Well that was unexpected, kind of expected seeing how old she was, but damn! Guess what won't be considered in her death by the MSM or its MSDr's.
Did she have covid?
If yes, then probably yes. If no, then probably no.
It's pretty simple.
how many butter stick burritos did you fill your hole with this morning?
Is that your triggered outburst? :lol
Bullshit. A lot of disinfo comes from other places such as barstool anecdotal muh zip code talk.
:lol yeah that goes out to hundreds of millions of viewers. "Full of shit" bubba talk isn't "disinfo" because it's not info to begin with, idiot.
more gay pillow talk, you just can't quit it :lol
Talking about your mouth.. :lol
The bolded is not what you claimed and I objected to though. Again, this starts off with a false premise. You said the CDC said masks are useless unless medical grade. I asked you to source that, but you can’t because it was never said. Now you want me to connect dots between ‘effective’ and ‘useless’, where the former has a range and the later doesn’t.
As we all know, the mask shortage was very real. HC workers receive their gear from wherever their workplace could source them. At the very start of the pandemic this included NY Yankees ponchos handed out as PE (cue Cuomo did that, fair).
That Redfield post actually directly contradicts your claim. He’s asking people not to hoard masks so HC workers can get them, that’s a tacit admission that masks are indeed useful.
1. Your masks don't work against COVID (useless)
2. heath care folks need their masks for dealing with COVID (not useless)
Redfield is saying medical grade masks are useful. That supports my post. He also says masks won't help the general public against COVID, meaning their mask is useless.
Why is this so hard to understand :lol Your masks = useless. Their mask = not useless. If you have their mask, your mask is still useless. Since you don't have their mask, the mask you do have is, what? Yep, useless.

The bolded was never said by the CDC. What was said at the time, and you quoted, and has since been retracted, is that “there are no health benefits against COVID” from wearing masks, which still doesn’t mean they’re useless. If Redfield is telling people not to buy masks so they can prioritize them to HC workers, then that means people were hoarding the same type of masks AND that masks are clearly not useless.
I know the gotcha you’re trying to pull off, but it’s simply not backed up by the CDC statements. Coincidentally, why is it so hard to find a CDC statement that simply says, unequivocally, “masks are useless except medical grade”? You said every lefty here agreed with that…

There are anti-transmission benefits from masks on airborne pathogens that are well documented and go well beyond this pandemic, which is why it’s patently absurd to call masks useless and why the CDC has never said such thing. It might not provide you, the wearer, with health benefits, but that doesn’t mean the masks are ‘useless’.
You can certainly make the argument that different type of masks are more or less effective and that certain types are so ineffective to border on useless, but that’s not the claim you made.

Winehole23

Resonates ironically now.
Reading his work with the knowledge we have now, it’s puzzling that it took so long for people to listen to him. Snow’s career would be defined by trying, but mostly failing to convince others to change their minds about miasma and cholera.
Winehole23
01-01-2022, 03:21 AM
We have observed the many parallels between the cholera and covid pandemics, and we observe another here.
Before cholera we thought that some corruption of the air itself spread disease. Obviously, the miasmatists were wrong. There is in fact no such thing as miasma. It was germs…like Chapin said, passed from one person to another all along. And while these germs can spread in a variety of ways - most diseases are probably multi-modal - it’s clear that the medical literature developed a blind spot to the extent of airborne transmission.
And now we are learning that other diseases we have thought to be spread via “droplets” and fomites almost certainly spread primarily via aerosols. Indeed a recent paper in Science (https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abd9149) says “there is robust evidence supporting the airborne transmission of many respiratory viruses, including severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV), Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS)–CoV, influenza virus, human rhinovirus, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).”
Given the history of airborne spread that public health officials know well, it seems as though the notion of airborne spread has been characterized negatively because it had already been discarded. As we emerged from the era of folk science, “society neglected and forgot aerial health practices when germ theory promised better disease control,” writes (https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2021/04/21/revisiting-19th-century-medical-idea-could-help-address-covid-19/) Dr. Melanie Kiechle, a historian at Virginia Tech.
The literature is right about contact with germs, but thanks to the urgency of this pandemic we have come to understand that germs themselves can travel readily through the air in ways we thought they generally didn’t. This is a really big deal.

It's annoying as fuck out here because that really sore throat is a symptom of cedar pollen allergies too. So like half of San Antonio is asking COVID or cedar pollen right now because the pollen is through the fucking roof (and it's the only pollen that bothers me). My throat feels like I have been gargling razor blades, but I don't think it's COVID because I got negative PCR tests two weeks in a row after a few close contacts tested positive.

I did PCR because they're supposed to be way more likely to pick up asymptomatic infections and I haven't gotten this sore throat until the last couple of days. My last PCR test was 10 days after hanging out with people who turned up COVID+ so that should cover incubation time I think.

NJ's largest hospital system is gearing up for crisis standards of care
"If you look at what the (health) commissioner and governor are positing relative to their COVID models, sometime in the middle of January we’re likely to see the same level of hospitalization we were seeing back in March, April of 2020," Dr. Daniel Varga, the chief physician executive of Hackensack Meridian Health, told News 4.
HMH has 17 hospitals statewide and thousands of beds, but as more patients come in -- and more staffers get sick too -- the pressure on the system will rise. Crisis planning is underway at the hospital system, as healthcare providers are now preparing to strike elective surgeries as early as mid-January, according to state modeling that Varga has seen.
"We’re already teeing up our process for how we will manage when we have to go to crisis standards of care, because I just think it's going to get there," Varga said.

He's mesmerized and wants to make love with her while she is wearing it. They have a monster argument over it, she won't do it. We two have had many a discussion about that episode in the 50 years since it aired to begin with. And I've yet to convince her to wear a wig in a similar manner. I ain't giving up though. So many people getting infected at once guarantees mass hospitalization, death, and chronic disability from long COVID. Regarding the U.S. CDC's recommendation to shorten quarantines from 10 to five days, Lo said 23 imported Omicron cases have been tracked for more than five days. He pointed out that of these cases, 17 had a Ct level of 30 or higher, meeting the standard to be released from quarantine.
Lo added that these cases did not reach this Ct level until at least eight days after they had fallen ill or tested positive. He said the longest it has taken for an Omicron case to reach the standard for release is 12 days after diagnosis.https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/4393548

Scientists from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (https://www.biospace.com/employer/1980609/cedars-sinai-medical-center/) found that those who had had COVID-19 before, even those asymptomatic or had mild symptoms, may develop a wide variety of autoantibodies up to six months after recovering. These autoantibodies are called such as they have the potential to attack the body's own tissues and organs over time.
In their research published in the Journal of Translational Medicine (https://translational-medicine.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12967-021-03184-8), the investigators found autoantibody signals typically observed in injury to specific organ systems and chronic inflammations. .

Since he's not a virologist, historian or doctor, it wasn't instinct. It was hushing, no different than the CDC saying we should not wear masks. Trying to settle the herd.
Fauci got too much notice too fast, and I think it went to his head. Still, there's no telling what political pressure is on him to basically repeat what he's told to say.

Kind of makes me want to do a rapid test and do a throat swab since I have had a sore throat a few days after having some close contacts test positive a while back (a couple of PCR nasal swabs came back negative). But cedar pollen has been through the roof this week and that irritates the hell out of my throat too this time of year so it's not like having a really sore throat is unusual for me in January. Surprised to read nasal swab PCR only seemed to catch 6/7 omicron infections.

Systematic infection, long persistence in the tissues of the body.
We performed complete autopsies on 44 patients with COVID-19 to map and quantify SARS-CoV-2 distribution, replication, and cell-type specificity across the human body, including brain, from acute infection through over seven months following symptom onset. We show that SARS-CoV-2 is widely distributed, even among patients who died with asymptomatic to mild COVID-19, and that virus replication is present in multiple pulmonary and extrapulmonary tissues early in infection. Further, we detected persistent SARS-CoV-2 RNA in multiple anatomic sites, including regions throughout the brain, for up to 230 days following symptom onset… Our data prove that SARS-CoV-2 causes systemic infection and can persist in the body for months.https://assets.researchsquare.com/files/rs-1139035/v1_covered.pdf?c=1640020576

Let's do some math, fucktard.
8% of the population making up 3/4ths of the hospitalization.
If vaccines did not work at all, that should be 8% of the hospitalizations.
.75/.08 =9.375
Meaning that the unvaxxed are 9.375 times more likely to need a hospital.
Given what we know about fatalities, they are about a hundred times more likely to die.
You suck.

No lockdowns necessary, the virus itself is already challenging in-person learning at public schools. Hard to imagine that trend will slow down once kids return to school.
"We recognize there may be some bumps in the road, especially this upcoming week when superintendents, who are working really hard across the country, are getting calls saying that some of their schools may have 5-10% of their staff not available," he went on.https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/02/politics/miguel-cardona-warns-school-reopening-covid-surge/index.html

With no way to identify Omicron and Delta patients, treatment decisions are vexing doctors.
Most U.S. doctors have no way to determine which variant of the coronavirus a patient is carrying, a distinction that could mean the difference between life and death.
High-risk patients carrying the Delta variant could benefit greatly from two particular monoclonal antibody treatments shown to reduce hospitalization and death.
But those medications would most likely do nothing for patients with Omicron,
who would only respond to a third antibody treatment that is in very short supply.
