Well, the days of Putin getting away with it are finally over! 3 surly international frugalists and a couple shabbos goyim are on the job, and they've called in the big guns: that's right, God himself!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz9PNoecNxU

Shocking exactly no one, the insufferable Russian international frugalist Max Boot headlines the crew:

http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user5/imageroot/2017/09/05/freeman%201.jpg

Don't even ask me to explain the presence of Rob Reiner. My guess is that they wanted another irritating jew, and all the others were just busy. Also included is the odious swamp creature James Clapper. I don't know who Charles Sykes is, but he's a boomer, so I wager I could guess his hot takes on all issues over the last 25 years.

https://kakistocracyblog.wordpress.com/2017/07/12/meddling-made-agreeable/

Meddling Made Agreeable:

I care nothing about the kaleidoscopic Russian Picasso sketch the media has frantically painted around Trump. I wouldn’t even care much if it were all true. After all, Putin is entirely indifferent to the lives of me and my loved ones. Whereas the menagerie of the American left would prefer both were brief and miserable. The fact is nation doesn’t mean country–even when you hydraulically press a dozen of the former into one of the latter.
But, of course, Russia-Trump hasn’t been proved true at all in any meaningful sense. It is rather a ceaseless simulacrum of lib spy fantasies put to political purpose. All of which, we can recall, were originally breathed to life as a frivolous attempt to deflect the content of certain unsavory Podesta Emails.
As in most political theater, the plot disintegrates into camp the instant one puts its premise into everyday context. For instance, if your wife is ever provided lurid evidence of an ongoing affair, you should promptly explain that the true villain is whoever took the photos. Your own indiscretions being entirely incidental to any deserved outrage. Remember to look solemnly in her eyes when saying Honey, I pledge to find the culprit who hacked our marriage. I fear there may have even been collusion. As a favor to the blog, please provide a transcript of her response in the comments section.
Though camp or no, the intent of such ludicrous subterfuge is to render the populace insensible by sheer volume. Somewhat the way an ascetic can be rendered obese by a steady diet of McDonald’s french fries. And in comparison to the vast production of pulpy Ivan Trump hit pieces, McDonald’s fries are as uncommon as Faberge Eggs.
One of yesterday’s entries–which puts it approximately 700,000 anti-Trump articles earlier–was by a particularly gaga critic named Megan McArdle (https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2017-07-11/trump-s-defeated-defenders-can-only-whimper). The following excerpt captured her sense of pique.

"Donald Trump is an American. He is an American who ran for office under a slogan of patriotic pride and love of country. People who love their country do not help rival powers intervene in their country’s elections, even if that intervention might have the lovely side effect of getting them elected. Countries gonna country, and spies gonna spy. But Americans running for American office must pick sides: the will of American voters or the influence of a foreign power. Hint: You choose your fellow Americans.

A decent person certainly would not contemplate and suggest timing of any document release — which moves this revelation beyond merely “taking a meeting you shouldn’t have” and into the territory of “a presidential campaign actively coordinating with foreign agents.”

Do you traitorous Trump-sucking imbeciles comprehend this clearly? When you run for office you must pick sides: the will of American voters or the influence of a foreign power. Hint: You choose your fellow Americans. Doing otherwise places one in the territory of actively coordinating with foreign agents. That’s treasonous, I’ll infer.
The implication of which makes me quite ambivalent about attending the shadowy and secretive AIPAC policy conference, March 4-6, 2018, in Washington DC (discount ends soon) (http://www.policyconference.org/?utm_source=AIPAC.org&utm_medium=banner_tablet&utm_campaign=pc18_recruitment&utm_content=100off&_ga=2.93552221.1579026757.1499900231-1774276366.1499900231). I wonder how much of a strain on their conscience it is for American officials attending a function whose sole purpose is to influence their office on behalf of another country. Hint: You choose your fellow Americans. As McArdle notes, this is the territory of actively coordinating with foreign agents.
But I just stumbled upon this clandestine front for a meddling foreign power on the dark web. I assume none of our representatives even know it exists. (https://www.usnews.com/dims4/USNEWS/977a151/2147483647/thumbnail/970x647/quality/85/?url=%2Fcmsmedia%2Fd7%2F50%2Feb80775c4d3daaa6b55c2 01ace94%2Fresizes%2F1500%2F170328-paulryan-editorial.jpg) So to aid the CIA in intelligence gathering, I was able to piece together highly damning evidence of collusion with US officials AIPAC had kept hidden on its about page. The press is going to go wild with this:

AIPAC’s staff and citizen activists educate decision makers about…how it is in America’s best interest to help ensure that the Jewish state is safe, strong and secure.

I imagine Putin would be too embarrassed to try painting his interests as America’s to people actually hired for the latter. I’m sure he’d suggest we have common interests, but saying it’s in your interests to advance mine is an appeal of the mafia, not officials of independent countries. Why would American decision-makers be interested in a foreign agent’s opinion of what’s best for them? Do the Boston Celtics ask the LA Lakers which African ectomorphs they should draft? They don’t because other people are working for their own interests rather than yours. Thus “America’s best interests” take on quite a different tone in the mouth of someone paid to advance the best interests of non-Americans.
So what happens with dual citizens and AIPAC-influenced officials when Israel’s interests do not align with Indiana’s? Hint: you don’t choose your fellow Americans.

"As America’s bipartisan pro-Israel lobby, AIPAC urges all members of Congress to support Israel through foreign aid, government partnerships, joint anti-terrorism efforts and the promotion of a negotiated two-state solution—a Jewish state of Israel and a demilitarized Palestinian state."
You’re not going to achieve much more open collusion than that. These are agents of a foreign power plotting explicitly with US representatives to extract payments from the US Treasury while forming “partnerships” with their confederates. Russia has never attempted anything so audacious. In hindsight, that’s probably to its discredit.
Though the true stuff of horror titillation would be if Putin had developed a connected, funded, and serpentine network capable of sustained cultivation within its ranks. What if it wasn’t just the Trump family who were Russian stooges, but rather thousands of pawns and saboteurs in colleges and communities across the country agitating insistently on Moscow’s behalf? That would be cause for a national emergency and military mobilization, surely.

"More than 100,000 citizens from across the country work with their elected officials and AIPAC staff to strengthen the bonds between the United States and the Jewish state.
AIPAC members in all 50 states are encouraged to be politically active and develop relationships with their members of Congress to help educate them about the importance of U.S.-Israel ties.
Beyond building support in Washington, AIPAC engages pro-Israel activists across the country through a vibrant network of 10 regional offices and seven satellite offices.
Pro-Israel activists from Missoula to Miami work hand-in-hand with AIPAC staff to improve the future and security of the United States and Israel.
A strong U.S.-Israel relationship is a cause that concerns a broad spectrum of Americans. As such, AIPAC professionals work with a wide range of communities to promote pro-Israel political activism nation-wide.
AIPAC is also working to foster the next generation of American pro-Israel leaders, by working on hundreds of college and high school campuses, empowering and educating student activists to answer Israel’s detractors and use political involvement to build support for Israel."

I suppose it’s too easy game to mock such cosmic hypocrisy as this. For it is simply the ancient apparatus by which the cunning crush the credulous. And such it will always be. The only operative “American Value” in these performances is the one of who/whom. Russia is bad and therefore if the son of a presidential candidate answers an Email from a lawyer who is Russian, we have calamitous foreign intrigue. In contrast Israel is good, and so their vast and open manipulation operation, which exists for the express purpose of foreign meddling and influence, is a thing of sweet innocence.
Oh, and how did we come to the political conclusion that Israel is good and who Israel doesn’t like is bad? Well that would be through the efforts of organizations like AIPAC.
Whoever said foreign meddling wasn’t felicitous?

All of this is happening because of this:

https://wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/

The real leaker is unknown. Crowdstrike fabricated the "hacking" evidence and the corrupt heads of FBI, CIA, and NSA (Comey, Brenann, Clapper) under Obama went along with it. Illegal surveillance was conducted on the Trump administration and it's associates during the campaign. Mueller is employing thug tactics to elicit a false confession/testimony from Manafort or Flynn in absence of forensic evidence of collusion or hacking - it does not exist. All they need is testimony for impeachment. Proprietors of false testimony in the service of dispatching Trump will not be faced with consequences for perjury. The rule of law is dead; politics is now a pure power exercise: who has it and who is willing to wield it.

Crowdstrike and Fusion GPS, the two organizations at the very center of virtually all of these sordid allegations, have repeatedly refused to testify in front of the Senate and have faced zero pressure from Democrats to do so. FBI refuses to answer questions about the bogus dossier. Julian Assange has never been contacted or questioned in any way.

WITCH HUNT.

They do not care about the truth. They are like the husband who is caught cheating and beats the shit out of his wife for looking at his phone. "Your lover hacked my calls! Adulterer! I'm divorcing you you traitorous bitch!"

speaking of witch hunts, you do know why assange is in hiding and would probably not play ball with anyone right? I just searched trump assange 2010 (year wikileaks dropped the collateral murder video) and sure enough, trump is quoted as saying:

Even Trump in 2010 on Fox News' Brian Kilmeade radio show said of WikiLeaks in the wake of the Manning-fueled releases: "I think it's disgraceful. I think there should be like death penalty or something."

CURIOUS COINCIDENCES IN IRS TRUMP AUDIT

And an audit in 2002 would be looking at tax returns from 2001.

Again, that seems significant because it is in 2001 that we see Sater go active in Trump Tower.

it is also in this period that Michael Cohen — an attorney married into a Ukrainian family — began to acquire an unusual number of units in Trump buildings, as did his relatives.

if there is a connection between the IRS decision to audit Trump, and Trump’s involvement with Sater and Cohen.

a review of the last 10 years of his tax returns do not reflect ties to Russia (http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/30/politics/donald-trump-tax-audit-letter/).

No Ties to Russia?

This is a fascinating assertion, considering

the law firm making that claim itself has so many ties to Russia that it was named “Russia Law Firm of the Year.” (https://www.morganlewis.com/news/chambers-partners-names-morgan-lewis-as-russia-law-firm-of-the-year)

Its Moscow office alone has more than 40 lawyers.

And, according to its website (https://www.morganlewis.com/locations/moscow), it seems to have expertise in areas especially relevant to Trump.

It was in 2005 that Trump switched law firms (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/donald-trumps-tax-law-firm-deep-ties-russia/story?id=47376041)— to the “Russia Law Firm of the Year” described above.

And it was Trump’s tax return for the year 2005 (http://www.thedailybeast.com/report-trumps-2005-taxes-revealed) that we were allowed to see, when some anonymous person sent them to The Daily Beast’s David Cay Johnston.

Why would I read something that would be based on lies?

I already showed enough Roger responses to assume he knew some things were coming because he was in the loop. Schiff doesn't need to be 100% right as long as he's in the vecinity of actuality. And he was. Stone knew.

IRS now sharing information with special counsel Mueller

the Internal Revenue Service is sharing information with special counsel Robert Mueller about top Donald Trump aides,

following a months-long battle between the two entities over what information the IRS is able to share, CNN reports (https://www.cnn.com/2017/09/26/politics/special-counsel-irs-russia-probe-information-sharing/index.html).

Mueller is investigating as far back as 11 years into former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s financial dealings,

which as CNN notes appears to be covered by the special counsel’s directive to look into “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump,”

as well as “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”

According to CNN, the IRS Criminal Investigation Division has been working in conjunction with the FBI since before the election to review possible financial crimes committed by Manafort.

A former Justice Department official told CNN the IRS is likely sharing “anything tax return-related,” but would require a special subpoena to share tax returns.

https://www.rawstory.com/2017/09/irs-now-sharing-information-with-special-counsel-mueller-report/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheRawStory+%28The+Raw+Story% 29

The Manafort case is serving as smokescreen for Mueller getting access to Trash's tax returns.

"top Trash aides" would include both sons and Jared.

Russian internet trolls are taking Trump’s lead by hijacking #TakeAKnee to stoke tensions in the US

Republican senator told the Homeland Security committee that paid Russian internet trolls are using controversy over NFL player protests to divide Americans.

“They were taking both sides of the argument this past weekend, and pushing them out from their troll farms as much as they could to try to just raise the noise level in America and to make a big issue seem like an even bigger issue,” Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) said before the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, the Associated Press reported (https://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/senator-russian-trolls-nfl-debate-sow-discord-50135890).

Sen. Lankford noted Russian paid social media users were using the hashtags #TakeAKnee and #BoycottNFL in their efforts to enflame emotions.
“The goal is heightened tensions,” said Clint Watts, a former FBI agent and current senior fellow at the Foreign policy Research Institute. “They’ll use organic American content to amplify to American audiences.”

“They would much rather use organic American content,” Watts explained. “It hits the audience better and it’s cheaper and more effective.”

Watts was a creator of the website Hamilton 68 (https://dashboard.securingdemocracy.org/), which tracks 600 Twitter accounts “linked to Russian influence operations.”

The website currently shows that #NFL, #takeaknee and #boycottnfl were three of the top ten hashtags used by Russian trolls in the last 48 hours.

MAGA, which stands for Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again slogan, was the top hashtag during the timeframe.

Watts explained President Donald Trump is easy to exploit with “active measures” campaigns designed to destabilize democracies from the inside.

“The Russians can just sit back and say: ‘Amplify on both sides. Make people angry.’ And it works, man, God, it works,” Watts said.

Corker's retirement.

Holy shit. In case you missed it:

It’s not unusual for a 65-year-old to announce his retirement, but a lot of people were caught by surprise when Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee did so on Tuesday. In a statement, the senator, who has found himself increasingly at odds with President Trump, said he he hadn’t planned to serve more than two terms in office. But is there more at work in the departure of this influential senator than simple adherence to a self-imposed term limit? What does it portend for the Republican Party establishment, Trump and the future of the party? There are a few ways to think about it.

3. Corker’s ‘Take-’em-Down-With-Me’ mission
Although Corker might well have stepped aside to avoid a brutal primary challenge, he seems unlikely to go gentle into that good night. The statement announcing his decision contained a rather interesting little passage:

I also believe the most important public service I have to offer our country could well occur over the next 15 months, and I want to be able to do that as thoughtfully and independently as I did the first 10 years and nine months of my Senate career. [emphasis mine-RG]

What does Corker think might happen over the next 15 months? (A request for comment from Corker’s office had not been returned by the time of publication.) For one thing, as head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee at a time when there is much talk of Russian interference in the 2016 election, he could launch an investigation, as other congressional committees have done. Or he could simply step up his criticism of both the president and the Trump campaign’s possibly cozy relations with Russian influencers. In the early months of the Trump administration, Corker was vocal in his criticism of Russia. In December, he promised his committee would thoroughly review Russian hacking during the 2016 election, but in February, he stopped short of endorsing an independent commission to look into it. He has pushed for stronger sanctions against Russia, so it’s clear that he cares about the issue. But in July, a Tennessee paper called him out, saying that he’d been too quiet on the issue of Trump’s seeming affinity for Putin’s Russia. Corker told the paper: “I’m a guy you talk to on policy issues. Find somebody else to talk to about politics.”

It might be that with 15 months to go, Corker is willing to go out in kamikaze fashion: His political career might be dead, but he’s more than willing to set fire to some things on the way out."

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/3-ways-to-read-sen-bob-corkers-retirement/

Senator Corker seems to believe Trump will be impeached.

Russian ‘propaganda outlet’ RT tried to purchase Twitter handles to covertly influence 2016 election

exclusive report by Foreign Policy (https://foreignpolicy.com/2017/09/21/how-a-russian-outlet-sought-to-reach-american-voters-on-twitter/), Kremlin-backed media outlet RT (previously known as Russia Today) attempted to purchase Twitter handles that would allow them to covertly influence the election.

Following a report that RT claims the U.S. government has asked people associated with its U.S. arm to register as foreign agents, (https://www.newsweek.com/rt-russia-today-spies-foreign-agents-registration-act-sputnik-trump-mike-flynn-663094) comes more information that

the media outlet sought not only to cover the election — but to be a player in the outcome.
The FP report states that RT sought to purchase dormant Twitter handles “@NotHillary” and “@NotTrump,” telling Twitter executives they wanted to use them to push their election coverage — but without identifying themselves as the owners of the accounts.

According to the report, Twitter said “no.”

Speaking with FP, a spokesperson for RT said the social media purchase was part of an attempt to reach undecided voters.

“Trump and Clinton both were entering the election with some of the highest ‘unfavorable’ ratings for presumptive nominees,” explained RT’s Anna Belkina,

“RT wanted to explore this subject deeper by engaging into a conversation with the people who were neither in favor of Clinton, nor in favor of Trump,

which is the opposite of ‘expressing a clear preference’ for either candidate.

As part of this idea, we were considering ways how to adapt it to Twitter, however, we discontinued the concept and did not pursue handle ownership.”

The report notes that two Twitter account names have been siting unused for some time prior to the 2016 election; @NotHillary since May 2014, and @NotTrump since April 2011.

According to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, RT has been designated as the “Kremlin’s principal international propaganda outlet,” working hand-in-hand with Wikileaks — which has been credited for making former Secretary Hillary Clinton’s emails a central issue in the 2016 campaign.

The Foreign Policy (https://foreignpolicy.com/2017/09/21/how-a-russian-outlet-sought-to-reach-american-voters-on-twitter/) report also notes that it is entirely possible that RT has other Twitter accounts not specifically linked back to them and used to push the Kremlin line.

This military alliance is Russophobia institutionalized. But remember, even though battalions of NATO troops have been newly stationed on Russia’s border since the Cold War ended and 13 new members have joined since 1999, Moscow is the aggressive one!

White House refuses to provide some Trump–Russia information to congressional investigators (https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/9/28/1701448/-White-House-refuses-to-provide-some-Trump-Russia-information-to-Congressional-investigators)

Tension is rising between congressional investigators probing Russia meddling and the Trump administration, as

the White House and Justice Department withhold a number of records sought by Capitol Hill at a critical time in the investigations.

Operating on parallel tracks from special counsel Robert Mueller,

the three congressional committees probing Russia's election meddling have asked for scores of documents related to everything from Jared Kushner's security clearance to records surrounding President Donald Trump's discussions with James Comey before he was fired as FBI director.

From day one, the Trump White House has pretended to an extreme interpretation of “executive privilege”—

one that protects every conversation with Trump or other high officials without even having to be declared (http://www.businessinsider.com/what-is-executive-privilege-jeff-sessions-testimony-2017-6).

It’s a radical interpretation that Jeff Sessions leaned on back in June.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday declined to answer certain questions during his Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, citing an obligation to protect the privacy of his communications with the president.

The Trump version of executive privilege expands on the idea enormously, giving Trump a preemptive strike on any information, delivered in any way.

And now the Sessions-led DOJ seems to be expanding this theory to both documents and people. (http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/25/politics/white-house-congress-russia-investigation/index.html)

“Jared is probably one of the top five or 10 targets in the U.S. government because of his access to the president and because of the portfolios he’s been given,” said Richard Clarke, a former top cybersecurity advisor to three presidents. “It’s a pretty safe bet that his personal devices have been compromised by foreign intelligence services. And therefore there is some risk that meetings he attends are compromised too.”

White House spokespeople declined to comment on which officials received the briefings, but the former intelligence official said that former chief of staff Reince Priebus and homeland security adviser Thomas Bossert were among those who attended. Kushner and others of his rank were expected to attend, especially given the high potential for cyberespionage as one administration replaces another, the officials said.

Jared Kushner Used Private Email After He Was Warned It Would Give Russian Spies Access

Soon after President Trump was sworn into office on January 20,

the NSA warned Jared Kushner not to use a personal email address for government business because

it would leave him vulnerable to hacking by the Russians and others.

So then he proceeded to use a personal email address for government business.

When a tanker vanishes, all the evidence points to Russia

In June, 37,000-tonne tanker vanished from GPS off the Russian coast. All the evidence points to Russia. But what's really going on?

As the 184-metre-long tanker was docking in Novorossiysk, Le Meur was on the ship's bridge overseeing the final approach. Suddenly, the ship's warning signals started blaring. "As soon as the GPS lost the signal, we had tons of alarms," he says. "You cannot miss it. Pretty much everything on the bridge started raising alarms."

Instead of displaying Atria's actual position, the ship's systems located it 25 to 30 miles away – at Gelendzhik airport. GPS disruptions aren't uncommon, Le Meur says, but most of the time when problems happen they're limited to a few hundred metres.

"In my entire career, it's my first time I have experienced such a big discrepancy." To be sure of the failure during the incident in June, the crew restarted both the main GPS and the backup unit, only to find both systems still gave the same incorrect positioning data.

officials have issued a secondary statement, confirming 20 ships (https://www.marad.dot.gov/environment-and-safety/office-of-security/msci/advisory/) in the Black Sea had been affected.

At the time, Atria's AIS system showed around 20 to 25 large boats were also marooned at Gelendzhik airport. Worried about the situation, Le Meur radioed the ships. The responses all confirmed the same thing: something, or someone, was meddling with the their GPS.

In October 2016, technology firm Yandex claimed that the Kremlin was spoofing GPS signals nearby (https://www.wired.co.uk/article/russias-search-engineer).

Devices in the area, including vehicles from Yandex's taxi service, were showing their location 25 miles away at the Vnukovo International Airport.

"They have some equipment maybe," Yandex CEO Arkady Volozh said in an interview with WIRED earlier this year.

"The taxis [had a] much more material problem because it started to show that you are 30 miles away."

Mueller looks for ways to pardon-proof his case against Trump (https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/10/3/1703682/-Mueller-looks-for-ways-to-pardon-proof-his-case-against-Trump)

If Trump begins blocking the progress of the investigation with pardons, federal courts can expect some exercise. But Mueller doesn’t want to leave his case in the hands of Trump-appointed judges.

Acting as Mueller’s top legal counsel, [Michael Dreeben] has been researching past pardons and determining what, if any, limits exist, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Dreeben’s broader brief is to make sure the special counsel’s prosecutorial moves are legally airtight.

And if they do end up in front of the Supreme Court, Dreeben has been there—more than 100 times.

If you have a business page on Facebook, you can target an Islamophobic message to a relevant target audience simply by setting a geography (ex: Michigan/Wisconsin) and interests (ex: "Republican" + "Islam.") Depending on your budget, you can potentially reach "millions" easily.

Ex-Watergate prosecutor: Kushner moving email to Trump Org server creates ‘huge potential for criminal conduct’

Former Assistant Special Watergate Prosecutor Nick Akerman explained the legal liability to Melber.

“What is really outrageous here is that…he does it after it comes the light that he is using the personal e-mail servers,” Akerman explained.

“So the obvious question is, why did they move it over to the Trump Organization?” Akerman wondered.

“Did they take it over there so they could cleanse these emails and take certain emails out of what was in the server?”

“We just don’t know what the ramifications are, but there’s huge potential for all kinds of criminal conduct that could be charged,”

how special counsel Robert Mueller would view it “if he makes a request for documents and emails and then finds people start moving stuff.”

“That can be an obstruction of justice and particularly if they move them for the purpose of cleansing them and taking documents out and destroying emails,” Akerman noted.

“We don’t know exactly what the facts are here yet, but I can’t think of any legitimate reason why somebody who has private server, is taken to task on that, and suddenly moving to the Trump Organization where there are lots of people who have access to those emails,” Akerman concluded.

Oh noes! Someone posted something and that caused people to vote differently!

During the cold war this type of shit was called "iron curtain". No propaganda in or out. Now suddenly a facebook ad can swing an election. Had nothing to do with the fact that the dems ran the most cancerous candidate they could possibly find.

You are fine with a foreign power targeting US citizens? How about that same foreign power having your social and other sensitive info?
