The war in the East is tough apparently.
Artillery is much more important and the Russians got that.
So just long range carpet blasting and then move in on the rubble.
But when the Russians hit the cities, and they have to actually fight on the ground, its much more troublesome as illustrated in Mariupol.
This seems to be a trend.
Anyways, a much larger number of people on both ends are getting killed now.

Hope you're right and sanctions do work. If they do it will be roughly the first time ever that they have. We'll see how rock solid EU support is this fall and winter, when Europe freezes and inflation causes food insecurity. I agree that Russia bleeding out economically is the most desirable endgame, I just have trouble seeing it as a dead certainty.
I don't know about that. North Korea and Iran are two cases where sanctions have kept those countries in check. Sure, NK launches a missile to the water once in a while, but both countries have begged to have sanctions lifted and both countries have been unable to grow and develop.
Also, in a way, the end of the Soviet Regime was also accelerated by economic calamity. It wasn't necessarily direct sanctions, but there were export restrictions from the US and Europe on things like technology and weapons which more or less amounted to the same.

Supreme court
This Supreme Court?
In the 1969 case of Tinker v. Des Moines, the Supreme Court famously held that students in public schools do not “shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate.” The Supreme Court did not, however, endorse absolute freedom of expression in the Tinker case. Instead, the Court said that the First Amendment would protect expression only insofar as it does not that “materially disrupt classwork or involve substantial disorder or invasion of the rights of others.”
In the landmark 1985 case of New Jersey vs. TLO, the Supreme Court held that the Fourth Amendment applies to searches conducted on school grounds. However, the Court also held that schools are not required to get a warrant to search a student. The TLO Court also decided that school officials do not have to meet the usual standard of “probable cause” that is required when the state searches an adult. Rather, schools can search students based on a lower threshold, sometimes referred to “reasonable grounds” or “reasonable suspicion.”

Let the mental gymnastics begin.
its not my proposal to make it legal for kids to buy guns, its koriwhat's. he claims to believe there should be absolutely no regulation on gun ownership. i'm convinced he doesnt actually believe that. im sure even he would agree that children shouldnt be able to buy guns. but that would require him to rethink his moronic blanket statement of having absolutely no restrictions whatsoever
The 2A isn't absolute (as ruled in DC vs Heller). Guns != nukes. I never heard a gun called a nuke or vice versa and pretty sure the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty isn't about guns.
what he really means is there should be some restrictions/regulations on guns. we just differ on where the line is as to what is or isnt an acceptable regulation. but he wont actually admit that because he's a dishonest fuck, or really just hasnt thought this through beyond slogans and talking points
Or he doesn't trust you to be forthright and honest about your intentions in even discussing it. It's not necessarily as bifurcated as you make it seem.
and yes, dealing with hypothetical outcomes of laws is an important part of making and enforcing laws, so it does come up in my profession. other side argues that the law should be applied in a certain manner, and its my job to figure out if that makes sense. if the law as they want it to be applied would lead to absurd results in other situations, then its a good argument against their position. thats how things work.
Does it make sense to mention nukes when discussion gun control? You rely on hyperbole and that indicates you're frustrated with the discussion because it's become a canned argument. You know where it's going and so does everyone else on both sides of the argument. Saying "it's not absolute" is fine between two people looking for a resolution. If one of those people though is looking to simply remove a constitutional right bit by bit (fallacy of the beard etc...) then admitting a right isn't absolute is opening the door for "well then where does that right end, where is infringement? Surely you care about kids, right?" as the opposition attempts to tie the deaths of children to people who do not wish to give up their rights instead of the people who did the crime.
if a state passes a blanket abortion ban, and somebody says "hm, so this is going to force a raped 13 year old girl to carry her pregnancy to term", you cant just brush that off as a stupid hypothetical. because its absolutely what is contemplated by the law as proposed.
Abortion is a separate issue.
what's next, are you going to mock engineers for always wanting everything to be precisely calculated?I would if they refused to get their MTE calibrated. I'm the one who says words matter. You seem ok with people using wrong terminology as long as they agree with you.

I actually showed text that clearly states, and I quote, children do not "shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate", which implies they do posses constitutional rights.
There are all sorts of permissible regulations on constitutional rights, that apply based on age, location, etc, not just children.

The second amendment doesn’t say guns. It says arms.
If the nuke argument doesn’t sit right with you I’m ok with the hypothetical of a toddler purchasing a military grade machine gun. It’s the same point being made. Everybody is ok with some infringement despite the language of 2A. Once people admit that we can discuss where that line should be.
why don’t we allow convicts to have guns on them in their prison cell? The constitution says shall not be infringed. Doesn’t carve out an explicit exception for people in prison or anything

Sure, they say that then go on to show that kids get adjusted rights. If they have the same rights as adults, why the double standard? What about the 2A? Do they have the right to bear arms?

:lol DMC's hands are shaking as he fails to produce the requested SCOTUS link
The second amendment doesn’t say guns. It says arms.
You don't need to go as far as nukes to show that not all destructive devices should be legal to own. It's obvious dude was talking about guns, not nuclear devices. That's straight out of the anti-2A handbook.
If the nuke argument doesn’t sit right with you I’m ok with the hypothetical of a toddler purchasing a military grade machine gun. It’s the same point being made. Everybody is ok with some infringement despite the language of 2A. Once people admit that we can discuss where that line should be. Don't toddlers have 2A rights? I thought everyone had 2A rights. The toddler wasn't arrested, what happened to it's rights? What is "military grade" exactly? Vs what? Still waiting for someone to explain that one.
why don’t we allow convicts to have guns on them in their prison cell? The constitution says shall not be infringed. Doesn’t carve out an explicit exception for people in prison or anything They had due process. See how easy it is to show examples without going to nukes? (however showing laws to prove rights are not absolute is faulty reasoning. Laws do not supersede rights, they often trample them though).
Still waiting for the SCOTUS link where they state the BoR doesn't pertain to children... not holding my breath...
I never said I'd provide you with a SCOTUS link. You showed in your response that rights for adults and rights for children are not the same. Obviously minors don't get 2A rights. Any instance where you see someone say kids have the same constitutionally protected rights as adults will either fail to explain 2A and other amendments that aren't considered for kids, or they will say their rights are curbed or special or those rights are delayed until age 18, or whatever euphemism they can find to avoid saying "no, they don't have those rights as children".

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank what ever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scrolls,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Since this is headed towards a long bloody conflict both sides are now making sure each know they are all in.
Russia just lost an embarrassingly (for Putin) large number of troops trying to take Severodonetsk.
The in-city fighting favors the defenders. The long range war favors Putin. He just hit Kyiv to show he could.
Then Putin warns Ukraine and the West (supplying long range weapons) about doing the same.
Good luck with that Vlad. In the long run, this long range war could involve Russian cities, not only in Ukraine.
Belgorod province in Russian was already most likely attacked by Ukraine in April.
So Putin hitting Kyiv was supposed to be a warning to the West. It might lead to a wider long range event that might not have great effect in overall military strategy as it exists now, but it could cause and escalation in events which will disturb both Russians and the West and US who supplies these weapons. I read an article on the 5 ways this war might end from military historians and such, I will try to post it.
Or should I just show a picture of Putin with a caption and make it take up the whole screen...

No, that was just to rub their noses in their makings.

You don't need to go as far as nukes to show that not all destructive devices should be legal to own. It's obvious dude was talking about guns, not nuclear devices. That's straight out of the anti-2A handbook.
i can go as far as i need to demonstrate that we do limit people ability to purchase, own, or use arms. i dont care if you like that particular example. i can use any kind of artillery, missile, etc. doesnt have to be nuclear. but its the easiest way to demonstrate that we are all ok with limitations whether we admit it or not
Don't toddlers have 2A rights? I thought everyone had 2A rights. The toddler wasn't arrested, what happened to it's rights? What is "military grade" exactly? Vs what? Still waiting for someone to explain that one.
They had due process. See how easy it is to show examples without going to nukes? (however showing laws to prove rights are not absolute is faulty reasoning. Laws do not supersede rights, they often trample them though).
2A doesnt exclude anybody of any age. nor does any of the bill of rights. but we agree that we can regulate toddlers purchasing arms. what happened to "shall not be infringed"... oh right, i guess we do allow regulations and restrictions after all. well, all of us except koriwhat at least. until he becomes honest

What's the connection between what "we do" and what our rights are?
Do you agree that minors don't have the same rights as adults?
"That speed limit sign says 65 but everyone drives 70 and the cops don't do anything, so you cannot say the speed limit is 65" This is similar to your argument about laws vs rights.

where in the constitution does it say that minors or children are not entitled to all the rights enumerated in the BoR?
but we have curtailed their rights anyway, because it is a pragmatic approach. being hard headed about "shall not be infringed" is stupid for this very obvious reason.

Sure, they say that then go on to show that kids get adjusted rights. If they have the same rights as adults, why the double standard? What about the 2A? Do they have the right to bear arms?
Nope, it shows kids get the same rights, adjusted for location, age, etc... just like you do.
The BoR doesn't pertain to you then?
ElNono
06-05-2022, 03:47 PM
I never said I'd provide you with a SCOTUS link. You showed in your response that rights for adults and rights for children are not the same. Obviously minors don't get 2A rights. Any instance where you see someone say kids have the same constitutionally protected rights as adults will either fail to explain 2A and other amendments that aren't considered for kids, or they will say their rights are curbed or special or those rights are delayed until age 18, or whatever euphemism they can find to avoid saying "no, they don't have those rights as children".
It's the same exact rights. The exceptions to them are not the same in school than not in school, for example (location-based), just like the exceptions to your rights are not the same at the airport or not at the airport (location-based as well).

Russian General Roman Kutuzov reportedly killed in Ukraine
Another Russian general was killed during fighting in the Donbas region, a new report said Sunday.
Russian state television reporter Alexander Sladkov said that Major General Roman Kutuzov was killed in eastern Ukraine, according Reuters.
Sladkov did not provide more details and the Russian army did not immediately comment. The Post was unable to confirm the report. It is unclear where exactly the general died.

Sadly, the Russian artillery is making a big difference. They just blow the shit out of an area from 5 miles away and then move in after everything is destroyed. The ukranian defensive line is suffering horrendous casualties from the artillery that they can't respond to. The long range stuff the US is sending may be too little too late. There is a three week learning curve just to teach the Ukrainians how to use it.

Sure, there are age-specific exceptions/regulations, pointed out as much earlier. They're no different than other exceptions/regulations that exist and apply to adults. Nobody thinks that because those exceptions exist, the BoR no longer pertain to them.
IE: No US government (State/Federal) can pass a law that prohibits children from saying "fuck god", for example, it will be struck down on first amendment grounds.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scrolls,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

pootin is willing to sacrifice unlimited tens of thousands of his army in a war of attrition trying to exhaust the Ukrainian army
That strategy and US lend-lease aid is how they beat back Nazi Germany in WWII. Soviet casualties were insanely high.

NATO conducts naval exercises with Finland and Sweden
HELSINKI (AP) — NATO kicked off nearly a two-week U.S.-led naval exercise on the Baltic Sea on Sunday with more than 7,000 sailors, airmen and marines from 16 nations, including two aspiring to join the military alliance, Finland and Sweden.
The annual BALTOPS naval exercise, initiated in 1972, is not held in response to any specific threat. But the military alliance said that “with both Sweden and Finland participating, NATO is seizing the chance in an unpredictable world to enhance its joint force resilience and strength” together with two Nordic aspirant nations.
Finland and Sweden both have a long history of military non-alignment before their governments decided to apply to join NATO in May, a direct result of Russia’s Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine. Over the past years, Moscow has repeatedly warned Helsinki and Stockholm against joining the Western military alliance and warned of retaliatory measures if they did.
Ahead of the naval drill, which involved 45 vessels and 75 aircraft, the top U.S military official said in Sweden — the host of the BALTOPS 22 exercise — that it was particularly important for NATO to show support to the governments in Helsinki and Stockholm.
“It is important for us, the United States, and the other NATO countries to show solidarity with both Finland and Sweden in this exercise,” U.S. Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Saturday during a news conference aboard the large amphibious warship USS Kearsarge, which was moored in central Stockholm.
Milley, speaking with the Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, stressed that the Baltic Sea is a strategically important body of water — “one of the great seaways of the world.”

I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scrolls,
I am the master of my fate:

Unbelievable, it’s all falling apart for Russia.
Don't know about all that yet, since this changes by the hour. However, it would certainly explain Kutusov's death. He saw that the situation was rapidly deteriorating after occupying 90% of the city just last week. He knows he couldn't go back to face Putin with such a failure, so got desperate and tried to take matters into his own hands.
From what I have read (from what I consider sources trying to accurately assess the situation in totality):
This is a very large campaign so there will be declared wins and losses some of which are significant militarily and others for quick public response and politics.
This is going to be a long war that will change faces depending on what kind of fighting is going on. Cities are the real kill zones in which Russian takes really large losses. However, Russia's ability to apply long range pressure is very taxing on Ukrainian defenders.
The aggressor in this war will take big losses while trying to go offensive eg. the river crossings and cities.
On the ground, more land is now being used to set up defensive positions for both sides. So attrition and willingness to fight on as well as public perception play a large role.
Putin is clearly banking on the unstable Western will to continue funding Ukraine while also suffering economic strain, to be on his side. The US complains about gas prices and inflation while Ukraine has lost a huge amount of infrastructure with considerable human suffering. Also the West might be just fine to end this idiotic war with some gain by Russia taking some Ukrainian land to be preferable, while the Ukrainians as a whole are not.
The kickback in Russia was rather surprising and sanctions take time to work. The burning of volunteer centers in Russia and the general population of young men still in Russia and not "drafted" is something to watch. This is still an operation and not a war; Which in itself has caused a great deal of conflict between the older military groups who wish for war to be declared, and Putin's effort to keep it sterile and distant to the Russian population by using horribly trained conscripts as fodder. The general population in Russia will suffer more as the conflict continues and it has yet to be determined how they will feel about it.
Putin still has the ability to make headlines (that are militarily insignificant) by rocketing cities in Ukraine trying to establish some sort of normalcy in Western Ukraine. Putin has not used everything he has conventionally speaking. The shift in the West's willingness to send long range weapons could further inflame Putin to test new tactics on civilians in Ukraine. eg. Kyiv was hit very recently
Personally:
This is an unnecessary giant fk up that has made the entire world poorer. There are countries who are making political gains in becoming players on the World scene like Turkey. Some leaders, who are themselves politically vulnerable, will take advantage of playing intermediary.
tldr expected
Im getting tired of putting people on ignore due to giant pictures of no significance. Middle school playground stuff.

I can pretty much guess which are the pictures and just avoid them.
Putin's history is rather obvious as is his background.
He wants his old Soviet Union back (astounding the "red" team does not remember this was communism)
He was testing the waters and he did lie about what he was going to do. Just like in Georgia, Crimea, Chechnya...
In any event he has set the Russian people way, way back now. They will plummet further. And until he goes, Russia will not be trusted by the Europeans except for a few outcasts who have rulers that dont have popularity in their own country and were looking for gain in playing both sides.
Putin, in essence has made Ukraine a disaster, and Russia will become much poorer and will find itself unable to sustain big trade once other chemicals such as hydrogen and green ways come into play and they absolutely will in my lifetime, there is no doubt. Russian economics must change. Maybe they need to go back to the communistic model like China and diversify. There will still be a huge difference between have and have nots, and they will never be able to tap into news sources like we can, but at least they wont have to drink aftershave again.
The US is not going to break with Europe on the whole. The historical background is too similar and the economics vital. When Russia threatens what the Soviet Union did after WWII its just not going to work. Russia has already lost a whole lot as has Ukraine. And now the European borders with Russia that matter will be fortified and much more diligent.
The whole thing has made big oil and weapons manufacturers very happy though. But its not as lasting a green energy (research accelerated by this war) and peace products for peaceful countries.

Putin must have expected the/this response from the West, every bit of it. Sure, MSM will assure us that he did not, but that's ridiculous, he knew and did what he's done nonetheless. His enemies never embraced him even during the calm period after the USSR fall. There was always side remarks, cut downs, rubbing his nose in it, et al. That wasn't lost on him, make no mistake. He toted up the insults, forgetting not a one.
He's obviously made his deal, his arrangement with China. That is the linchpin and our chief concern. It must be a deep and assured partnership for the long term, otherwise Putin woulda never crossed over into Ukr with this deadly of a commitment. [Most likely] the quid pro quo is China gets to whack out Taiwan with Russia's assistance, blessing. Will/Would we intervene at that point? I can't seriously imagine we would, but I may be tragically surprised. We're not going to go nuclear over a shit hole like Taiwan, that's what China/Russia are wagering. Hope the wager is a winner.

Good on Putin to at least return their remains so their wives and daughters can give them a proper burial.

China is wagering on Russian while piling on investments in US bonds?
Nah...
China needs us in a bad way, we are much larger consumers than Russia, much more valuable in the long run. We are a consistent consumer that China just has to have the always ongoing trade negotiations and the warnings of playing with their currency. And the oligarchs in Russia go for the fancy stuff in Europe. China is in it for the long haul. If anything, they will be dissuaded from just taking over any country in the mannner that the Russians have bungled.
China, I am almost positive, would rather not be in this spot. Probably like every other country in the world. The only thing good about it is China thinks they may have their time to play in the major sea lanes they have built artificial islands in and such. We just sent a big group of ships along with other countries defying their claims.
Putin did not expect the Ukrainians to fight so hard giving the West enough hope to arm them. I dont think the Western Europeans and ourselves would done much of anything besides sanctions had this been quick victory.
all imo of course but I feel its consistent with what has gone on. Please notify me which post number in which you would actually like to engage in some sort of discourse other than silly stuff. I dont mind this at all.

If China didn't want to be in this spot, Russia would've never crossed into Ukr.
To believe that Putin didn't expect precisely what he's received across the board is just following Western media enabled by the U.S. gov't. Portraying him as fresh off a turnip truck in terms of war planning/execution is wrong. Does he do it like us? No. He does it like Russia did back in WWII. when they won II. for us all. Sure, we didn't want to be seen with Stalin after he'd done the wet work, but that's just our pride...and proceeded to do it like we do it now in Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan. I firmly believe that China has no control of what Putin will do. It’s not like they are natural allies. China just has to adjust to make sure they are in the best economic and political position they can be given the situation. China prides itself on being a controlled economic powerhouse. With this comes the ability to project power to carry out economic stability and growth just like us, but without the mess of a democracy. The political elite who know best will control the military and the people.
Putin is not fresh off the turnip truck. This was a huge undertaking, a gamble that Ukraine would capitulate quickly so that the West had no ability to help. Just like Crimea. A real problem was that these two countries had already had a limited war going since 2014. Ukraine was familiar with the sacrifices, the question was, could they be overwhelmed quickly. It did not work out. Putin is old and he has always had the horrors of the Soviet Union dying to live with. He has said as much multiple times he just puts it into grandiose language. There are no superheroes that fit your needs. Reality is messy.
He royally fked up Russia and Ukraine. And made the rest of the world worse off. Putin wanted and still wants all of Ukraine. He will not see this happen in his life Imo. So now he saves face with altered definitions of success. But still clings to Russia owning Europe in his dreams. Hopefully he goes away somehow because most of the rest of the world is worse off for this mess.
let’s get the history straightened out:
Russia/ Soviets did not WIN WWII for us all. They were allies with Nazi Germany until they got turned on.These two countries planned dividing up Europe between them. When Germany could not take GB they turned East on the Soviets. The Germans got a butt kicking in Russia. Then the Soviets fresh off a victory moved West, and the US and GB went east. When the two forces met one side produced a free Europe, the other side made a land grab they had already planned for WITH NAZI GERMANY. Ask Poland what it feels like to be double invaded. This is why they are most likely Russias largest worry now. The Poles will not let what they went through happen again. I’m not fond of this glorification of Stalin and his slaughter of his own people and Eastern Europe. Of course the Soviets fought valiantly for their own land. But after that they made a giant land grab. Stalin was as bad as Hitler, just much less organized. This bs concerning the Soviets and Stalin has been romanticized. Its pure crap.

China is more than happy to get discounted Russian oil.
I think as simple mechanical wear and tear starts taking a toll on Russian oil production capacity because they have a hard time finding the complicated machine parts they need.
I think a safe bet is Russian capacity slowly erodes over the coming years.

..."romanticized"? Please. As soon as Stalin's army was successful in winning II., they headed for home. What did Patton do? Begged Truman to let him trail after the Russian's down and eradicate them from the earth. "We have everything here, now is the time."
From then on Russia was our designated bogeyman. That's never ended. We have to have a bogeyman in order to compare ourselves and our chosen design to other's. It's just the path we've chosen and one that will never end. Yet, even though Putin and Russia did this war and did these war crimes, and still messes with our elections every 2 years and puts bounties on our soldiers we still go to the moon with them and go green with them. How gross! We compare what Putin is doing in Ukr to what Hitler did in the death camps, but still do space shit with Russia to this day, skinnin' & grinnin' the entire way. And we get away with it, because our State run media makes sure it's hunky dory and A-OK.
Now we're climbing back into bed with the Saudi's after they struck down the Towers and MBS carved that Yogi scribe into little pieces..."We'll forgive them for the Towers, true, yes, but never MBS for murdering that journalist. Never, ever. This I swear! America will hold him personally accountable." Hussein & Biden.
Ha. That black gold, that Texas tea make those Towers and Yogi superfluous...just-like-that. Biden crawlin' now to MBS, belly draggin'...because that stubborn bastard will not pump in America.

We were still fighting Japan. McArthur basically thought the same thing about China after Japan.
We were not trying to fight the two largest armies in the world right at the end and after WWII?
We were producing massive amounts of equipment by that time, but we really did not want an overload of more blood.
The politicians were right on this one. These were two generals, Patton and McArthur, way too big for their boots. imo..
ie a DEMOCRACY worked. The boys were eventually brought home except the mistake in Korea of pushing too hard.

He was about to fuck up, found out and got his chickenshit on. Perhaps the Saudi's were going to do to him what he vowed to do if MBS landed on American soil...take him into custody on-the-spot, not for the Twin Towers, but for disemboweling that Yogi scribe. Now? Now Biden will double down on the Yogi shit. Just watch.

A lot of generals are feeling the need to lead from the front. Russian strategy is as top down as it gets but I get the feeling that Russian morale has to be poor given how many keep on putting themselves in harms way. They obviously do not trust their battalion leaders to do their job.

Left to fend for himself by his troop during ambush!!!!
They fucked around and found out!
UKRAINE has reportedly wiped out TWO of Vladimir Putin's generals in a single strike - bringing the death toll of top-rank Russian commanders to 12.
"On the morning of June 5, Lt-Gen Roman Berdnikov, who led the Russian troops and units of the DPR from Donetsk, left with the headquarters on a working trip.
“On the way, presumably on a bridge, the vehicles of the headquarters were attacked by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group."
Part of the Russian convoy was "destroyed or immobilised" - but some vehicles were able to escape the ambush and fled.
“After that, our sources reported that Roman Berdnikov died in this battle," Sladkov said.

Macron is in the bag for Putin...they've got their arrangement.
Germany, they're making a fortune thru this Russian aggression...(they ain't giving it away like us) and STILL risk nary German youth as they've risked nary since II. ended nigh on 80 years ago. They're having the time of their lives over this war, make no mistake.
And for once we're not risking nary American youth...this is Biden's wet dream...teasing/tormenting Putin without ending up out at Dover with his watch and the kids.
You're waking up though---though MSM will deny it to the bitter end...there is no off ramp for Russia, Putin desires nary. China won't interfere,,,it's Putin V. Biden/USA just like both men wanted it all along. Biden see's salvation, Putin see's victory.
Thread testifyin' on a Tuesday.

China is substantially smarter than Russia. They know where their bread gets buttered, and they also know the position they're in right now is directly related to western nations, especially the US.
China was a bit economy until the 90s, when they officially became the manufacturing arm of the USA.
