoned longtime U.S leadership in seeking to enhance democracy and human rights.
-Insulted U.S. allies in Europe, especially Germany, and undercut longstanding U.S. treaty commitments.
-Compromised Israel's intelligence sources.
-Spurred more divisiveness in an already divided Middle East by setting off a squabble between Saudi Arabia, a major U.S. ally, and Qatar, home of the region's biggest U.S. military base.
-Undermined U.S. global leadership on climate change by withdrawing from the Paris agreement, joining only Syria and Nicaragua as nonparticipants.
-Proposed a budget with massive cuts that would shred the social safety net and cripple longstanding governmental functions.
-Created uncertainty in the nation's health care system by sending inconsistent administrative signals and supporting legislation that could deprive millions of people health insurance coverage, undermine Medicaid health support for lower income Americans and give wealthy taxpayers a massive tax cut.
-Mismanaged the federal government by failing to fill many top spots and installing an inexperienced, dysfunctional White House staff.
-Reversed decades of Republican support for free trade, ceding leadership in Asia to China by withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership and elsewhere by encouraging the British exit from the European Community.
-Expanded the policy of deporting dangerous illegal aliens by including many people with minimal records, stable jobs and American families.
-Created a commission to investigate his unproven allegations of voter fraud because he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton.
-Reversed decades of bipartisan cooperation in extending environmental preservation of national landmarks.
-Hired foxes to watch the chicken coops by filling his administration with archconservatives, many with records opposing the very agencies in which they work, and curbing civil rights and environmental enforcement.
-Committed potentially impeachable offenses of obstructing justice that prompted appointment of a Special Counsel by firing FBI Director James Comey, because of his probe into possible Trump campaign collusion with Russia, and urging other intelligence officials to pressure Comey to halt the probe.
-Undermined the courts with denunciations of judges and their decisions affecting his administration's policies, especially those curbing his hastily issued ban on Muslim travel from certain countries.
-Without evidence, accused former President Barack Obama of illegally wiretapping his phones.
-Repeatedly misrepresented his administration's policies and trashed officials with whom he has disagreements, calling the ousted Comey "a nut job," Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer the "head clown" and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi an "incompetent."
-Intensified racial and other divisions by reducing governmental civil rights guarantees and reversing protections for sexual and racial minorities.
-Violated his own self-proclaimed ethics laws by allowing officials to deal with issues affecting their former employers. Permitted multiple instances in which he and other family members benefit financially from his presidency.
-Waged a vendetta against news outlets subjecting his administration to scrutiny, calling the mainstream media the "enemy of the American people" and denouncing unfavorable stories as "fake news." Undercut White House press institutions intended to facilitate dialogue between the presidency and the public.

How Trump Is Transforming Rural America
In Colorado, the President’s tone has started rubbing off on residents.
During my last meeting with Matt Patterson, I asked whether Trump’s behavior might limit his effectiveness even while appealing to his base. “I see your point,” Patterson said, but he still believed that Trump would accomplish great things.
“If Trump turns out to be a failure, I’ll take responsibility for that,” he said. “For my share.”
We were at a coffee shop, and Patterson wore his goth look: silver jewelry, painted nails.
“I’ve never been this emotionally invested in a political leader in my life,” he said.
“The more they hate him, the more I want him to succeed. Because what they hate about him is what they hate about me.”

Trump’s Air War Has Already Killed More Than 2,000 Civilians
Civilian casualties from the U.S.-led war against the so-called Islamic State are on pace to double under President Donald Trump (http://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/donald-trump)
Airwars researchers estimate that at least 2,300 civilians likely died from Coalition strikes overseen by the Obama (http://thedailybeast.com/keyword/barack-obama) White House—roughly 80 each month in Iraq (http://thedailybeast.com/keyword/iraq) and Syria (http://thedailybeast.com/keyword/syria). As of July 13, more than 2,200 additional civilians appear to have been killed by Coalition raids since Trump was inaugurated—upwards of 360 per month, or 12 or more civilians killed for every single day of his administration.
The Coalition’s own confirmed casualty numbers—while much lower than other estimates—also show the same trend. Forty percent of the 603 civilians so far admitted killed by the alliance died in just the first four months of Trump’s presidency, the Coalition’s own data show (http://www.inherentresolve.mil/News/News-Releases/Article/1239702/combined-joint-task-force-operation-inherent-resolve-monthly-civilian-casualty/).

Trump Just Bragged About Creating 45,000 Coal Jobs. Bill Maher’s Response Is Epic
During an event celebrating American manufacturing this week, Trump said:
“In Pennsylvania, two weeks ago, they opened a mine, the first mine that was opened in decades…
Well, we picked up 45,000 mining jobs in a very short period of time.
Everybody was saying,
‘Well, you won’t get any mining jobs,’
we picked up 45,000 mining jobs.
Well, the miners are very happy with Trump and with Pence, and we’re very proud of that.”
The Bureau of Labor Statistics released an estimate that
there are roughly 50,800 coal mining jobs nationwide,
only 800 of which have been created during the Trump era.

in Canada, as the “Trump” sign atop the 65 story Trump International Hotel in Toronto was removed.
The rebranding is likely a business move as Trump’s brand was probably hurting demand, said Pankaj Aggarwal, a marketing professor at the University of Toronto-Scarborough, adding that the tower’s Canadian location adds to the case.
“The core value of Canada is somewhat different (than the U.S),” he said, pointing to Canadians’ choice of a Liberal government in the most recent federal election as an example of differing views on issues like immigration.
JFC Capital bought the struggling hotel and negotiated a buy-out with the Trump Organization in June to disassociate with the American President.

Carrier had already announced plans to retain about 500 (http://washingtonjournal.com/2017/06/22/trumps-deal-carrier-save-american-jobs-just-blew-face/) of those jobs, prompting Chuck Jones, president of United Steelworkers 1999, which represents the factory’s workers to say (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/12/06/he-got-up-there-and-lied-his-a-off-carrier-union-leader-on-trumps-big-deal/?utm_term=.4ce616b4ffc7) Trump “lied his ass off.”
Unfortunately, the story just got much worse for the men and women of Carrier. Today, despite Trump’s bluster and cavalier distribution of Americans’ tax dollars.
Layoffs have begun for hundreds of Indiana workers.
“This week,
approximately 300 employees will leave Carrier
as part of the previously announced plan to relocate fan coil manufacturing production lines,” a statement (http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/carrier-statement-regarding-indianapolis-operations--july-19-2017-300490726.html) from Carrier read.
Ultimately, Carrier says the layoffs “will impact approximately
600 Indianapolis jobs over the next several months.”
That works out to a grand total of zero jobs saved, meaning that in his first “presidential” act after the election, Trump gave hundreds of working families false hope for a short-term publicity stunt and stuck the American public with the $7 billion tab.

Trump’s Voter Fraud Chief Just Questioned The Legitimacy Of His Electoral Win
Kris Kobach, Secretary of State for Kansas, is spearheading the Commission. He appeared on MSNBC today to defend his formal witch hunt.
While on air,
he made the ridiculous, patently dishonest comment that “we may never know” if Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.
MSNBC correspondent Katy Tur took him to task for it, and carried his idea to its logical conclusion:
If we can’t be sure the vote was valid, how do we know Trump won?
Kobach, backed into a corner, conceded that she could be right. :lol

When Trump Fans Say He’s “Keeping His Promises,” Show Them This List
So after six months, has he delivered what he promised you?
1. He told you he’d repeal Obamacare and replace it with something “beautiful.” You bought it.
But he didn’t repeal and he didn’t replace. (Just as well: His plan would have knocked at least 22 million off health insurance, including many of you.)
2. He told you he’d cut your taxes. You bought it. But tax “reform” is stalled. And if it ever moves, the only ones whose taxes will be cut are the wealthy.
3. He told you he’d invest $1 billion in our nation’ crumbling infrastructure.
You bought it. But his infrastructure plan, which was really a giveaway to rich investors, is also stalled.
4. He said he’d clean the Washington swamp. You bought it.
But he’s brought into his administration more billionaires, CEOs, and Wall Street moguls than in any administration in history, to make laws that will enrich their businesses, along with former lobbyists, lawyers and consultants who are crafting new policies for the same industries they recently worked for.
5. He said he’d use his business experience to whip the White House into shape. You bought it.
But he created the most chaotic, dysfunctional, back-stabbing White House in modern history, in which no one is in charge.
6. He said he’d close “special interest loopholes that have been so good for Wall Street investors but unfair to American workers.“ You bought it.
But he picked a Wall Street financier Stephen Schwarzman to run his strategic and policy forum, who compares closing those loopholes to Hitler’s invasion of Poland.
7. He told you he’d “bring down drug prices” by making deals with drug companies. You bought it.
But now the White House says that promise is “inoperative.”
8. He said that on Day One he’d label China a “currency manipulator.” You bought it.
But then he met with China’s president and declared “China is not a currency manipulator.”
9. He said he wouldn’t bomb Syria. You bought it.
But then he bombed Syria.
10. He called Barack Obama “the vacationer-in-Chief” and accused him of playing more rounds of golf than Tiger Woods. He promised to never be the kind of president who took cushy vacations on the taxpayer’s dime, not when there was so much important work to be done. You bought it.
But in his first 6 months he has spent more taxpayer money on vacations than Obama did in the first 3 years of his presidency. Not to mention all the money taxpayers are spending protecting his family, including his two sons who travel all over the world on Trump business.
11. He said he’d force companies to keep jobs in America. You believed him.
But despite their promises, Carrier, Ford, GM, and the rest are shipping jobs to Mexico and China.
12. He said he’d create coal jobs. You believe him.
He hasn’t. But here’s what he has done: Since 1965 a federal program called the
Appalachian Regional Commission has spent $23 billion helping communities in coal states fund job retraining, reclaim land, and provide desperately needed social services. A.R.C. helped cut poverty rates almost in half, double the percentage of high-school graduates, and reduce infant mortality by two-thirds. Trump’s first proposed budget eliminates A.R.C.

GOP senator reveals truth about Trump: ‘He scares no one in the Senate — not even the pages’
In an interview with the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/20/us/trump-republicans-obamacare.html), one anonymous Republican senator claims that Trump has no clout in Congress and that no lawmaker is afraid of defying him on key pieces of legislation.
“A Republican senator, speaking on the condition of anonymity because he wanted to preserve his relationship with Mr. Trump, put it… bluntly,” the Times writes. “The president, he said, scares no one in the Senate, not even the pages.”
Rob Jesmer, the former executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee and a former aide to Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), went on the record to make a similar point that Trump is simply not feared by congressional Republicans.
“Right now, nobody’s afraid of Trump, and that’s a real problem,” he explained.
“Where is he on local talk radio? Where is the trip to Kansas to say, ‘Hey, [GOP Sen. Jerry Moran], we’re really close on this and could use your help’? It’s what he does well, getting out there and making the case. I don’t get why he hasn’t been more engaged.”
Among other things, the report notes that the
Trump team has floated potential primary challengers to rebellious senators such as Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and Dean Heller (R-NV), but, so far, none of them have changed their behavior.

Westeros on the Potomac
the kings and queens of mythical Westeros have a brazen disregard for anything that doesn’t provide them with greater wealth or power.
Indeed, the most prominent character of honor on the show, Ned Stark, was killed off in the first season.
For the average viewer, watching the self-indulgent and duplicitous behavior of those seeking to sit on the Iron Throne is initially shocking but, after it happens over and over again, soon seems normal.
The non-royals of the seven kingdoms — peasants, soldiers, tradesmen and the like — have little choice but to accept the machinations of those in power, some loyally, others ruefully.
current occupant of the White House ... seems to have adopted an approach to ethics well suited for the fantasy world.
It is nothing for such a person to spend his weekends at his private golf courses or resorts,
promoting events there and enriching his business.
Nor does it seem to strike anyone in the Trump administration as improper that foreign governments are booking events at his D.C. hotel in an obvious attempt to curry favor.
It’s become such an established pattern with President Donald Trump,
who has spent 21 of his first 26 weekends in office at his properties,
that it’s easy to forget what a break from tradition such behavior represents.
Every president since then has put his assets into a blind trust
Mr. Trump hasn’t done that. His adult children manage his properties, but he still profits from them.
The voters who elected him president aren’t even allowed to know exactly what Mr. Trump’s finances look like as he has refused to voluntarily share his income tax returns in another break with longstanding tradition.
As entertaining as “Game of Thrones” may be, it’s not an approach to governance that deserves to be put into practice.
Congress needs to set an ethical standard :lol
that will be followed by administrations of all shapes and sizes, by Democrats and Republicans alike, by billionaire developers or community organizers.

The Guardian talked with several Trump supporters (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jul/20/donald-trump-support-base-hillary-clinton-hatred-pennsylvania) in Pennsylvania and found that many of them are refusing to watch the news.
“About two weeks ago, I stopped watching the news,” Wayne Bisher, a lifelong Democrat who backed Trump in 2016, told the publication.
“Because it was just like, it was too depressing. They’re still bitching about the

“We got fake news, like Trump said, and I’m upset with the news,” 75-year-old Bruce Garis told the Guardian. “I won’t even turn on the television any more.”
When asked by the Guardian about assorted Trump scandals, many Trump supporters simply deflect the question to go back to attacking Hillary Clinton.
“No matter how it comes out, even if it comes out that there was some shady business going on there, I’d rather Trump in there than Clinton,” 43-year-old Jack Artley explained.
“So, whether he had to cheat or not to get in, I’m OK with that.” :lol
“You really talk to people and – you know what drove a lot of people?” conservative activists Tom Carroll told the Guardian.
“Believe it or not, they won’t leave Trump for anything.

72% of Trump voters consider the Russia story overall to be 'fake news,' only 14% disagree.
Only 24% of Trump voters even want an investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, 64% are opposed to an investigation.
Only 26% of Trump voters admit that Russia wanted Trump to win the election, 44% claim Russia wanted Hillary Clinton to win, and 31% say they're not sure one way or the other.
Even if there was an investigation, and it found that the Trump campaign did collude with Russia to aid his campaign, 77% of his supporters think he should still stay in office to just 16% who believe he should resign.
And
45% of Trump voters said they would still approve of him if he shot someone.

Poor baby Donnie. The president is exhausted, having worked hard for six months to ban Muslims from entering the United States, fail to pass legislation to strip healthcare from 22 million Americans, and attack the free press.
Zeke Miller, White House correspondent for Time, reports that

A watchdog website (http://trumpgolfcount.com/) estimates that
Trump has already spent $47,378,438 on his wasteful sixteen golfing trips.

“I can do whatever I want, I’m the chairman of the committee,” Nunes said.
But even his fellow Republicans are no longer willing to pretend that Nunes’ claims are anything but nonsense. (http://talkingpointsmemo.com/muckraker/richard-burr-devin-nunes-created-susan-rice-unmasking-narrative)
Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Richard Burr (R-NC) on Friday accused his counterpart in the House, Rep. Devin
Nunes (R-CA), of creating a false narrative about Obama administration national security adviser Susan Rice. …
With an assist from the White House, the House Intelligence chairman in March embarked on a one-man crusade to accuse Rice of improperly unmasking the identities of members of Trump’s campaign in intelligence reports.
Though President Donald Trump said he believed Rice’s actions broke the law,
bipartisan lawmakers who viewed the same classified reports from which Nunes drew his conclusions said they saw no evidence of wrongdoing.
People who have worked in the White House suggest that, on this matter, Nunes and the White House simply aren’t being credible. …
Graham said on the “Today” show on Tuesday that Nunes was bumbling his way though something of an “Inspector Clouseau investigation,”
a reference to the fantastically inept protagonist of the “Pink Panther” comedies.

The Failing New York Times foiled U.S. attempt to kill the single most wanted terrorist,Al-Baghdadi.Their sick agenda over National Security
5:45 AM - 22 Jul 2017 (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/888711488717934592)
One media outlet that didn’t gloss over the president’s outlandish claims, however, was the New York Times itself.
Reporters there quickly connected the dots and linked Trump’s tweet to a Fox & Friends segment that appeared Saturday morning.
In that segment, false claims that an Army General, Tony Thomas, made at a recent conference in Aspen, Colorado, were parroted as fact.
Foxnews.com published the claims (http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/07/21/isis-broken-but-leader-slipped-away-due-to-leak-says-key-general.html) made by Gen. Thomas as well.
Now the New York Times is demanding an apology from the Fox News Channel. “I am writing on behalf of The New York Times to request an on-air apology and tweet from Fox & Friends in regards to a malicious and inaccurate segment ‘NY Times leak allowed ISIS leader to slip away,’” the letter said, as reported by Hadas Gold of Politico (https://twitter.com/Hadas_Gold/status/889211112935260160).
There were no New York Times reporting on this subject at the time. And theTimes story Gen. Thomas cited as the basis of his claim in Colorado, didn’t appear until nearly a month later, :lol as the Times pointed out again today. (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/23/us/politics/trump-tweet-new-york-times-national-security.html?mcubz=1&_r=0)
“TheNew York Times story in question was published on June 8, more than three weeks after the raid,” the letter states.
“Furthermore, the Times described the piece to the Pentagon before publication and they had no objections. No senior American official complained publicly about the story until now, more than two years later.”
The real question is, will the president retract his tweet after Fox News, his source, retracts its reporting?
I think we know the answer to that.

The visit would consist of a low-profile trip for brief talks with Prime Minister Theresa May.
As embarrassing as it may be for Trump to audition in a “trial” trip, The White House is equally anxious to avoid massive street protests around an official visit after so
many people signed a petition asking that the Queen be spared Trump’s “misogny and vulgarity”.
The big question remains whether Trump can make even a brief visit abroad without a major faux pas.
the leaders of the UK are smart enough to
force Trump to use training wheels :lol

In Blow to Trump Policy, Court Rules Local Officials Can’t Hold Undocumented Immigrants on ICE Detainers
A court ruled Monday that no, local law enforcement can’t hold non-citizens just because federal officials asked them to.
The state’s Supreme Court has now decided that cops, judges and the like can’t just hold people beyond the time these individuals would otherwise be released from custody.
The basis of this ruling is that arrest powers would get skewed if if local law enforcement held people solely on the basis on a federal detainer

The American Psychoanalytic Association Just Made Historic Rule Change Due To Trump
The American Psychoanalytic Association has reversed a decades-old rule that prohibited its roughly 3,500 members from speculating on the mental health of public figures, including the President.
Dr. Prudence Gourguechon, one of the association’s past presidents, said the rule change came about because of a “belief in the value of psychoanalytic knowledge in explaining human behavior.”
“We don’t want to prohibit our members from using their knowledge responsibly,” she continued, before adding that such a change was necessary because
Trump’s “behavior is so different from anything we’ve seen before.” :lol different? how PC, how about FUCKED UP SICKO?
the fact that the leader of the free world has exhibited such behaviors as publicly mocking a disabled reporter,
boasting of sexual assault, and
barreling into NATO leaders
is evidence enough that professionals need to weigh on in the President’s mental health.
Although it doesn’t take a professional to see that there’s a obvious problem here.

Hannity issued his orders to the troops:
"Members of the Trump administration, they're beginning to shine a bright light on these dark corners of this fake news industry.
And now thanks to social media, you can too. [...] You can call out fake news right at the source.
For example, you can tell fake news Jake Tapper exactly what you think of his interview with Anthony Scaramucci.
You can do it on twitter."
he addressed those who might "want to take it to the next level."
"Write a message to their bosses. Send a tweet over to [Jeff] Zucker over at fake news CNN or Andy Lack from NBC fake news.
Right now the media is living in their little bubble.
It is our job to remind them that there is an America way outside of New York, D.C., Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Tonight, technology is now making it possible for you to take your point of view directly to the source and show America's elites that the forgotten men and forgotten women of this country voted for this agenda and they want it completed and for them to stop lying to you.
Take to the social media, and I think you're going to have a positive impact."

he said in today’s column (http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/huppke/ct-trump-sessions-ohio-boy-scout-huppke-20170726-story.html), titled Donald Trump’s behavior is abnormal. “Becausehe never stops behaving in a way that degrades our humanity. He never finds a bottom. And that’s not OK.”
Trump’s comments last night at a rally in Ohio. The president described in gruesome detail a brutal attack on an innocent 16-year-old girl at the hands of immigrants whom he described as “animals.”
“The intent of the tale that Trump told his rabid fans in Ohio was simple: foment hatred for immigrants,” Huppke wrote.
“You present the innocent characters who are part of the ‘us,’ and
you have them ravaged and destroyed by the murderous ‘them.’
You call them animals, something peddlers of hate have done for ages.”
Weird in a way that if someone at a bar told you that story you’d excuse yourself and walk away as quickly as possible.”
“it came from Trump’s mouth the night after
he shared a sexually suggestive story about a rich guy and a yacht with a sprawling crowd of Boy Scouts, children he rallied into booing a former president…
“…rather than firing Sessions or working out the problems,
Trump is dragging his former friend through the public square.
Tweeting that Sessions is weak.
Accusing him of not doing his job.
Telling reporters who ask if the attorney general will be fired: ‘We’ll see what happens.’
“The president is publicly humiliating Sessions. That’s not normal.
“It’s cruel. It’s a bully tactic. And it’s sadistic.”
no American should accept any of this sadistic nonsense as normal.”

Trump’s malignant pattern: He woos people, rips them off and then abandons them — and he won’t stop
Trump has followed the same manipulative script over and over again, in politics as in business. We're the marks
It’s not just that Trump’s loyalty is only to himself, (https://newrepublic.com/article/143997/donald-trump-loyal) as should have been obvious given the scores of associates (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/09/donald-trump-unpaid-bills-republican-president-laswuits/85297274/) he’s wooed, ripped off and discarded over his long career, including his own lawyers, at times (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/10/trump-files-time-trumps-lawyers-sued-trump/). Rather,
it’s the centrality of this cycle to the way that Trump operates. It’s not a bug, or a feature, it’s the feature of his career — a window both into his abnormal psyche and into the cultural and political dynamics that have allowed him to flourish in the midst of more general ruin.
There was also the matter of how Trump justifies the prospective discarding of associates, and
how he lays predicates for wooing, ripping off and discarding the next crop of eager, willing victim/accomplices.
(“I think it is very unfair to the president,” Trump said of Sessions’ recusal from the Russia investigation — the onlyethical option he had.)
The cycle referred to is most insightfully described in the book “Snakes in Suits: When Psychopaths Go to Work (https://www.amazon.com/Snakes-Suits-When-Psychopaths-Work/dp/0061147893),”
“Snakes in Suits” describes a particular pattern that stands out for the combination of clarity it brings to bear and the broad scope of action it describes. This pattern consists of a three-phase game plan many psychopaths in corporate settings use a when engaging with victims, “a natural outgrowth of their personality” that is often more automatic than consciously planned:
First, they assess the value of individuals to their needs, and identify their psychological strengths and weaknesses.
Second, they manipulate the individuals (now potential victims) by feeding them carefully crafted messages, while constantly using feedback from them to build and maintain control. Not only is this an effective approach to take with most people, it also allows psychopaths to talk their way around and out of any difficulty quickly and effectively if confronted or challenged.
Third, they leave the drained and bewildered victims when they are bored or otherwise through with them.
he has a long public history of behavior patterns that fit this description,
Trump has traversed the trajectory described countless times, with customers, business associates, lawyers and wives. Why shouldn’t he do the same with everyone in the political world as well?
The large mass of the 3,500 Trump-involved lawsuits uncovered by USA Today (http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/01/donald-trump-lawsuits-legal-battles/84995854/) exposes the reality of how Trump operates. He rips off everyone he works with, from hourly workers (http://www.ibtimes.com/political-capital/hundreds-donald-trumps-employees-have-sued-alleged-labor-infractions-2336166) to the biggest banks (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/trump-sued-bank-40m-debt-housing-crash-article-1.2648758). “No candidate of a major party has had anything approaching the number of Trump’s courtroom entanglements,”
a comparison with five top real-estate executives found that “Trump has been involved in more legal skirmishes than all five of the others — combined.”
The fact that he even stiffs his own lawyers and has several times been sued by them (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/10/trump-files-time-trumps-lawyers-sued-trump/)is a prime indicator of his overall pattern.
The chance to con and manipulate others is a primary motivator for someone with a psychopathic personality disorder; psychopaths like to play games with people.
They often are on the lookout for individuals to swindle or scam, and this first phase of the psychopathic approach involves identifying and assessing targets or prey.
Some psychopaths are opportunistic, aggressive predators who will take advantage of almost anyone they meet, while others are more patient, waiting for the perfect, innocent victim to cross their path.
Following identification of individuals who may be useful to them, psychopaths begin to create a shroud of charm and deceit that we have labeled the psychopathic fiction. This is the beginning of the manipulation phase.
The first goal here is to gain the trust of the individual through ingratiation and various impression-management techniques.
Perhaps one of the most effective skills psychopaths use to get the trust of people is their ability to charm them.
Trump-as-winner is clearly one of his favorite psychopathic fictions,
part of the foundation of virtually everything he’s done in business or politics.
Once psychopaths have drained all the value from a victim — that is, when the victim is no longer useful — they abandon that victim and move on to someone else.
Abandonment is most often abrupt — the psychopath just disappears one day — and it can occur without the current victim even realizing the psychopath has been looking for someone new to use.
He can simply outlast the vast majority of those who would sue him, even governments.
In fact, Trump has repeatedly used his wealth and connections to do more than escape from past responsibilities,
but to regain allegiance of those he’s wronged. There’s nothing he likes more than the adulation of those those he has humiliated.

‘I hate when people take credit for an election I won’: Trump blows his top over Bannon-praising book
http://2d0yaz2jiom3c6vy7e7e5svk.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/trump-shutterstock.jpg
president Donald Trump has once again balked at the notion that his adviser and former Breitbart CEO Steve Bannon won him the election.
Trump complained about a new book by Bloomberg writer Joshua Green that recounts how Bannon’s nationalist fans helped him win the presidency.
“I hate it when people take credit for an election I won,” Trump reportedly said while decrying Green’s book, titled Devil’s Bargain: Steve Bannon, Donald Trump, and the Storming of the Presidency.
Trump has complained about the late 2016 Forbes cover story that painted son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner as the “mastermind” behind his winning campaign (https://www.forbes.com/sites/stevenbertoni/2016/11/22/exclusive-interview-how-jared-kushner-won-trump-the-white-house/#4480158b3af6).
A few weeks after Trump took office, Trump fumed about a Saturday Night Livesketch portraying Bannon (http://www.rawstory.com/2017/02/trump-furious-at-snl-sketch-that-portrayed-steve-bannon-as-the-real-president-report/) (dressed as a comical grim reaper) as the “real” president.

Cargo Cult Studies Explain Trump Supporters
Despite manifest incompetence, supporting policies that would harm his supporters and obvious constant lying, Trump enjoys support from a core group that remains loyal.
The best explanation for this phenomenon can be found in work anthropologists have done on South Pacific cargo cults.
Thomas Pettigrew explains that though
Trump supporters are not really economically disadvantaged,
they feel like they are not getting their share as other groups get more.
This feeling of relative depravation ties into the cargo cult belief that the social order is breaking down. article (https://jspp.psychopen.eu/index.php/jspp/article/view/750/html)
In cargo cults people feel that attachment to a charismatic leader will make them rich.
This concept was manifest in the whole idea of Trump University.
People were led to pay thousands of dollars to get the secret of wealth from The Donald.
When it didn’t work, the answer was to give more money for more Trump knowledge.
It is surprising to some that Christians make up a large percentage of the diehard Trumpists.
The prosperity gospel is now taking up a larger share of the religious audience in America.
Members do not want to hear about a ragged Jew talking about feeding the poor.
They want to know how to become rich.
This gives the Trump cult a solid base within a number of churches.

Claims of large-scale voter fraud are not (https://www.brennancenter.org/issues/voter-fraud)true (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2017/01/24/recidivism-watch-trumps-claim-that-3-5-million-people-voted-illegally-in-the-election/?tid=a_inl&utm_term=.05d416a5f845), but that has not stopped a substantial number of Republicans from believing them (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/09/15/poll-nearly-half-of-americans-say-voter-fraud-occurs-often/?utm_term=.710f04417a5c).
But how far would Republicans be willing to follow the president to stop what they perceive as rampant fraud?
Our recent survey suggests that the answer is quite far: About half of Republicans say they would support postponing the 2020 presidential election until the country can fix this problem.

Top European Diplomats Just Revealed Trump’s Sinister Obsession With Obama
President Trump’s use of Twitter is unhinged and dangerous, that Trump is intellectually lazy and intensely ignorant of the historical context that defines the modern world, and that he is obsessed with President Obama to a fault.
One diplomat revealed that he and his fellows play “word bingo” whenever the President speaks because his vocabulary is so poor and he is obsessed with hyperbolic adjectives of size and self-congratulation – “Everything is ‘great’, ‘very, very great’, ‘amazing.”
Another diplomat complained about Trump’s complete refusal to do his homework and acquire even a basic familiarity with the world around him.
“He has no historical view. He is only dealing with these issues now and seems to think the world started when he took office.
He thinks that NATO existed only to keep the communists out of Europe.
He has a similar attitude in Asia-Pacific with Japan, ignoring that the US basically wrote their constitution.”
Meeting with Donald Trump is “basically useless,” complained one diplomat.
“He [Trump] just bombed us with questions:
‘How many people do you have?
What’s your GDP? How much oil does [that country] produce?
How many barrels a day?
How much of it is yours?’”
“He’s not the kind of person you can have a discussion about how to deal with [Fayez] al-Sarraj [the prime minister of Libya],” the official added.
“So you look for people around him, and that is where it’s a problem:
The constant upheaval, it’s unclear who has influence, who is close to the president.”
But the most disturbing part of their criticisms is the confirmation of a widespread suspicion about the President –
he is consumed with a hatred for Barack Obama and intent on destroying his legacy at all costs.
“It’s his only real position. He will ask: ‘Did Obama approve this?’
And if the answer is affirmative, he will say: ‘We don’t.’
He won’t even want to listen to the arguments or have a debate.
He is obsessed with Obama.”
That much has been clear from the way that Trump has frantically waged a crusade against everything President Obama accomplished,
whether it be against his landmark healthcare program or
his environmental protection rules or
even First Lady Michelle Obama’s healthier lunches for schoolchildren program. (http://www.npr.org/2017/05/01/526451207/trump-administration-rolls-back-2-of-michelle-obamas-signature-initiatives)

[[[Some of "The Green Mile's" biggest problems, however, are inherent in King's original text. Director Spike Lee, never one to shy away from controversy, called out the movie for its use of the "Magical Negro" trope. As Lee described it in an interview for Cinaste, The Green Mile and other films like The Legend of Bagger Vance and What Dreams May Come "all have these magical, mystical Negroes who show up as some of sort of spirit or angel but only to benefit the white characters...this character has such magical powers that he can touch Tom Hanks and cure him of his urinary tract infection, why can't he use those gifts to walk out of prison?...He'd rather die with Tom Hanks looking on. Get the fuck outta here! That's that old grateful slave shit."
King himself vehemently disputed this charge in his 2002 interview with Tony Magistrale. "It's complete bullshit." said King. "Coffey was black for one reason only: It was the one sure thing about his character was going to make certain that he was going to burn...I am not surprised that this is Spike's reaction. It's a knee-jerk reaction of a man who sees everything in terms of his race. And for an artist of his stature, it's a hobbling factor in his creative life."]]]

Teen tackled by bystanders after vandalizing Boston Holocaust memorial
The New England Holocaust Memorial in downtown Boston was vandalized Monday night by a 17-year-old who was immediately tackled by bystanders and held until police arrived, police said. (http://bpdnews.com/news/2017/8/14/bpd-officers-arrest-juvenile-in-connection-to-vandalism-done-to-holocaust-memorial)
The teen hurled a rock through a glass panel etched with numbers, representing those tattooed on the arms of the Jews and others in the concentration camps operated by Nazi Germany, police said. The panels are affixed to six glass towers, each 54 feet high.
It was the second act of vandalism in less than three months at the site, located in Carmen Park near historic Faneuil Hall. The suspect in Monday’s incident was charged with willful destruction of property.

Newsweek exposes Trump as the business fraud he is. (https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/8/2/1555822/-OUCH-Newsweek-exposes-Trump-as-the-business-fraud-he-is)
https://images.dailykos.com/images/282041/story_image/CJgxC5wUAAED55j_%281%29_%281%29.jpg?1470152861
Trump’s big line is he should be president because he is a successful businessman. After reading this devastating Newsweek story (http://www.newsweek.com/2016/08/12/donald-trumps-business-failures-election-2016-486091.html), no Trump apologist can ever say that again.
The story goes through the bankruptcies of course, but there are defaults, people ripped off, and lie upon lie upon lie upon lie.
My favorite stuff from the article:
Trump lied to Congress.
Trump was publicly insulting Native Americans while other real business people were making deals to help manage their casinos.
Trump signed a deal with one Native American casino, and they paid him $6 million to go away.
Trump punched his second grade teacher
Trump lied in his books, then blamed the same woman he blamed for Melania Trump’s plagiarized speech.
Trump lied in a filing with a bank where he was trying to get a loan about how much he was worth.
Trump lied about how much money he got from his dad.
Trump’s dad gave him illegal loans by taking cash to his casino, turning it over at a craps table, loading up a suitcase with $5,000 chips, and leaving.
Trump’s earliest deals all lost money and he only did well when his dad guaranteed loans.
Trump spent $1 million per plane to turn a shuttle into a luxury trip that no one wanted to take. The planes were only worth $4 million each.
There is just so much more. I want to give a few quotes:
Lost contracts, bankruptcies, defaults, deceptions and indifference to investors—Trump’s business career is a long, long list of such troubles, according to regulatory, corporate and court records, as well as sworn testimony and government investigative reports.
Call it the art of the bad deal, one created by the arrogance and recklessness of a businessman whose main talent is self-promotion.
He is also pretty good at self-deception, and plain old deception.
Trump is willing to claim success even when it is not there, according to his own statements.
“I’m just telling you, you wouldn’t say that you're failing,” he said in a 2007 deposition when asked to explain why he would give an upbeat assessment of his business even if it was in trouble.
“If somebody said, ‘How you doing?’ you're going to say you're doing good.”
Perhaps such dissembling is fine in polite cocktail party conversation, but in the business world it’s called lying.
Trump tells everyone he is a gazillionaire. How does he decide his net worth?
Trump is quick to boast that his purported billions prove his business acumen, his net worth is almost unknowable given the loose standards and numerous outright misrepresentations he has made over the years.
In that 2007 deposition, Trump said he based estimates of his net worth at times on “psychology” and “my own feelings.” ;lol
But those feelings are often wrong—in 2004, he presented unaudited financials to Deutsche Bank while seeking a loan, claiming he was worth $3.5 billion. The bank concluded Trump was, to say the least, puffing; it put
his net worth at $788 million, records show.
(Trump personally guaranteed $40 million of the loan to his company, so Deutsche coughed up the money. He later defaulted on that commitment.)
And the money quote:
Trump’s many misrepresentations of his successes and his failures matter—a lot.
As a man who has never held so much as a city council seat, there is little voters can examine to determine if he is competent to hold office.
He has no voting record and presents few details about specific policies.
Instead, he sells himself as qualified to run the country because he is a businessman who knows how to get things done, and
his financial dealings are the only part of his background available to assess his competence to lead the country.
And while Trump has had a few successes in business, most of his ventures have been disasters.

Donald Trump sinks to new depths of degradation
Any time you think Donald Trump cannot sink lower or further degrade the office he holds, he proves you wrong.
His Tuesday press conference was the most historically ignorant, morally clueless and thoroughly malignant performance of any president in memory.
He makes me long for the comparative nobility and wisdom of Richard Nixon
What really angers Trump to his core is being challenged on anything — and the weaker and less defensible his position, the more furiously he defends it.
Trump has no interest in trying to heal the wounds of Charlottesville because he is too preoccupied with avenging his own wounds.
This is the most shameful day of his presidency.
But probably not for long.

Bannon, basically: Trump’s campaign was a fraud the former White House chief strategist made a breathtakingly candid admission in the hours after his exit on Friday.
“The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,” Bannon told (http://www.weeklystandard.com/bannon-the-trump-presidency-that-we-fought-for-and-won-is-over./article/2009355) the Weekly Standard. “We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but
that presidency is over.”
What, exactly, did Bannon mean? Well, he got specific:
“I just think his ability to get anything done — particularly the bigger things, like the wall, the bigger, broader things that we fought for, it’s just going to be that much harder,” Bannon said of Trump.
And what will be the effect of the remaining White House advisers on Trump?
“I think they’re going to try to moderate him,” Bannon said.
“I think he’ll sign a clean debt ceiling; I think you’ll see all this stuff.
His natural tendency — and I think you saw it this week on Charlottesville — his actual default position is the position of his base, the position that got him elected.

But the bigger takeaway here is that Bannon believes Trump will fail.
The wall? Probably not going to happen.
Sweeping tax cuts? Bannon predicted “they’ll do a very standard Republican version of taxes.”
Repealing Obamacare? Please.
Bannon called the GOP plan that Trump backed “a half-hearted attempt at Obamacare reform.”
That's right — “reform.” Bannon wouldn't even call it a repeal effort.
The short translation is that Trump's campaign was a fraud.
The ideas that Trump sold and his supporters bought are unlikely to turn into actions,
according to Bannon.

I think you’re going to see a lot of constraints on that.
I think it’ll be much more conventional.”

Schiff questions Trump’s ‘capability,’ says issue could get worse with time
he sees “some serious issues” with President Trump’s capabilities that aren’t likely to get better
but that it’s premature to consider invoking a constitutional provision to force him from office.
There’s some attribute of his character that makes him

and I think it’s a question that people are asking, you know,
‘What is going on with this president?
What can explain this kind of behavior?’ ”

Enough is Enough
"These are not normal times.
The man in the White House is reckless and unmanageable, a danger to the Constitution, a threat to our democratic institutions."
“Last week some of his worst qualities were on display: his moral vacuity and his disregard for the truth, as well as his stubborn resistance to sensible advice.
As ever, he lashed out at imaginary enemies and scapegoated others for his own failings.
Most important, his reluctance to offer a simple and decisive condemnation of racism and Nazism astounded and appalled observers around the world.”
“With such a glaring failure of moral leadership at the top,
it is desperately important that others stand up and speak out to defend American principles and values.
This is no time for neutrality, equivocation or silence.
Leaders across America — and especially those in the president’s own party — must summon their reserves of political courage to challenge President Trump publicly, loudly and unambiguously.”
“But where are the rest?
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Rep. Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) are the two most-powerful men in Congress.
Both have fired off the occasional potshot
but for the most part have stood firmly behind this wildly flawed president,
despite the taunts and insults Trump hurled at them from his Twitter redoubt.
What holds them back?
Craven, self-serving political calculations designed to protect their careers,
and dwindling hope that the president, despite everything, will help them move their long-delayed legislative agenda.
Their silence is shameful.“

Trump Just Returned To Washington And Broke A Major Campaign Promise
On the heels of Trump’s return from vacation,
he will address (http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/20/politics/james-mattis-donald-trump-afghanistan/index.html) the nation at 9 p.m. Monday night to announce what is largely expected to be
a surge (https://thinkprogress.org/trump-afghanistan-troop-surge-955e8c18bf0c/) of as many as 4,000 (https://www.wsj.com/articles/donald-trump-to-unveil-afghanistan-strategy-in-televised-address-monday-1503262674?mg=prod/accounts-wsj) new troops into Afghanistan.
This move, however, would come in sharp contrast to Trump’s statements dating back to 2011,
in which he staunchly opposed military intervention of any kind in that country.

The elites strike back — getting under Trump’s skin
THE BIG IDEA:
The 2016 election represented, as much as anything else, a repudiation of America’s elites and everything they believe in.
By running on the hollow promises of populism, nativism and isolationism, an angry outsider challenged many of the bipartisan shibboleths that have long united most of the highly educated and affluent leaders of our country and culture.
Seven months into President Trump’s reign, the elites are striking back.
From Wall Street to West Palm Beach and West Hollywood, the past week has been a turning point, perhaps even a tipping point. Since Trump abdicated his moral leadership after Charlottesville, the well-connected have used their leverage — like checkbooks and celebrity — to send a message about what truly makes America great.
The growing number of groups canceling galas, stars boycotting ceremonies and chief executives resigning from advisory boards is further isolating Trump.
People in his orbit say the president has been in a sour mood about all of this.
He stormed the barricades, but now he’s the one under siege.
Unlike most of the criticism he’s engendered since taking office, the past week has actually impacted his bottom line.
The value of the Trump “brand,” which he once said is worth billions, has taken a bath since he declared that some “fine people” were protesting alongside the neo-Nazis and white supremacists at the University of Virginia.

From the token knitter installed at RNC after Obama won.
Message: "Repugs can do knitters, too"
The Former Chairman Of The RNC Just Made An Awesome Prediction About Trump’s Presidency
“Time is running out for the Trump administration to enact its agenda,” CNBC reported that Steele said on Squawk Box, “and
disagreements on key issues between the White House, the Senate, and the House will make things even harder.”
“The tension is already there on some big-ticket items like tax reform and health care that
the Senate is of one mind,
the House is of another and
the White House is on a completely different page,” said Steele.
“You’ve got Republicans who came into Congress with the idea they are not going to vote for any increase in the debt at all,” explains Steele.
“And the president who wants a clean spending bill on the table.
Those members want to cut. (and McConnell just announced INCREASING the debt :lol )
So you’ve already got that problem on one big issue even before you get to tax reform.”
“This is a problem that will require a lot of negotiation,” adds Steele, who is also the former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland.
“The White House doesn’t seem to be in the mood for negotiation. They just want to get it done. “
“That isn’t how the process gets done,” adds Steele.
“You know that and I know that. But the expectation is we came here to drain the swamp, not to do it the way you’ve always gotten it done.”
“So McConnell is in a pickle because he doesn’t want to have this subject on the table going into next year’s election,” concludes Steele,
“particularly when you’ve got senators on the ballot.”
Bannon, says Steele, “now plans to use the media and all of its weapons to go after those in the deep state like
McConnell and others who made the president’s agenda – in their view – a compromised agenda.”
“This fall is not going to be pretty for Republicans,” Steele predicts.

Paid actors, a fake publicist, and retweeted bots: Trump habitually uses deceit and propaganda to shape perceptions
President Donald Trump’s Twitter habits (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump) help shape the media and public narrative about his administration, which is why his record of retweeting and quote-tweeting accounts with suspicious bot or sock-puppet activity raises concerns.
A Media Matters study (https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2017/08/08/we-looked-trumps-twitter-interactions-more-year-lot-them-are-suspicious/217557) of an archive (http://www.trumptwitterarchive.com/) of Trump’s Twitter account revealed that over the past year, Trump has on a handful of occasions propped up praise (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/770248548571021312?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mediamatters.org%2Fblog% 2F2017%2F08%2F08%2Fwe-looked-trumps-twitter-interactions-more-year-lot-them-are-suspicious%2F217557) from accounts that feature suspicious bot activity or that have since been suspended or deactivated. If he’s unintentionally promoting bots, it shows gullibility and a lack of basic due diligence on his part that is terrifying in someone as powerful as the president. And if he’s promoting such tweets intentionally, that shows how shamelessly Trump resorts to propaganda in an effort to bolster his image (https://news.vice.com/story/trump-folder-positive-news-white-house), set narratives, distract the public from damaging news, spin stories in his favor, and provide talking points for far-right media networks with no regard for reality.
Trump’s history of using deceit to manipulate the media and project self-advantageous messages indicates that there’s perhaps nothing accidental about his tendency to retweet bots. For three decades, starting in the 1970s, Trump infamously pretended to be a fictional publicist (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/donald-trump-alter-ego-barron/2016/05/12/02ac99ec-16fe-11e6-aa55-670cabef46e0_story.html) named John Miller and used that pseudonym to plant pro-Trump stories in the media. In June 2015, Trump paid actors (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/donald-trump-campaign-offered-actors-803161) to cheer for him during his announcement that he would run for president, during which he called Mexican immigrants rapists.
Trump has said (http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/trump-touts-poll-leads-stirs-fox-drama-ahead-iowa-rally-n415926) that he retweets for a reason and that the retweets are an endorsement “to a certain extent.”
This doesn’t leave much room to question the intentionality behind his insidious strategy.

What Donald Trump’s tweets reveal about his mental health
From his obsession with "the haters and losers" to his episodes of mania and delusion, it's all there on Twitter
One of the most notable things about the 34,000 tweets that Rachel Montgomery culled through for this new book (https://www.amazon.com/Wanted-about-Donald-Learned-Tweets/dp/1510729836/?tag=saloncom08-20) is their sheer quantity.
To make sense of his aberrant behavior, you need to understand, specifically,
what is psychologically wrong with Donald Trump.
His diagnosis is the Rosetta Stone to cracking the Trump Twitter code, revealing its underlying structure, and unfortunately, how much *danger all the rest of us are in as a result.
He is a malignant narcissist who is also on the bipolar spectrum.
From a psychiatric perspective, the prognosis could not be more dire—for us.
Trump embodies the diagnostic criteria of believing himself to be “uniquely superior,” (“Only I can fix it”) to a degree that would be comical if it weren’t so frightening.
He appears to literally believe that he knows more about everything than everybody, despite his lack of experience, study, intellectual curiosity, or even normal attention span.
“No one knows more about (fill in the blank) than me,” he repeats over and over, while it becomes more absurd, as his imagined portfolio of expertise expands with each improbable bombastic claim.
But malignant narcissism is to garden variety Narcissistic Personality Disorder what a malignant tumor is to a benign one. Both are bad, but only one will kill you.
“The quintessence of evil,” was how Erich Fromm described malignant narcissism
A malignant narcissist is a human monster.
“the malignant narcissist is pathologically grandiose, lacking in conscience and behavioral regulation with characteristic demonstrations of joyful cruelty and sadism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sadism_and_Masochism).”
When you combine these four ingredients—narcissism, antisocial traits, paranoia, and sadism—you have
a leader who feels
omnipotent,
omniscient, and
entitled to total power,
who rages at being persecuted by imaginary enemies,
which includes anyone who disagrees with him,
as well as vulnerable minority groups who represent no threat whatsoever.

Following Trump’s unhinged Phoenix speech, James Clapper, the former director of National Intelligence, said on CNN, “I really question his … fitness to be in this office,” describing the address as “scary and disturbing” and characterizing Trump as a “complete intellectual, moral, and ethical void.”
Senator Bob Corker, a Republican from Tennessee, said that the President “has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability, nor some of the competence, that he needs” to lead the country.
Last Friday, Representative Zoe Lofgren, a Democrat from California, introduced a resolution urging a medical and psychiatric evaluation of the President, pointing to an “alarming pattern of behavior and speech causing concern that a mental disorder may have rendered him unfit and unable to fulfill his Constitutional duties.” Lofgren asked, in a press release,
“Does the President suffer from early stage dementia?
Has the stress of office aggravated a mental illness crippling impulse control?
Has emotional disorder so impaired the President that he is unable to discharge his duties?
Is the President mentally and emotionally stable?”
The principle known as the “Goldwater rule” prohibits psychiatrists from giving professional opinions about public figures without personally conducting an examination

How the Deep State Ties Down Trump
President Trump has had his foreign policy hands and feet tied by the Russia (and Iran) Sanctions Act.
He now has been rendered “helpless”: in respect to détente with Russia —
gulliverized, spitefully, by his own party,
working with the Democrats, to empty Trump’s constitutional prerogatives in foreign policy – and to seize them for Congress.
Trump has been “rolled (http://turcopolier.typepad.com/sic_semper_tyrannis/2017/08/httpswwwwashingtonpostcomnewspowerpostpalomadaily-20220170822daily-202-a-dozen-key-lines-from-.html)” by his military minders (Generals James Mattis, H.R. McMaster and John Kelly) on his Afghan policy: he has relinquished civilian oversight of this military expedition in Afghanistan to McMaster and Mattis — the former being the presumed author of the “new” Afghan policy.
The President was “rolled” on his foreign military prerogatives too – as Commander in Chief – by his triumvirate of military minders in the White House. The “civilian” leadership has given place to the “military.”
“President Trump’s highest officials remain committed, one way or another, to defending the global order the U.S. has been building since the Truman era.
That includes [Secretary of State RexTillerson, Mattis, Kelly and McMaster]:
These men share a disdain for the Obama administration’s retrenchment and retreat. …
They want to check the ambitions of America’s rivals, while restoring the foundations, both military and economic, of U.S. world power.”
A Zombiefied Trump
Here is the point:
Will the political zombiefication of President Trump satisfy the two party Establishments?
Are they mollified enough, to come together to agree on a budget and a new “clean” debt ceiling (the “ceiling” arrives on Sept. 29)?
And, even if achieved, will so-called “normalization” of Trump policies really take the U.S. back to the nirvana of “how things used to be”?
Ostensibly, “normalization” of Trump’s economic policy should be manageable:
Ryan and McConnell would need only to line up a modest number of Democratic votes (together with Republican foot-soldiers), to enact a debt ceiling increase.
But it may be more complicated – much more complicated than that:
Should the Democrats cooperate (and they will want to appear that they are co-operating in order to avoid blame for any subsequent Federal shut-down),
it will be only on the basis of “an onerous quid pro quo (http://davidstockmanscontracorner.com/the-goldman-sachs-regency/) that requires Trump to give up the Mexican Wall; t
ax cuts for the wealthy;
his proposed deep domestic spending cuts, and
also to fund the insurance company bailouts that are needed to forestall drastic premium increases and coverage cancellations during the 2018 insurance (and election) year.”

‘They think they’re special’: Ex-friends and DC insiders trash Jared and Ivanka’s ‘essential irrelevance’
One veteran Washington insider told the magazine that the president’s eldest daughter and son-in-law lacked the self-awareness to sit on the sidelines until they learned what they didn’t know about their new positions of power and influence.
“What is off-putting about them is they do not grasp their essential irrelevance,” the Washington veteran said. “They think they are special.”
The couple does enjoy some perks that come from their relationship as “first among equals” in the White House, according to the Washington veteran — although West Wing advisers reportedly mock Ivanka as “princess royal” behind her back.
“Trump is emotionally dependent on his son-in-law and his daughter,” said the Washington veteran. “But they can’t do anything for him. All they can do is make him feel better about what his life has come to.”
The couple has been surprised and disappointed by their reception in Washington, :lol
and have lost friends back in elite circles in New York City
One former friend said Kushner has traded up to a higher-powered circle that included other administration officials, as well as Saudi royalty.
“When they decide it’s more important to protect their own and their children’s reputations
than it is to defend their indefensible father’s,
that’s a sign the end is near,”

Trump Reportedly Fed Up With Rex Tillerson: ‘Rex Just Doesn’t Get It’
President Donald Trump’s patience with Rex Tillerson, his secretary of state, is wearing thin according to a new report from Axios (https://www.axios.com/scoop-trump-frustration-with-tillerson-rising-fast-2478123564.html?utm_medium=linkshare&utm_campaign=organic).
Jonathan Swan reports that the president “has been growing increasingly frustrated with his Secretary of State,” with Axios’s Mike Allen adding that U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley is a possible replacement.
One source told Swan that after Trump returned from a recent meeting on Afghanistan, the president said “Rex just doesn’t get it, he’s totally establishment in his thinking.”
“We’ve been hearing for weeks, from sources who’ve spoken to the president, that Trump is getting more and more fed up with Tillerson, who has still yet to staff his agency,” Swan reports.
There are apparently growing concerns in the administration that Tillerson has yet to appoint top roles at the State Department, “empowering only the tiniest inner circle,” which falls in line with reports (http://foreignpolicy.com/2017/08/01/morale-takes-a-nosedive-at-state-department/) the secretary of state has “destroyed morale” at the department.
Trump’s frustrations were likely compounded by Tillerson’s eyebrow-raising comments to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, in which the secretary of state seemed to distance himself from Trump’s response (https://www.mediaite.com/tv/trump-defends-initial-charlottesville-remarks-i-think-theres-blame-on-both-sides/) to the Charlottesville terror attack.
When asked about the “president’s values,” Tillerson said “the president speaks for himself,” a remark that left Wallace perplexed.

U.S. Moves to Build Prototypes for Mexican Border Wall
https://static01.nyt.com/images/2017/09/01/us/01DC-WALL-02-urban/01DC-WALL-02-urban-master768.jpg
The Department of Homeland Security (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/organizations/h/homeland_security_department/index.html?inline=nyt-org) took the first major step on Thursday toward building a barrier on the border with Mexico, a key campaign promise of President Trump, as officials announced that they had awarded contracts to build several prototypes of a concrete wall.
Four companies will build the prototypes in the San Diego area, said officials at Customs and Border Protection (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/organizations/c/customs_and_border_protection_bureau/index.html?inline=nyt-org), an agency within the department. The companies selected will each have 30 days to complete the projects after the agency gives them the order to proceed.
“The border wall prototypes and designs will complement other tools we employ to secure our borders,” said Ronald D. Vitiello, acting deputy commissioner at Customs and Border Protection.
Mr. Vitiello said that the prototypes would be about
30 feet high and that the contracts were between $400,000 and $500,000 each.
The department has reallocated $20 million from other programs to pay for the prototypes and related costs.

The TRASH EFFECT
With a Confederate song blaring from his truck, an Oregon man drove into a crowd of protestors (https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/9/11/1697649/-With-a-Confederate-song-blaring-from-his-truck-an-Oregon-man-drove-into-a-crowd-of-protestors)
A black Chevy Silverado with Oregon plates and two large American flags and several small flags hanging from its windows (along with a Confederate flag decal displayed on the back window of the cab) drove up to the marchers. It was driving slowly down a street flanked by people dressed in black bloc clothing.
As the crowd parted to clear the way for the truck to move forward, protesters filled the street behind it and started throwing rocks and water bottles at the truck.
The driver suddenly put his vehicle in reverse and accelerated toward the protesters. As he sped up, people jumped out of the street.
The driver, seen in the video below, drove through the crowd for a full block.
Not once, but twice.
You can hear his economic anxiety as he began
blasting the Confederate song “I Wish I Was In Dixie Land” from his truck’s speakers.
Unbelievably, police only briefly detained him before letting him go with no charges.

Amid the shock and horror of that day in 2001 when Americans watched the Twin Towers crumble before their eyes, Trump took a moment to brag (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNodh9OlTrQ) about the grandeur of Trump-owned 40 Wall Street, now the “tallest” building (https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/9/12/1569222/-For-Donald-Trump-9-11-has-been-all-about-Trump-properties) in New York City.
“40 Wall Street,” he said, referring to his 71-story building blocks away from the now-collapsed twin towers,
“actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and
it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest—and then, when they built the World Trade Center,
it became known as the second-tallest.
And now it’s the tallest.”
Because that’s what a normal person would be thinking in the immediate aftermath of what was already emerging as one of the deadliest attacks ever carried out on American soil.
If you can stomach it (and I mean that sincerely, not flippantly), the two videos from today and 2001 are pasted below.

White House Rejects Supremacist Label:
“No One Has Done More Than Trump to Prove White People Are Not Superior”

WASHINGTON — Upbraiding the ESPN anchor Jemele Hill for calling Donald Trump a “white supremacist,” the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said on Wednesday that “no one has done more than President Trump to prove that white people are not superior.”
“It’s grossly unfair that Ms. Hill sought to portray Donald Trump as an upholder of white supremacy, when everything he says or does directly undermines that whole concept,” Sanders said.
“Anyone who thinks that Donald Trump is on some mission to make white people look good hasn’t been paying attention.”
Sanders urged the ESPN anchor to “do her homework” on Trump before making baseless allegations.
“Read his tweets,” she said. “Listen to his speeches. If you still think Donald Trump is trying to prove that white people are superior, I tip my hat to you.”
Ending on a personal note, Sanders said that she was
“a hundred-per-cent sure” that her boss is not a white supremacist.
“Donald Trump cannot even spell the word ‘supremacist,’ ” she said.

Bill Moyers: Renowned Psychiatrist Warns That Trump Is a Danger to Us All
"We have a duty to warn if someone may be dangerous to others."
There will not be a book published this fall more urgent, important, or controversial than The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump (https://us.macmillan.com/thedangerouscaseofdonaldtrump/bandyxlee/9781250179456/), the work of 27 psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health experts to assess President Trump’s mental health.
Are you putting your profession’s reputation at risk?
Robert Jay Lifton:
I don’t think so. I think the Goldwater Rule is a little ambiguous. We adhere to that portion of the Goldwater Rule that says we don’t see ourselves as making a definitive diagnosis in a formal way and we don’t believe that should be done, except by hands-on interviewing and studying of a person. But we take issue with the idea that therefore we can say nothing about Trump or any other public figure.
We have a perfect right to offer our opinion, and that’s where “duty to warn” comes in.
Moyers: Duty to warn?
Lifton:
We have a duty to warn on an individual basis if we are treating someone who may be dangerous to herself or to others — a duty to warn people who are in danger from that person. We feel it’s our duty to warn the country about the danger of this president.
If we think we have learned something about Donald Trump and his psychology that is dangerous to the country, yes, we have an obligation to say so.
We argue that
Trump’s difficult relationship to reality and
his inability to respond in an evenhanded way to a crisis renders him unfit
to be president, and we asked our elected representative to take steps to remove him from the presidency.
people who have no discernible mental illness — and that may be true of Trump — may not be able to serve, may be quite unfit.
So it isn’t always the question of a psychiatric diagnosis. It’s really a question of what psychological and other traits render one unfit or dangerous.
Lifton:
Yes. And that’s what I call
malignant normality.
What we put forward as self-evident and normal may be deeply dangerous and destructive.
I came to that idea in my work on the psychology of Nazi doctors — and I’m not equating anybody with Nazi doctors, but it’s the principle that prevails — and also with American psychologists who became architects of CIA torture during the Iraq War era.
These are forms of malignant normality.
For example,
Donald Trump lies repeatedly. We may come to see a president as liar as normal.
He also makes bombastic statements about nuclear weapons, for instance, which can then be seen as somehow normal.
In other words,
his behavior as president, with all those who defend his behavior in the administration, becomes a norm.
We have to contest it, because it is malignant normality

When all is said and done, America is a laughingstock because of the clown our citizens empowered.

In either case, it’s a terrible reflection on this country.

WASHINGTON — Donald J. Trump on Friday capped a busy week of diplomatic activity by naming the former Alaska governor Sarah Palin the United States Ambassador to Nambia.
By naming Palin to this diplomatic post, the United States has become the first nation in the world to formally recognize Nambia’s existence.
In a joint appearance with Trump at the White House,
Palin acknowledged that she “didn’t know a lot about Nambia”
but said that she was looking forward to receiving a
comprehensive briefing on the nation’s history, culture, and customs from the Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos. :lol
“Then it’s Nambia, here I come!” Palin exclaimed.
In a sign that Palin’s appointment was a popular move, a new poll shows that
an overwhelming majority of Americans support her permanent relocation to Nambia.

[Trump’s] coverage was negative from the start [of the general election] and never came close to entering positive territory. During his best weeks, the coverage ran 2-to-1 negative over positive. In his worst weeks, the ratio was more than 10-to-1. If there was a silver lining for Trump, it was that his two best weeks were the ones just preceding the November balloting.
This isn't to say that Clinton wasn't covered negatively as well, but for her to claim that Trump somehow escaped negative coverage, and that she was the real victim of the press, is ludicrous.

Compare the behavior, actions and policy of the two candidates during the campaign.
One attacked John McCain for being a P.O.W., called Mexicans rapists and murderers, called for the ban of all Muslims "until we figure out whats going on", was sued by members of his own "university" for fraud, said judge in the lawsuit should recuse himself since he was Mexican, offered zero policy specifics on literally anything, refused to release his tax returns, had a tax return leak which showed he has a one year income of negative 900 million dollars, attacked all media outlets except Fox News, got destroyed in three debates, had a god damn audio recording leak in which he bragged about "grabbing women by the pussy" and had politifact.com indicate that 71% of all his statements were either "mostly false", "false" or "pants on fire".
The other used private email while serving as our nation's secretary of state.
So how the hell could her negative coverage be in the same stratosphere as Donald Trump?

I still havent figured out why Clinton lost. Was it the Russian's? or was it wikileaks ? or was it Podesta ? Or Comey ? or was it a sexual predator husband ? or was a staff's husband Wiener immoral pictures ? was it supeona vilolation ? or was it the corrupt foundation ? or was it the congressional lies ? or was it the Bengazi bungle ? or was it pay for play ? or was it travel gate scandal ? or was it whitewater scandal ? or the cattlegate scandal ? Or the TrooperGate scandal ? Or was it the $15 million for Chelseas apt bought with foundation money ? Or Comey's investigation ? Or her husbands interference with Loretta Lynch and the investigation ? Or was it stealing debate questions ? Was it forensically deleting 30,000 emails ? Was it the Seth Rich murder ? Was it calling half the USA deplorable ? Was it the underhanded treatment of Bernie Sanders ? Was it the Vince Foster murder ? The Jennifer Flowers assault ? The Jennifer Flowers settlement ? The Paula Jones law suit ? The $800,000 Paula Jones settlement ? The lie about taking on sniper fire ? The impeachment ? The 6 billion $ she "lost" when in charge of the state dept ? The 10 million she took for the pardon of Marc Rich ? Or JAMES ENDOREMENT or pops Gee, I just cant quite put my finger on it, but it seems to be right in front of me.

You KKK/Nazis much more dangerous than Muslim terrorists, in Trash's degraded AmeriKKKa.
FBI testimony shows just how serious the white nationalist threat is
Their online reach remains international, despite efforts to shut them down.
On Wednesday the new head of the FBI, Christopher Wray, told the Senate Homeland Security Committee that his agency
“has about 1,000 open domestic-terrorism investigations as we speak”
– a term most often used to describe white nationalists, hardline right-wing militias, and Christian secessionists.
“I don’t think Americans understand the level of threat we have in this country from white supremacists,” Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill said. (https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/fbi-white-nationalists-isis-threat-nazis-alt-right-trump-muslim-groups-terrorism-report-a7972136.html)
Law enforcement has repeatedly warned of the dangers of white nationalists over the past year.
In April, a report from the Government Accountability office noted that, (http://www.gao.gov/assets/690/683984.pdf)
“Fatalities resulting from attacks by far-right wing violent extremists have exceeded those caused by radical Islamist violent extremists in 10 of the 15 years.”
In May, a FBI/Homeland Security bulletin said (https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3924852-White-Supremacist-Extremism-JIB.html) that,
“small cells within the white supremacist extremist movement would likely continue to pose a lethal threat of violence over the next year.”

The Day Donald Trump Watched An Octagenarian Bleeding To Death And Did Nothing To Help (https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/9/28/1702578/-The-Day-Donald-Trump-Watched-An-Octagenarian-Bleeding-To-Death-And-Did-Nothing-To-Help)
In a 2008 interview with Howard Stern, Donald Trump tells the quintessential Donald Trump story, which took place at Mar-a-Lago during the occasion of a $100,000 per table charity event
“So what happens is, this guy falls off right on his face, hits his head, and I thought he died. And you know what I did?
I said, ‘Oh my God, that’s disgusting,’ and I turned away,”
said Trump.
“I couldn’t, you know, he was right in front of me and I turned away. I didn’t want to touch him… he’s bleeding all over the place,
I felt terrible. :lol You know, beautiful marble floor, :lol
didn’t look like it. It changed color. Became very red. And you have this poor guy, 80 years old, laying on the floor unconscious, and
all the rich people are turning away.
‘Oh my God! This is terrible! This is disgusting!’ and you know, they’re turning away.
Nobody wants to help the guy.
His wife is screaming—she’s sitting right next to him, and she’s screaming.”
Thank God for the Marines. “What happens is, these 10 Marines from the back of the room… they come running forward, they grab him, they put the blood all over the place—it’s all over their uniforms—they’re taking it, they’re swiping [it], they ran him out, they created a stretcher. They call it a human stretcher, where they put their arms out with, like, five guys on each side,” shared Trump.
“I was saying, ‘Get that blood cleaned up! It’s disgusting!’
The next day, I forgot to call [the man] to say he’s OK,” said Trump, adding of the
blood, “It’s just not my thing.”

One hilarious take I read was that Trash lives trashily, tastelessly like poor people imagine they would live if/when they were rich.
Trash is pure garbage.
